I'm short-sighted, and it can be a drag sometimes. I wear glasses all the time, and when walking out in the rain it can get really annoying quickly. Usually I elect to walk without my glasses; sure, my vision then is like a Monet painting, but at least I can see something!

I liked the idea of one day getting laser eye surgery actually. It would be lovely to be able to see the world in pin-sharp clarity without my specs. But I've heard too many nightmare stories about surgery gone wrong, as noted on this thread. I guess I'll just have to put up with "Monet-vision", lol.
