Trump Assassination of Iranian General Soleimani - IRGC Counterstrike

I was just reading the comments from a sott article about the incident and the commenter I think said the accident is caused by a bond or Iranian missile. I just cannot imagine in my head that the Iranians made such a mistake at this time! I’m already getting depressed about the narrative they’ll spin on this. Years of lies again it’s so draining as most of the west believe the lies.
We talk about strategic enclosure here but it’s very depressing now in the UK keeping quiet. We’ve just had Boris and the Tory’s who got voted in by majority and now this. Friends and colleagues will be spouting on about the evil Iranians :headbash:. I for one are sick and tired of it all the never ending spin and games been played on a global level. I did have a laugh earlier that our news channels are throwing coverage at the Royals Prince Harry and Meghan want cut back on their duties but of course stay on the pay roll:rotfl: ridiculous.
Sorry to rant.
We live in a crazy world and the best way it is to be informed and see all of this with a grain of salt, because all of this is a Commedia dell'arte. The sad thing are the victims, nobody can pay for their deaths. Nothing. A terrible tragedy.

Some moments I have the sensation that it is a repetition of the 9/11 show, with a very similar scenario because what they want is war and because people are so ignorant of what really happened and happens that, they (the actors), can do what they want, another generation of people is ready to look without a clear idea of the sense of all of this...

Maybe it was a missile but from whom ? What is curious is that they insist that it was an Iranian missile but launch by mistake. Like emphasizing that Iranians are incompetent when launching missiles in the air, make mistakes, etc. And all of this without the results of the black boxes of the airplane.

Yes, they can be very tiring, these incompetent politicians that have been voted and cherished by people who care about nothing.

Joe did a great interview on PressTV and really mentioned the reality of Israel involvement in all of this towards the end of the interview. This would be something to share on social media to spread the message.

Here it is on youtube for those just wishing to share the video without the Sott article part of it:

Great job! Joe managed to include and adress all the major and most important points of the situation in the Interview. Great one to share!

So, it's not enough that the propagandists tell us that Iran shot down the plane (by accident), but now the Ukrainians are searching bits and pieces of Russian made missiles!

And wow, just as I was typing this, there comes word of how "Pentagon says Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 was struck by a Russia-built Tor-M1 surface-to-air missile system".

You can bet that in a few seconds, they will be blaming Russia for this. The propaganda is so moronic, it's unbelievable!

All I've been hearing all day on MSM radio news is that flight 752 was shot down by a missile. No evidence, just pure speculation, but twisting that narrative into fact. But when I watch the video below, the apparently "first footage of the Ukrainian airplane while on fire falling near Tehran", it doesn't look like an aircraft that was hit by a missile to me. I would think that an aircraft that is hit by a missile would create a huge explosion when hit, then drop straight down to the ground. But what I see is an aircraft, probably on fire, and kind of "gliding" downwards until it hits the ground, and then explodes.

MSM reports seem to suggest that not all parties involved in this fatal crash were invited for the accident investigation but on the Iranian CAA website, the preliminary investigation report (in Arabic and English) shows the following:

An initial notification was sent to Ukraine as the State of registry and the operator, the NTSB as the State of design and manufacture, Sweden (SHK), Canada (TSB), and Afghanistan CAO as the States whose citizens suffered fatal injuries in this accident.

Ukraine requested to participate in the accident investigation process, and introduced a go-team to identify and transfer their nationals' corpses, and perform other responsibilities resting with the country registering and operating the aircraft in such conditions, which has already arrived in Iran.

This event indeed impacted Canada as around 30 passengers were from Alberta with 40 from Toronto, and possibly more. And yet it matters not where they are from as loved ones are grieving their loss, just like all the other events people here have been observing over the years and the mass casualties that resulted from those horrible ends.

In each case above, some were just horrible accidents when things went wrong while others, after observing data, were purposefully delivered by sick individuals or groups.

As for the Iran investigation, though, was doing a little reading - following the press in Canada, particularly about the TSB, which reminded me of their past work:

[...]
Mike Poole, a former Transportation Safety Board investigator, said the Boeing 737-800’s black boxes have a “very rich” set of flight data and voice recordings of the pilots that will quickly clear up the basic question of whether the plane suffered a technical malfunction, or something more sinister such as a bomb or missile.

“The recorders are paramount,” he said. However, Iran may need help seeing what’s on them.

“These are Western-built recorders, and it’s difficult for Iran to buy U.S. equipment because of sanctions,” said Poole, who pioneered the development of the TSB’s flight recorder lab in the 1980s and is now CEO of Plane Sciences, a company specializing in flight data equipment and analysis.
[...]
Poole also cautioned not to read too much into reports that the pilots didn’t issue a mayday distress call before the crash; that doesn’t necessarily mean the plane was shot down, he said. In his experience, pilots dealing with a catastrophic event are sometimes so desperately trying to fix it that they don’t make the call. “It’s just human nature, you go into survival mode,” he said.

Larry Vance, another former Transportation Safety Board investigator, said it’s hard to say how transparent the Iranian investigation will be. He said that once the black boxes are accessed, normal practice would be for a readout of the data to be provided to the plane’s manufacturer and to expert agencies that can help determine what happened.

“Different countries have different ways of interpreting the rules,” he said. “It’s no great secret that there are things happening in that part of the world and in relationships that are going to make this complicated. I think it remains to be seen how that plays out…All I can do like everybody else is hope that for the sake of those who perished, and their families, that everything is done as openly as possible and that a full and fair investigation takes place.”

Now Mr. Vance knows a thing or two about aircraft disasters as he assisted (assistant investigator for the TSB) the Canadian Government - against its criminal investigation into Swissair 111 where 'transparency' seemed to be a problem and wherein the PTB seemed to want any possible illegality to go away and used the TSB to ensure the evidence was seen as "a technical malfunction" in that case. However, at that time it seemed much in opposition to what the lead investigator was finding (and he was snubbed and discarded by his own department). The Canadian press have now resurrected and rolled out Vance (in print and video) to offer up a somewhat reverse opinion on the Iran flight - hinting at what many want to see which would lead to blame. And blame may become important, thus in this case, again, people may well be on their way of being primed, primed with images of MH117, the Ukraine disaster and this time, well now, it is a plane not just flying over and being destroyed in Ukraine but from the Ukraine that departed from an 'evil' country as part of the messaging. Not only, again this time the crash may well be investigated/supported by Ukraine teams (their plane), like MH17 (their country). The name Russia will no doubt be repeated over and over for that negative association value to double down on by the press.

As for Mike Pool's caution, it seemed reasonable, yet I'm sure the Iranians (and he did say 'may') can deal with the black boxes just fine without western help.

This is all lining up to be another tricky case and no doubt, osit, it may soon contain filtered information to be rolled out from the likes of Bellingcat to help steer a predetermined direction using on-the-fly and stitched together evidence to help hide the true perpetrators or, it will just be an open and shut case of a real aircraft malfunction of some type.

Bellingcat (Red Flag)

It looks as if this whole story of "Iran shooting down the Ukrainian plane", is just more smoke and mirror, to detract from the bigger story which is that the US and Iran both backed down from a greater confrontation. The fact that Trump had the courage to not go to war to the displeasure of both the Democrats as well as the Republicans, is not being highlighted; instead we now have a big focus on the plane that crashed with a narrative being spun to accuse the usual antagonists, Russia and Iran.

This story also takes attention away from the specifics of the Iranian attack which appear to have led to a few casualties and wounded. Here are a few twitter posts in a thread of 21 with some of the details according to the Iranian debriefing of what happened.

News reports suggesting Iran fired two missiles at the Boeing, mistaking it for a US miltiary plane.

"It is believed that Iran may have shot the plane down unintentionally, possibly mistaking it for a military jet just hours after Tehran had attacked US bases in Iraq."

Besides the obvious and moronic propaganda, there are some outlets that have published pretty outlandish theories. I just read one on Strategic Culture, that on the surface seems intriguing, but as you read along it feels off in many ways. For instance, you can read how the Iraqi prime minister, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, describes how Trump threatened to kill him if he didn't concede to his wishes:

I received a new call from Trump threatening to kill both me and the Minister of Defense if we kept on talking about this “third party”.

and:

Huge demonstrations against me duly materialized and Trump called again to threaten that if I did not comply with his demands, then he would have Marine snipers on tall buildings target protesters and security personnel alike in order to pressure me.

Trump is no Caesar or Putin, but naaaah...I don't think he would say something like that. This article smells like some peculiar kind of propaganda, and it's main purpose seems to be making Trump look like a murderous criminal. I haven't seen this speech by the Iraqi PM being confirmed anywhere else. Conveniently, the speech was not recorded:

[Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq] Halbousi attended the parliamentary session while almost none of the Sunni members did. This was because the Americans had learned that Abdul-Mehdi was planning to reveal sensitive secrets in the session and sent Halbousi to prevent this. Halbousi cut Abdul-Mehdi off at the commencement of his speech and then asked for the live airing of the session to be stopped. After this, Halbousi together with other members, sat next to Abdul-Mehdi, speaking openly with him but without it being recorded. This is what was discussed in that session that was not broadcast:

URGENT: Iran is ready to admit guilt for the crash of the Ukrainian "Boeing" - Fars
10.01.2020 - 23:00
Official Tehran will announce the cause of the crash of the Ukrainian passenger plane "Boeing-737" this Saturday, reports the news Agency Fars News, citing its own informed source.

It is specified that the statement will be made after a meeting of the state Commission on investigation of aviation accidents. According to Fars, foreign experts will also participate in the meeting.

The source added that " ... the Iranian government will take responsibility. They'll explain it as a mistake."

It should be noted that Fars News is the government news Agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran and through it announcements of upcoming events are often given with reference to sources before the official press releases of departments.

Вот это, на мой взгляд, тоже достойно внимания.

This, in my opinion, is also worthy of attention.

Media reported on the US attempt to remove another Iranian commander
21: 53 10.01.2020 (updated: 22: 28 10.01.2020)
WASHINGTON, January 10-RIA Novosti. The United States on the day of the murder of Iranian General Qasem Suleimani tried to eliminate another high-ranking Iranian commander in Yemen, the Washington Post newspaper reported, citing sources.
According to the newspaper, the United States conducted a separate unsuccessful operation against Abdul Reza Shahlai, one of the leading commanders of the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps. Soleimani was in charge of this case.
Carrying out two operations in one day could mean that the murder of Suleimani-only part of the broader actions of the American armed forces, the article says.
Officials declined to give reporters details of the operation against Shahla, saying only that it was not successful. According to one of the officials, the American authorities were even going to announce the success of both operations at the same time.
On Friday night, the US conducted an operation near the Baghdad airport, which killed Iranian General Qasem Suleimani and the Deputy head of the Iraqi Shiite militia Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
The Iraqi foreign Ministry called the incident a violation of the country's sovereignty. The Iraqi Parliament voted to withdraw the American contingent from the country, but US President Donald trump has threatened sanctions if Baghdad demands the withdrawal of troops.
Tehran called Suleimani's murder a crime and promised to respond. In particular, Iran has attacked Iraqi bases where American soldiers are stationed. There were no injuries.
Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in a conversation with US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo called the actions of the murder of Suleimani a violation of international law.

Just stumbled on the following article on rt.com, it's not entirely related to the current thread though I've found it a little bit interesting considering the crazy hysteria against Iran that is being pushed by some media outlets and politicians:

‘Iranian with MACHETE & knives’ arrested near Trump resort of Mar-a-Lago, US media report
Palm Beach, Florida police said they arrested a man armed with a number of knives on a bridge just north of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Local media report he is an Iranian national.
The man had no known address and was detained on the Flagler Memorial Bridge on Friday morning. He had “several knives” and an undisclosed amount of cash on him, according to WPTV.
Other local outlets claimed the man’s arsenal included a machete, two knives, a pick axe and $2,200 in cash, and that a bomb squad was searching his vehicle, found at the Palm Beach International Airport.
Photos taken by a WPEC-TV reporter showed a Saturn getting towed away from the parking garage, with ‘I’m Germany’ [sic] written on the back window.

[...]

The bridge where the suspect was arrested is less than 5 kilometers (3 miles) north of Mar-a-Lago, the resort Trump favors on the weekends and holidays. Federal officials were involved in the investigation, according to WPBF-TV.
