I forget the exact year, novemvre 2010 or 2011. I did an internship (seminar) on the fourth way Gurdjieff in Paris. The trainer was called Serge (I do not remember his name, but he had a Russian-sounding. In the group, there was a woman who lived in the US or Canada, she was of Russian origin, as consonance its name. Serge was saying what was the granddaughter of Gurdjieff. once I got home with it by subway, she confirmed that she was his granddaughter, but she said she did not know not the theories of Gurdjieff. in the seminar, there were dervish dances. But to return to our subject eye, Serge explained that the sensors eyes outside the retina (rods), were used to detect motion, but also to develop a new vision. he claimed that it was necessary to train to develop this peripheral vision every day, so that our perception is changing. Some students seemed to confirm this change in vision. but in groups, there always wanting to make it interesting. I do not know exactly what it is, and I can not comment on the credibility of Serge. He claimed to be the heir of Gurdieff, but it did not seem to me "Meet a remarkable man." But the comments of each other sounded like a reminiscence. Is that-in the fourth way, a work of peripheral vision was initiated by Gurdjieff as to focus our vision on a fixed object? Or Castaneda asking us to fix our gaze hands as to develop a new vision?
