Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

I wonder how much truth there is to the reports that the last major Israeli attack on Iran in October last year basically failed due to new air defense systems in Iran - either the Russian S-400 or something the Iranians developed themselves.

Considering the eagerness of Israel and some in the Trump administration to bomb Iran again, maybe those reports were overstating the Iranian capabilities.

At least for the moment, the wiser-cooler heads of Tulsi, Hegseth and Tucker are prevailing since Trump nixed approval for Israel's planned attack of Iran next month. That doesn't mean there won't be "extenuating circumstances" that ultimately draws in the US, however - even if it should happen to publicly maintain its disapproval as a policy decision up until, and should, extenuating circumstances like a false flag operation, take place

As for Iran's defenses against Israeli aggression, they are probably quite good up to a point. But even if they were super-excellent, I don't think Israel would be deterred from its decades-long objective of crushing Iran as a sovereign state. And by Israel I also mean the "higher" forces that are driving the pathological aggression there - and in desperation - working double-time to make sure that the conditions and circumstances are right to make this war a reality; because there is quite probably a lot being put into motion from other levels.

So as far as rational behavior goes, Israel has already, and will continue to prove to be, irrational, insane, genocidal, and for all intents and purposes, suicidal. That's my take on this situation so far.

Added: Though they say Tucker has Trump's ear on this issue, even bigger kudos to Vance, not mentioned earlier, who many are crediting along with Tulsi and Hegseth.

Even if Trump should be stupid enough (or more likely, pressured enough?) to attack Iran, I expect more of a symbolic and pretty limited attack on Iranian military and/or infrastructure, likely negotiated/coordinated with parts of the Iranian elites via backchannels. Similarly to what he did in his first term with the Soleimani assassination. I still think any type of full scale real war with Iran is pretty much the last thing Trump wants to happen. Then he will proclaim what a great and “devastating“ thing he did there which he then will use to buy him some time to keep the blood first of the wolfs at bay (deepstate/Israeli pressures to start a war with Iran for example). They won’t like it, but they will be forced, at least for a while, to back down. For how long though is uncertain.

At least those are my speculations at the moment.

SLIPPERY SLOPE OR A SHARP CLIFF ON A FOGGY NIGHT?

American Concentration Camps. Chris Hedges

Well worth the read IMO. Although I agree with Chris's position in this article, other may not, so I'll post enough quotes from the article, so you can decide whether to read of not.

"writes Hannah Arendt in “The Origins of Totalitarianism.” “This was done, on the one hand, by putting certain categories of people outside the protection of the law" " on the other, by placing the concentration camp outside the normal penal system, and by selecting inmates outside the normal judicial procedure"

"ICE is swiftly evolving into our homegrown version of the Gestapo or The People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD). It oversees 200 detention facilities. It is a formidable domestic surveillance agency that has amassed data on most Americans, according to a report compiled by The Center of Privacy & Technology at Georgetown."

“By reaching into the digital records of state and local governments and buying databases with billions of data points from private companies, ICE has created a surveillance infrastructure that enables it to pull detailed dossiers on nearly anyone, seemingly at any time,” the report reads."

"Prisoners in the camps in El Salvador are forced to sleep on the floor or in solitary confinement in the dark. Many suffer from tuberculosis, fungal infections, scabies, severe malnutrition and chronic digestive illnesses. The inmates, including over 3,000 children, are fed rancid food. They endure beatings. They are tortured, including by water-boarding or being forced naked into barrels of ice-cold water, according to Human Rights Watch."

Trump:
“I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!”

"Those that build concentration camps are proud of them. They show them off to the press, or at least the sycophants posing as the press. Secretary for Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who posted a video of herself visiting the El Salvadoran prison, "Those that create these camps give them wide publicity. They are designed to intimidate. Their brutality is their selling point."

"First they come for the immigrants. Then they come for the activists on foreign student visas on college campuses. Then they come for green card holders. Next are the U.S. citizens who fight Israeli genocide or the creeping fascism. Then they come for you. Not because you broke the law. But because the monstrous machine of terror needs a constant supply of victims to sustain itself."

Stop it. I'm not having any of this hysteria.

Regarding Soleimani. From what I’ve heard, Osama bin Laden was never in Afghanistan, but was actually in Baluchistan in Iran. He was hidden there by way of a deal struck by Soleimani, who was about to release the truth, which is why Trump had him taken out. I can’t recall on which podcast this was said (I think it was Berletic), but it would make a good question for the Cs.

Question about Soleimani to the C's already made in this session.

Session 22 February 2020
(L) I have some questions about this Soleimani thing. I was really, REALLY upset with Trump about this Soleimani assassination. I mean, that guy seemed like such a nice guy! He looked like a nice guy!

(Joe) He had a funny eye.

(L) Didn't he?

(Joe) But was he?

(L) Well, the question is was he a really nice guy? I guess that's not a question I should ask. That's a value judgment. Uh...

(PoB) Nice for friends, not nice for enemies.

A: Yes

Q: (L) Okay. So, the thing that I thought about it because of Iran's really lukewarm response to the whole thing... I mean, that's the kind of thing that starts freaking wars! Archduke Franz Ferdinand's assassination started World War I!! Anyway... So here we get this guy assassinated and we didn't get WW III already. So, that made me suspicious. And then they had this little response that was like milquetoast.

(Pierre) It was scripted all along.

(L) Yeah, like it was scripted...

A: Back room deal.

Q: (L) So are you saying that Trump and the Iranians had a backroom deal to take out this guy Soleimani because the Iranians may have actually wanted him gone?

A: Yes

Q: (PoB) Which Iranians?

(Joe) Rouhani and the Ayatollah.

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) So was it decided upon from Trump's perspective as a kind of gift to keep the Israelis happy?

(L) He got to make a grand gesture for his warmongering Deep State and appease Israel, and Iran got rid of somebody that they were getting more and more afraid of.

A: Yes

Yet Hegseth was among those who talked Trump out of attacking Iran (a Muslim nation). Actions speak louder than tattoos.
Think maybe because they are rational and sane to a degree that it won t go like it did in the past because US is not what it used to be financialy, military, technology wise, and enemies are capable of good defense not like in the past so even if limited there are many unintended consequences and large losses they would like to avoid even if it is limited attack, so the risks outweight the benefits, but that does not mean it changes ideology of those individuals and that they would not be for it if no great risks.

Thanks for your input, as it allows me to address a subject, which I will do below, after I respond to your comments.

My understanding of this form is to network. To network would be sharing divers perspectives to a given subject or in this case a “thread” we use for discussion, networking, and sharing of viewpoints. If we all shared the same thoughts and opinions and just repeated them back to each other being careful stay in the “approved” thought patterns, I would not be here. I have been in just such associations before and left them in search of networking especially about what we don’t know. And that takes different perspectives with shared goals. Not to mention, mutual respect. Lack of respect will shut down the sharing of ideas quite rapidly, then welcome to the echo chamber. If the forum was to become an echo chamber it would no longer suit my purposes as a place of learning IMO.

"Hysterical": It come across to me as you calling me hysterical. IMO that is an ad hominem. I learned from early training in oratory and debate, that once someone uses an ad hominen they lose. Why? Because they failed to address the subject and instead attacked the speaker. Which shows lack of an idea or argument. The debate is done, and the fostering of resentments begin.

“Stop it Im not having any of this”: You are not a moderator, ambassador, or administrator. IMO you are trying to impose your position over the other form members that you do not have. And you seem to be doing that, to shut down what doesn’t match your thoughts on the subject without any explanation of why the view point is wrong in your opinion. IMO you are trying to take charge of the thread by telling people that you disagree with, to “stop” I won’t have it! With all do respect: I wont stop. But your welcome to address the topic if you like.

In this thread I can see that we, IMO obviously have a pro Trump MAGA leaning group, and a critical of the Trump team group. Personally, I see both sides. Even recently I have been involved in group prayers for Trump, yet I remain critical of EVERYTHING that is going on around us here in the states. We don’t pray that Trump to “do good” we pray that he be given a chance and have protection enough to have insight, and then chose which path he takes. Paraphrased but close. It will probably be a mixed bag of what actually happens. The question I'm asking myself lately is:

Can we stop the ending of the cosmic cycle with hope and prayer?

Can we stop Karma with prayer?

When does optimism become wishful thinking?

I, for one, have no problem with Adobe's post. He was upfront about the fact that the article might not be of interest to everyone. He provided short highlighted segments of the article that was easy to inspect. I'm familiar with Chris Hedges. We actually did one of his books at my local meetup. His style can come across as a tad hysterical.

Daddycat can also come across in a brash way. Seems to be part of his 'style.' FWIW

I don't know whether I can believe Human Rights Watch. Perhaps these criminals that came into the US and that were subsequently deported already suffered from tuberculosis, scabies, malnutrition or chronic digestive illnesses. I wouldn't be surprised. To me it sounds as if they wish to put El Salvador in a bad light, since their president seems to be successful turning his country around, but I could be wrong.

At this time passed in the accepted Holy Christian Calendar I m reminded of the song and words of a medieval composer in the English Language...Thomas Tallis.

I find it striking the different interpretations of his word in Latin. This from wikki for his monumental choral Spem in Alium

English translation

I have never put my hope in any other but in Thee, God of Israelwho canst show both wrath and graciousness, and who absolves all the sins of man in suffering Lord God,Creator of Heaven and EarthRegard our humility

And from 1610

English contrafactum (1610)

Sing and glorify heaven's high Majesty,Author of this blessed harmony;Sound divine praisesWith melodious graces; This is the day, holy day, happy day,For ever give it greeting, Love and joyheart and voice meeting:

It all that is left given to us is Hope and faith? Hopeful a 40 voice choir singing in the same voice words in voice and words. A choir compassed of 40 different voices from disparate backgrounds, , all coming together to live in the magnificent sound.

Meanwhile the vast majority of the world population are left at the whim of corporate and globalist overlords.

The future hands are in the hands of the people that are regaining the true meaning of life and spiritual being.

Forget an AI induced corporate structure...All paths lead to a nihilistic world, humanity is much more innovative and creative, with human talent for future generations.

The only thing I know about CECOT is what I've seen in pictures and videos. To me that was bad enough, 80 men in one big cell, sleeping on cement beds, imagine day after day with that, hell! There must be disciplinary measures, solitary probably and cruel psychopath guards. The facility is new and well made it appears and not like those hell holes you see around the world. In the article the extreme descriptions about the children sound real suspicious and it looks like a hit piece to me. From the Sott articles we see the serious problems with this group so they are disqualified with me. That last paragraph was a real doozy, hysterical is right! All these supposedly human rights groups are turning out to be working for the dark side. The ACLU is working to stop the deportations in the US. for example. I didn't read the article.

Thanks for your input, as it allows me to address a subject, which I will do below, after I respond to your comments.

What do you suggest Adobe to do with these gang members who have been brought into the country specifically to do harm? They all have rap sheets with many serious crimes among them. What do you think about their victims?
