The loss of a great companion

It`s hard loosing my 4 legged furry friend. It`s so different coming down stairs and her not being there or her greeting me when I come

I think this is one of the hardest things. We can't see our friends anymore, but we still expect them to be there.

home and following me around like my shadow. I know I`m thinking of myself and I`m being selfish. She`s not suffering now and that`s

what`s important...I keep telling myself.

It is important, but your loss is still a loss, no matter the circumstances, OSIT.

Take good care of yourselves, Nancy and Renaissance, grieving takes up a lot of our energy.

To loose a furry family member is heartbreaking. My best wishes to you Nancy and Renaissance, along with a big, big hug.

I've had five dogs myself and each one was a joy. I still dream about them. Hope you will have sweet dreams too.

Very sorry for your loss! It's unbearable at times when a beloved family pet passes away.

Rest in peace Trixie!

I, too, offer great condolences to you and all of the Forum members whom have lost pets lately, or are going through health problems. Almost seems like a somber trend. I lost my girl, who almost died of Addison's disease years ago, last January. I still miss her, even though I still have two crazy canines that should fit the bill. This isn't the first time I have lost a pet, but the first pet I have lost that I felt really 'connected' to. I still miss terribly after ten months! Pets are special addition to the 'family' and give a greater gift than we can fathom.
