The Truth About Hair and Why Indians Would Keep Their Hair Long

I've noticed I'm highly protective of items and have a hard time throwing things away. It's not in my culture, but I wonder if there's some genetic or spiritual memory that contributes to this for me rather than an empty superstition.
Well if you need this items, then your fortunate to have them, otherwise why do we hold on to stuff. Sentimental memories, holding on till a day we would be happy to have them, are we just hording, perhaps we just appreciate their intrinsic value, or perhaps as you say we may feel an imprint with this items from having latent memories with similar objects from our past, after all more or less everything some how is entwined. But sometimes I feel that it's best to discard stuff to lighten the load. Lol

You have brought up an interesting question. Do we need to cut the connection with items we discard, and do we need to clear items that we acquire. Will a mental intention suffice, or perhaps using such practices as sage or tobacco smoke? Their are possibly many effective methods. Or how about blessing items before passing them on or using our selfs. This is worth thinking about....

Same with clearing people from our lives. There's a process to letting go of them.

I think Marie Kondo has advised saying, "Thank you for your service." when throwing things away, but it's more for your psychological ease rather than disconnecting your energy from it.
Yes I agree, but the state of mind can be vary interesting, we can set limits to it through beliefs often for our piece of mind. But the mind really can transcend the physiological emotional nature of our being and affect and be affected by other nature's beyond our subconscious up to including the different dimensions around us. Unfortunately some people not aware of this natures and who are overly sensitive may be adversely affected. A nother way of describing this is with the example of the clippings. Person A has no time for magical nonsense and their thought process is structured within parameters that effectively blocks psychic perception, and they continue with their life unaffected, it would seem. Person B may either fear or be comfortably predisposed with hyper sensitivities that in effect open or allow the mind and or other aspects of the person to attract or resonate with a distant environment positively or negatively, or be indifferent through mental blocking I should add, but their is some awareness made that opens channels . Our modern lifestyles has effectively confined our perception within a narrow corridor of reality that ironically is becoming more complex, and our vary being is being guided by this consensus, possibly towards our collective detriment. There have been warning signs for us to see up to now, and importantly there is intuition and psychic messages that guide our perception away from troubles that may not be openly apparent. I'm sorry to have stretched the example, but the heart of this discussion is our ability to perceive reality from levels transcending the physical dimension for our betterment, allowing awareness to guide our decisions. In a nother post I should mention how our identity our genetics our spirit is being affected by the garbage of negative intentions. Never mind toe clippings tossed in the garbage. There is a whole new level to the extreme that we need to continually be vigilant about in this interesting times for the sake of our collective future besides our personal lives. But I know I'm preaching to the choir. And let's all grow our hair long! ....Lol

To get back on track, my experiences with hair length has been curiously interesting. I once attended a silent retreat at a Buddhist monestry in Asia, where I shaved my head, I had the impression that I became more introspective. And on the other hand i had spent many years with the company of Native Americans in North and South America, having deliberately or intuitively grown my hair long giving me the impression that I became more sensitive to the environment around me especially during ceremonies. Yin and Yang.

Is that why women tend to be more intuitive then men, because of their longer hair?

I would go a step further and say it's about gratitude.
The acknowledgment of being fortunate enough to have been able to own this item.
Respecting the fact that many life forms have contributed or suffered to produce this item.

Regarding the article "The Truth About Hair and why Indians would keep their hair long", it's very interesting. In my case, I've always been attracted to men with long hair. I tried letting my son's hair grow and I kept getting comments from my father and aunts, "you need to cut his hair. When are you going to cut his hair? He's not a girl." Darn it pisses me off... But, I understand the aversion of men with long hair now with this whole shenanigans woke transgender thing going on. So I would reply to them with the "Native American and Rock music groups from the 70s kept their hair long" argument. 😅

What's more worrying is that I used to have thick hair when I was young, then they all started to gradually fall out once I reached my teen (hormonal I guess?). Now my hair is so thin, not only in density but in diameter too: they keep breaking and falling. I barely have any hair left, but it's not from balding, just by overall thinning.

Hi everyone !
It’s weird, I stumbled upon this topic "by chance" and I just finished the 14 pages (actually, no, I don’t think "by chance", because I don’t really believe in chance. Everything happens for a good reason, right ?😊) and I say to myself that maybe is a sign for me to grow my hair back ? I’ve had them short, like boyish, for a long time and now with a lot of white hair. It’s true that I think about it sometimes. But I hesitate because from a maintenance point of view, short hair is so much easier for me. And they are curly, so I fear it will grow back. I will surely have a bad time coming to a certain length where I may not look like anything... So I never jumped the step, I always end up going to the hairdresser !
But, maybe it's time to dare ? I don't know...

Hello,

I started to read the thread about then jumped to the last pages.
What came into my mind was the writings of Mouravieff in Gnosis, about the influences (A influences and B influences)
As i read it in french, i asked Grok to tell me how they are "translated" in english, and i asked him to make me a quick summary of their "definition", here's what it answered :
  • A influences: These are "horizontal" or material influences, stemming from the external world and daily life (society, habits, personal desires, conditioning). They keep man in a mechanical, scattered state and distance him from a deeper inner quest.
  • B influences: These are "vertical" or spiritual influences, originating from esoteric sources or a higher level of consciousness (traditional teachings, timeless truths). They aim to awaken man, guiding him toward self-work and inner evolution, but require conscious effort to be recognized and integrated.

So, what came to my mind is also related to what i learnt from Castadena books, the warrior concept. May it be that you need long hairs when you are in an "experiencing" phase, when you need to be more ... immersed in the A influences, when you need to train to, let's say, handle/manage (like when you face a petit tyran) them or avoid them. So in other words when you are facing the real world, the school in which you are (earth for us) and that you have some knowledge and experience to make (i have here in mind the mission you are given at birth when you incarnate). And on the other side, for the ones who are shaved or have short hairs, it's then more a step of experience which is more related to introspection : you get rid of your hairs in order to be less subject to the A influences, allowing one to more .. let's say "concentrate" on the B influences.
It could be also summarized like this : long hairs to acquire experience, short hairs to "digest" (analyse) them.
A bit like when G and other insist on remembering oneself, or one exercise is to make a recap of the day at the end of the day, just that here it's at the scale of one life.

Another think that came to my mind is about our 2D friends who are usually quite hairier than we are (not all species of course ...), but could it be a kind of sign that they are fully immersed in the first phase of any physical being : "gain experience", and thus, be plundged in the maelstrom of all the A influences (?)

All what i wrote here is FWIW, just random thoughts not much ordered.
