I think this article transfered from strategic Culture foundation should have never been published on SOTT.
While most of the things said in this article might be true there is one passage from the article that serves nothing but distortion of the truth and it can possibly speak of author's bias. This passage also sounds as severely inhumane statment which is least fair to all the victims of Srebrenica regardless of their nationality or religion.

Filipp Korovin, a former UN coordinator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, says that Ashdown and "the remnants of the Clinton administration" are trying to conceal the genocide whose real victims were the Serbs of Srebrenica.
While I can agree that Srebrenica was heavily exploited by state department and their instruments in order to demonize bosnian serbs the above quoted stament is not very accurate.
This was by the way brought to my attention by a fellow moderator who is btw a Bosnian Serb.
Srebrenica is one of the biggest wounds of Yugoslav civil war and it will take many years to heal it. Unspeakable artocities against humanity were commited there but statments like this are nothing but biased and are distorting the truth.

Real victims of Srebrenica are human beings regardless of their nationality. It would be accurate to say that Bosnian muslims have been provoking the Serbs by cunning attacks on Serbian willages throughout the war, they also commited many atrocities on a smaller skale in those years. But then in 1995 Serbs killed few thousands of Srebrenica muslims in mere few days. Can you imagine killing several thousands people in only 2 and a half days!
One of the first indicted for this crime was actually a Croat who fought on Serbian side, Drazen Erdemovic. He was found guilty in Hague.

This is just example. For Hague Tribunal I have only contempt as it will remain the biggest shame of post communist era and the mockery of justice as long as Madleine Albright, Bill Clinton and both Bushes are not tried there.
Like other few milion apatrides who lost their home country with the break up of Yugoslavia I am fully aware that the perpetrator of the bigest crimes against humanity are not the Balkan peoples who are not more blood thirsty then any other European people but the US state department and CIA who did the great job in instigating the whole thing. Classical example of ponerization of the whole country and this time it was so succesfull because it was done by experts.

The author should have focused on the the Markala Market place incident in Sarajevo. While in the case of Srebrenica the Serbs were actually guilty of what they were accused of. In the case of their alleged attack on civilian market place of bosnian capital they were completely innocent. There is ample evidence which is being sistematically ignored by media the whole thing was set up by muslim authorities in order to secure NATO involvment and most probably orchestrated - guess from where?
Of course Washington.

Well, Deckard, why don't you go and make your comment in the comments section of the article?

But you touch on an important question: Should we only published articles that we agree with 100%?

Are there any such articles? Or are you suggesting that this one statement is so seriously wrong that it makes it a special case?

Hmm, the way I see this case its not the matter whether there is something in this article that one can agree with or not, like theory or hypothesis,
this is about presenting information which serves the distortion of the objective truth.

Obviously I dont hold editorial team responsible as I dont expect anyone outside balkans to know what was really going on there.

one of the myths that contributed to ponerization of the ex yugoslavia was the myth that Serbs are God chosen - or as they call themselves "heavenly people" - while the Satan is conspiring together with the whole world in order to get them. This myth has instigated many atrocities and is still present to some extent amongst certain portion of serbian population.

the quoted paragraph is seriously wrong for following reasons.
1. It is disrespectful to thousands of victims who perished during Srebrenica masacre
2. It serves for perpetuation of the above mentioned myth

Although this may seem as trivial detail people from the Balkans are still very sensitive to these issues and I wouldnt like anyone leaving this page with impression that SOTT doesnt care much for the objective truth.

But yes, I will leave the comment on the article so it will be visible to casual readers

I was just trying to find out how to do this and the only option I could find is to discuss the article on the forum.

It does say Readers Comments but it is unclear where one can leave such comment.

You have to login at SOTT. Then you have a field "Reader Comments", "Add a new comment" at the bottom of every article.

Tried login with my forum nick and pass

this is what I get:

You need to register an account on the SotT page - account information doesn't transfer over from the forum - read here http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=4853.msg31854#msg31854

If you had already registered an account on the SotT page, then you probably missed a letter here or there on your username or password - the message you received is just the 'username or password incorrect' message.
