Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

I didn't know that Trump's appointed Treasury Secretary used to be a partner at Soros Fund Management. Musk recently clashed with him over who should lead the IRS, accusing him of being a Soros agent:

Tech billionaire Elon Musk and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent were involved in a heated shouting match inside the White House last week, reportedly trading expletives and personal insults during a confrontation over leadership of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), according to Axios.

Musk reportedly accused Bessent – a former partner at Soros Fund Management and the founder of Key Square Group – of being a “Soros agent.” Bessent “roared” back, at one point allegedly shouting “F**k you,” to which Musk replied, “Say it louder.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt downplayed the incident, telling the New York Times that “disagreements are a normal part of any healthy policy process,” and that “ultimately, everyone knows they serve at the pleasure of President Trump.”

Bessent ultimately came out on top, with Shapley replaced by Faulkender just days after the appointment.

The altercation highlights long-standing tensions between Musk and Bessent dating back to the presidential transition, when Musk unsuccessfully pushed for Howard Lutnick to lead the Treasury Department. Trump instead appointed Bessent and nominated Lutnick to head the Commerce Department. Since then, Musk and Bessent have clashed repeatedly over personnel and policy, including Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency cost-cutting initiative, which Bessent claimed has failed to deliver on its promises.

I wonder what kind of deal Trump made in return for literal Soros allies to head both the Treasury Department and the IRS. This does seem to suggest that the Zionists continue working with globalists like Soros.

These polls are all over the place and have been mostly questioned because they are usually rigged. The last poll I saw had the Dems at 27% approval rating and Trump well over 50%. I'm going with that one . It seems to me we often end up with the 30% who are for all the crazy stuff going on.

Just saying 🤷‍♂️ 130 feet vs. 600 by 242 feet.

The BAD (130 ft.)

An America flag in North Carolina's Camping Word was forced to be removed:

Greenville notes that the flag is almost the size of a basketball court, spanning 3200 square feet. The pole it flies from is around 130 feet tall, almost double the current allowance.

The Good (600 ft.)

December 2024, North Carolina sees Chowan County wind farm open:

...Dozens of wind turbines spin at full speed over empty fields of crops, making a rhythmic, whirring sound. At its peak, each 242-foot-long blade reaches just under 600 feet above ground to catch as much wind as possible

...consists of 45 turbines spread across 6,000 acres of farmland and managed timberland.

I don't believe the polls.
Yeah I don't generally believe in polls either. But the directionality on these issues certainly seems right to me. Other than my Q-Anon "Trump Savior" believing mom, nearly everyone I am speaking too, all of whom STRONGLY wanted to see him win during the election are pissed off at him, including myself.

The one issue he is best on is immigration because people want it to stop, but the way he has handled it I think a lot of people disagree with in terms of the lack of due process, including deporting legal immigrants because they just criticized him. Trump says he support free speech...but only if you don't criticize Israel or the murdering of Palestinians? Trump who said he could end the Ukraine conflict in "24 hours" has been sending weapons and intelligence to the Ukraine, even after the White House disaster. His position on the issue changes so much that who the hell knows what he really believes, it only makes me distrust his motives more. And he allowed Bibi to break the ceasefire in Gaza killing and starving more Palestinians. He is blowing up civilian infrastructure in Yemen because they cannot actually track the mobile missile launchers good enough (like a cancer hospital being constructed). And he wants to start a war in Iran. So the foreign policy is still screwed up and he might be more dangerous than Biden based on his Iran position alone.
The tariffs are a complete and total disaster. I just finished watching a good 3 hour investigation speaking to companies up and down the supply chain for parts and it was very very damning, basically reinforcing the fact this is not the way you do tariffs. You plan them appropriately and give industry time to adjust. US companies are talking about literally shutting down for 3-4 weeks just because they have no clue what is going on with Trump's ever changing trade war position. And you can go here The Fast-Approaching Digital Control Grid: A Checklist of Trump Administration Actions to Date | Solari Report to see a list of everything Trump is doing to expand the control grid. Objectively, Trump has been a complete and total disaster so far.

Objectively, Trump has been a complete and total disaster so far.
Objectively, Trump has done very positive things as well:

- Exited the WHO (big pharma totalitarianism) and Paris Climate Accord ("green" totalitarianism)
- Closed USAID and other funding of globalist operations worldwide
- Basically ended the DEI and "woke" culture war insanity to a large degree within the US
- Stopped the illegal immigration crisis to a large extent
- Appointed non-globalists and even 'rebels' into powerful positions, such as RFK jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Hegseth
- Took at least some steps already towards transparency on JFK, RFK and the Fauci lies
- Did NOT go along with Israeli plans to attack Iran so far
- Basically agrees with Russia about what caused the Ukraine war, infuriating the remaning globalists in the EU

Why does it seem so difficult to not fall into black and white thinking, seeing Trump as either a "complete and total disaster" or a "saviour" who can basically do no wrong? The fact that he is doing at least some good is already a huge improvement over what we had before.

Will it be enough to avoid the decline or even destruction of the US? Most likely not, at least according to the C's.
