Trump Elected: The True MAGA Era Begins, Now What?

@JEEP I need to check about the "Signalgate" stuff you hinted at.

Ther eis just a little something that seemed odd to me:

But it gets worse. Alex Wong, Trump’s Deputy National Security Advisor, is now at the center of the scandal. Wong is married to Candice Chiu Wong, a Chinese-American attorney who played a key role in prosecuting J6 defendants under Biden’s Justice Department. She even clerked for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, an Obama appointee. The connections are too convenient, too perfect. The deeper you dig, the clearer it becomes—this wasn’t an accident.

If you look at this - Trump would be the first top first guy to go ballistic in regard of January 6. And here, a wife of somebody is being used against him, to accredit of some hypothesis. Various reasons for the nomation of Wong may exist, but the bolded part seems to be a subjective extrapolation. That's where the author surrogates himself the certainty that "Trump is a bad guy", but such step should be double-checked before writing such line (I believe).

EDIT - addition:
Trading one evil for another is just not the way or in our country's ultimate best interests.

I would say, if we spectate a 90%/10% situation, it would be positive damage control and required, somehow. In a generic consideration, you are right, and there is absolutely surely one innocent deported from the US, etc etc

It's not perfect, it may suck. Somehow, it would be "emergency measures", "only Trump knows what's best, in regard of the data he has" at hand.

It looks like Biden forced some loose-loose situation

I'm encouraged now to look into president Nayib Bukele and it seems he is an important ally for the Trump US team and against the globalists. He just posted this on his X page. This MS-13 leader is headed back to El Salvador.

And another, more on Noems visit.

He was a speaker at CPAC this year and here is what he said about getting rid of the corruption to save the country and denounces George Soros (in a different clip). I'm so impressed. CPAC is a large gathering of conservatives held every year. His words have come true for the US as we see.

Definitions from Oxford Languages:

ca·pri·cious

/kəˈpriSHəs,kəˈprēSHəs/
adjective
adjective: capricious

"given to sudden and unaccountable changes of mood or behavior."

"it's terrible to feel our livelihood hinges on a capricious boss"

Thoughts and opinions:

Donald Trump is Capricious. And the US government is un-stable. I think those two points are fair to say. So, once a policy get rolling like: us sending our overflow prisoners to the Latin American gulag system (where they have no rights whatsoever) Cuba and El Salvador. Where will it go from there? Or, could it be given over to an NGO, or the for-profit-prison-system?

I've written about the El Salvadorian prison on the "Nayib Bukele, the savior of El Salvador?" So I wont mention it here other that to say that: since the beginning of researching it, I've had a red flags on this issue.

As part of looking into the US prison system, after Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders seem to be hyperventilating about how we've got to build more prisons more, more, prisons! Why? To house all of the most violent criminals that we have to let go because we have no room for them. Well, not true.

While researching I found that if I remember it right the number was 63% of prison inmates are non-violent. And many only there for financial reason. Cant pay their fines or other merely financial reasons.

SO...here's a thought. Let out the over 50% of the non-violent American citizens, and you have plenty of room for the baddies. Not to mention Musk as well as Trump want all that cheap labor, well there you have it. US citizen sent back to work and so grateful for it. New Trump voters and tax payers. But sadly, that doesn't fit into the making America great again plan.

IMO this action doesn't deserve a cheer, but a call for critical thinking. And I do understand that as "illegals" they are not US citizens, thus have no rights, but I think it is accustoming the US citizen to the process, and setting a bad precedent.

Without a doubt there will be a few innocents caught up in this which is sad and unfortunate. However I see this blow up as an opportunity for the opposition to crow and slander about almost everything Trump does. Being in the public what is presented to us is limited to a superficial level in many cases, then peoples opinions and speculations come in which are not facts. Emotions become elevated for one side or another.

The Biden people used the laws for lawless purposes and is an act of treason. It's the intent that counts. To say they followed the law so its defensible is deception. The Constitution and laws of the land have been altered for many years to favor the corrupt as well. So the argument in some cases "its the law" and its being defied is a hollow argument.

The USA was/is on the verge of being destroyed, serious steps must be taken. It could get ugly and no one is going to like it. Humans are fallible creatures, mistakes will be made, nothing is perfect. Hopefully, decency will prevail in most cases but in other cases it wont. Thats life on The Big Blue Marble. Maybe next time around we'll be born in more STO conditions with more evolved beings.

I stand with President Trump and what was done in El Salvador truly helped millions without question. Inhuman conditions, yes but they deserve it and are lucky their lives where spared. I understand people are trying to get their family members back who were wrongfully imprisoned in Cecot, hopefully the innocent will be recognized and set free.

And I thought Hillary was the flip-flopper? From Tehran Times, dated March 25:

Trump's retreat after repeated threats: Is it genuine?
Excerpt:
What started as a policy of threats and potential war has now shifted to efforts at negotiation and diplomatic overtures. But what’s behind this abrupt shift? Has the Trump administration realized that its maximum pressure strategy has failed, or is this just a tactic to buy time?

In a recent interview, Witkoff revealed that Trump had sent a message to Tehran, proposing talks based on "mutual respect." This stands in sharp contrast to the aggressive rhetoric of Mike Waltz, the White House National Security Advisor, who just last week declared that the administration was aiming for the "complete dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program." These conflicting stances highlight a deep divide within the Trump administration’s strategy. But this isn’t the first time the White House’s Iran policy has been marked by confusion and contradictions.

When Trump pulled out of the JCPOA during his first term, he promised to bring Iran to the negotiating table. Instead, the opposite happened. Iran not only refused to back down but also expanded its nuclear activities and strengthened its regional influence. Back then, the White House repeatedly insisted that no negotiations would take place unless Tehran completely abandoned its nuclear program. Fast forward to 2025, and despite all the threats and sanctions, the U.S. is not only seeking talks but has even reportedly hinted at easing some initial sanctions in a letter from Trump to Iran.

Yeah, it's becoming evident that Trump's bark is worse than his bite - unless you're the Houthis, who although armed, not with nukes! It does seem to be quite the deterrent, eh, Iran? And yes, it's being declared repeatedly that they have no nukes (and Larry Johnson absolutely believes this), but pretty sure the Cs said otherwise and if so, I would bet Israel knows this as well as CIA/Deep State. And rather funny that even Pete Hegseth has characterized Trump as strategically unpredictable - um, a good thing? That bit from this Larry Johnson interview very shortly in:

American politics is still a clowns show, only with different main actors. The signal-chat debacle is very revealing. People are complaining about the fact that it was leaked, which is in itself idiotic and pathetic yes. However, the most salient feature is the content of the chat and the mentality behind: bombing civilian infrastructure in a poor country on behalf of the genocidals to "send a message"? What message exactly? "We the MAGA American regime are as murderous and depraved as Israel"?
On the deportation thing, it was promised that deportations will concern illegals who are criminals. Maybe there are cases like that from time to time to throw some meat to the MAGA voters, but the dangerous precedent is kidnapping students in the street, in civilian clothes and masked faces Stasi-style, because they were doxxed by foreign organizations, for their views on the genocide. All that talk about free speech is down the toilet and if the natural laws do not protect legal guests, sooner or later they'd cease to apply to the native citizens as well. Very often, the results are in the methods, and they don't always justify the means. OSIT

I think it is exactly the same negotiation strategy Trump used against North Korea in his first term. First there were threats and mutual insults ("rocket man"), then they met and signed an agreement and behaved normally towards each other.

Yes, Trump seems to be doing both good and bad. Let's keep that in mind without emphasizing either the good or the bad too much. Some good is already a huge improvement over what we had before.

@mkrnhr "if the natural laws do not protect legal guests, sooner or later they'd cease to apply to the native citizens as well." Agreed.

They have worked up the population to desire the want for blood. And I think the time has passed for us to walk that back.

A) Remember how fast the government during the covid time wanted "us" marked and imprisoned? Antivaxxers, miss-informers...domestic terrorist all. I also remember hearing a congresswoman say that the Jewish Gaza supporters here in the US where "terrorist" so...domestic terrorist. Point being: the tide could turn very quickly so be careful what you wish for.

B) It's always the lower classed get the hell beat out of them, while the real perpetrators are the upper class that caused it AND profited off of the situation just get to walk away.

God help the 15 y/o Latino boy who thought that a tattoo would look cool to his girlfriend...

They have worked up the population to desire the want for blood. .
I think many in the US rightfully want arrests and justice - the list of crimes is long (Fauchi, Epstein gang, Bidens, Clintons, etc.)

But since this apparently cannot be done, or not yet, what we are getting are instead arrests of gang members (real or not) to give the MAGA crowd at least something.

And there is definitely the danger that the PTB want the "right" to overreach just as much as the "left" did. For what purpose though?

I thought the same. The leak is one thing, but the casual attitude in the conversation about bombing Yemen, which included that thing about the 'top missile guy' visiting his girlfriend in a 12-story civilian building, so they just bombed the whole building, killing several civilians, and cheered about it on the chat, is depressing. Also, indeed they said they wanted to send a message, but in the context of complaining about the US covering Europe's behind, it sounds like the message was actually for Europe! As in, "we are still the ones with the means to enforce our order around the world, not you". And the way to do that was to bomb Yemen?? Then there's the elephant in the room of Israel pulling the strings of the US as it pleases, but for that we didn't need any leaks.

In this recent Judge Napolitano interview, Max Blumenthal says Venezuelan males who were in this country legally via the TPS (Temporary Protected Status) humanitarian program, and who had any tatoo - including MOM - along with any hand gesture evidence - including that used by heavy metal enthusiasts - justified these persons illegal deportation in defiance of a court order and without the hearing required by the 1798 statute used as legal justification. Worse still, they were not sent back to Venezuela, but to the most horrible supermax prison in El Salvador. Most were not accused of any violent crime in the US and had no connection to Tren de Aragua - it was just a big propaganda show to appease Trump's base.
A basic question: how do you know this is true?

A basic question: how do you know this is true?

I view Judge Napolitano as a person of high integrity who chooses his guests with the same level of integrity. Max Blumenthal is an investigative reporter/editor-in-chief of thegrayzone.com. His news website appears to be equivalent to that of Sott.net in that it is not a controlled mass media propaganda outlet. I trust his sources have provided factual information that's reliable. From the comments of the interview:

Max that is why you are a real and trustworthy journalist, you are bright, honest and fair. Much support and appreciation to you and your team at the Grayzone.
Agree. And he has a phenomenal memory, with details and all...awesome..
Mr. Blumenthal is on the top tier of all journalists once again. Great analysis!
Of all your great guests, "The Grayzone" provides the most facts. True journalism.
Guys like max are more important than ever to fight this scourge to our nation and world
Max, Aaron, and Anya are the most honest and trustworthy journalists in the USA. Please feature them as often as you possibly can. Thank you Judge!

Attempting to find the real truth of current events is more challenging than ever - and more than once the Cs have shocked us as to the actual truth of such events as the real facts are so deeply concealed. All we can do is look to those sources that appear for all intents and purposes to be on the level, truthful, and trustworthy and free of any underlying deceptive agenda. That's why I give the benefit of the doubt to Max's accounting of this deportation action.

And the current state of freedom in our country as it applies to investigative journalists:

Max Blumenthal: Why was I questioned by the Feds?

Excerpt:

The questioning of The Grayzone’s editor-in-chief at Dulles International Airport appears to signal a disturbing escalation in the attack on antiwar journalism.

As I approached the customs line at Dulles International Airport early on the morning of February 24, a man called out to me, “Mr. Blumenthal?” He identified himself as an officer with Customs and Border Protection, and led me into a cavernous secondary screening room, where he treated me to a strange and disconcerting questioning session. I had just returned from a leisurely trip to Nicaragua with my family during which I participated in no political activities. But the agent’s line of questioning suggested federal authorities had little interest in my visit to Nicaragua, a country that happens to be controlled by a socialist-oriented government on Washington’s hit list.

As my family and I followed the agent down a long hallway, he turned to me and said, “I caught your latest appearance on Judge Napolito [sic].” He was referring to Andrew Napolitano, a former Fox News host and jurist who hosts a daily livestream featuring former military and intelligence officials as well as journalists like me who dissent from official national security narratives. Nearly all of my appearances on Napolitano’s program, Judging Freedom, have focused on Israel’s blood-soaked wars in Gaza, Lebanon and beyond throughout the past 16 months. When I asked the agent how he liked my interview with the Judge, he shrugged and declined to volunteer an opinion. Was he simply trying to warm me up for our own question and answer session, or darkly signaling to me that Big Brother was watching? “This is just a friendly exchange,” he insisted as we entered the cavernous secondary screening room. “You’re not a target or anything.”

Standing across from me at a metal desk, the agent asked me to fill out a questionnaire with my personal info and details of my trip. As soon as I completed the form, he flipped it over and displayed a hand-written list of a handful of names. “Do you know any of these people?” he asked.
[...]
[...] I’ve learned from activists and journalists who’ve experienced similar probing that federal agents often deploy inane or disingenuous questions to get their subject talking, then attempt to manipulate or entrap them so they can implicate them in a crime. In fact, the US Supreme Court has ruled that police are allowed to lie to elicit confessions from suspects. If government agents want to subject American citizens like me to extended questioning, they must follow constitutional procedures and allow us to have a lawyer present.
[...]
While I was allowed to return to my country after a fairly brief question-and-answer session with a polite federal officer, the interaction felt like an act of political harassment, and seemed to signal an escalation against journalists and activists who’ve expressed antiwar, anti-Zionist views. I can only speculate on what the Feds’ ultimate objective was, however, I know of several antiwar activists who have had FBI agents appear at their doors over the past several months asking questions about Iran and individuals with Muslim or Arab names. Just down the road from Dulles, the FBI raided the home of a Palestinian American family whose daughter is a Palestine solidarity activist at George Mason University.

It would appear that our Constitutional Republic is still very much in danger. Maybe now is the time to contemplate this blast from the past:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
