The Questions

Hi JB,

I think in this case, you merely were being polite to a newcomer and trying to make things easier for him. That is always the right thing to do - it's basic hospitality. Unfortunately, this particular newcomer was a 'bad apple'. That's okay - you still did the right thing. Sometimes we can tell right away if someone is a 'bad apple' and sometimes it takes a few posts, sometimes it takes hundreds of posts or more, but we always find out eventually. It's a good lesson in non-anticipation for you. :)

Hi MnSportsman,

I personally didn't think you were doing it out of internal consideration, quite the opposite actually. If someone doesn't understand you, you try to help them understand, which is what you did. But if they do not make the same effort to understand you, then they are not interested in. After that point, there is no reason to chase them, that would be internal consideration, but you didn't do that.

Tyrael insisted to write in Turkish and didn't bother to look at the recommended material more deeply, that would answer his questions. If he had tried to communicate even using google translate, we would help him, yet he didn't. That was his decision, and after that point, his writings becoming more and more ramblings, it created a noise in the forum. It all comes to intention you see.

Thats just my take on it, though. :)

anart & biomast,

Thank you for your replies. :)

My intentions were simply to help someone get their words across to all ; altho I did desire a favorable response to arise from my efforts. Desire, not expect. Thus I was not resentful for Tyraels inaction in translation, but more disappointed from the inaction & loss of the possible results that might have been. Thus , anart, I am thinking there was some anticipation(passively) as to the results of the efforts, although to me, the helping another person communicate for their sake, was more important than the results/returns of "my" efforts. When Tyrael replied he had decided to be "Busy". I remembered the old saying & then I remembered reading in the forum topic, External Consideration turns into Internal Consideration(in reply #45) this sentence, ( I believe from Gurdjieff),
"By considering externally a man does that which makes life easy for other people and for himself.". That definition explains somewhat, that what I was doing, but in hoping for a positive result (anticipation?) , was it "internal"consideration?

& additionally, once again I ask, (albeit shortened from my original question) "Was my attempt to help an interference with Tyraels choice of "free will"?

To note> "I", am asking these questions to help myself(internal?). But in addition, am hoping that anything that others can learn from the answers given, may help others also.(external?)
Perhaps you can see the quandary I believe I am in, by trying to grasp this concept. & again,I hope I am not straying to far from OP intent. I am tryng to learn.

Respects & Regards to all,
JB/MnSportsman

In this particular case, no - and I think that you are over-thinking this.

Thank you! anart, for your reply. :)

It is likely you are right, & I thus I will not try so hard in thinking on this. I will leave it be then.
:)

Respect & Regards,

1) Love...???

2) I...???

Hi again Tyrael, please either clarify this post within the next 24 hours or your posting privileges will be removed. We've given you many chances to be clear and communicate, even with translation help, and it's not that difficult to use a google translator if you really want to communicate. This post is just nonsense.
