TSA pat downs

I noticed how quickly politicians and bureaucrats started agreeing with the invasiveness of the enhanced pat-downs. One has even suggested the use of existing Israeli eye-scanning and psychological techniques.

Somehow, I get the impression that everything has been thought out to the point where people eventually feel like it's not worth the trouble to even leave their homes unless they submit to "chipping" that can offer pre-screening "services" to people who don't want to take the time for any "opt-out" procedures.

Lordy, at any rate, whatever the next phase is, the plan and the equipment to implement it, is ready now and just waiting to be rolled out, I reckon.

The MSM attention is much more than I thought it would be...........

Ron Kirby says Alex Jones is "Driving the News Agenda" by having his listeners do repeated Google searches for a topic which quickly sets the news agenda for MSM which fears the internet and growing irrelevance of MSM. Kirby mentions the Max Keiser JP Morgan silver story as an example. I quoted part of the article which gives insight into the news agenda. The TSA "Attack on Human Dignity" is going viral, but I don't think Alex Jones set this agenda. Its millions of outraged travelers who have been forced to submit to the humiliation of "enhanced body searches" or "backscatter x-ray" technology sold by the psychopathic gang led by Michael Chertoff.

I linked to the Kirby article as I thought it might have some useful ideas on how and who is setting the news agenda. I would like to see sott.net set some news agendas.

Without a doubt, these are MAJOR recent reversals of position by key mainstream commentators. So what’s behind the change?

The origin of this change dates back to July of this year. Radio talk show host / documentary film producer, Alex Jones, became frustrated with Google blocking the viewing of one of his films [The Obama Deception] on Youtube
[Google owns Youtube].

In response to this censorship – Jones began a campaign of having his radio listeners [his syndicated radio show has an audience in the millions] start conducting “google searches” – over and over again - titled, “Google Launches Cover Up”

Meanwhile, Jones simultaneously had his staff of skilled in-house writers prepare stories containing the key search term. The power of a few million listeners – entering the aforementioned google search term “drove” the issue to NUMBER 1 in google search. The “buzz” was driving huge new traffic to Jones’ internet portals, PrisonPlanet.com and InfoWars.com.

If any of you are wondering how effective this tactic really is – you can judge for yourself by clicking on the Obama Deception here. I think you will find that you can now view the film if you choose to do so. It would appear that google has relented – wanting no part of the negative backlash their censorship was earning them.

The mainstream media – which seems to be losing ground to the internet almost daily - ALWAYS covers and writes their own stories [to give their own ‘slant’] to the number 1 google search terms. They do this because they recognize the number 1 search terms on the internet as being the ‘cutting edge’ of current news and for fear of becoming irrelevant if they don’t cover it.

Jones quickly realized he was on to something BIG. Using the popularity of his radio show along with a combination of his two primary internet platforms and group of talented writers – he could have direct influence on “what is popular” or effectively, “what is news” on the internet.

Jones had now replicated this initial success, over and over again, by introducing new search terms for his audience to ‘plug’ – typically at a rate of two or three per week.

Ladies and gentlemen – nowadays, whatever issue is most popular on the internet “IS” or quickly becomes the key issue in the mainstream news.

This concept snowballed quickly, mainstream media outlets began recognizing the influence that Alex Jones was having – driving the agenda or redefining “what news is” and they began quickly falling into line, regularly linking to other Jones content – with Matt Drudge’s influential Drudge Report leading the way.

In this case, the 'problem' is invasive screening and inappropriate touching, which is clearly beginning to create opposition among the public. The 'solution' could then be proposed to hand over security concerns to 'trained and experienced professionals', like private security corporations. In other words, privatize what is now being done by a government agency and pay out huge amounts of money to private corporations (like Blackwater/Xe, probably using new names) to keep people 'safe'. The end result would be a further erosion of people's rights, since the private security firms are essentially accountable to no one, and the capture of big contracts and lots of money. People would likely not accept this outright, but after a bout of hysteria at the hands of TSA they might think at first it would be an improvement.

That's where my thoughts went too, when privatization was touted as a solution. OMG - can you imagine the Xe psychos conducting these screenings? Yikes! This may well be the agenda behind all this press. :scared:

My city has an airport which is a major airline hub and today's paper has several front page articles related to the TSA and patdowns. The local airport manager said that his local security agents could do "much better" than the overreaching approach of the TSA, and were looking into "opting out."

Another article featured Hilary Clinton's comments from some Sunday new program. Reminiscent of how hubby Bill assured us he "felt our pain", Hilary emphatically said she completely understood why Americans were complaining--that she certainly wouldn't want to be subjected to the TSA procedures at airports.

But of course, these folks will say anything--and convincingly. Fact is, she doesn't have to go through security checks because she's too big to fail--I mean, too busy spreading democracy to "spread 'em" for a pat down.

I tend to think it's just the next step (it's always incremental) to see what they can get away with -- actually doing something that would plainly be illegal if it weren't the gov't doing it.

This is exactly where the pathocracy reveals itself, OSIT. In a constitutional state, the government isn't above the law.

Rechtsstaat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Constitutional state)

Rechtsstaat (German: Rechtsstaat) is a concept in continental European legal thinking, originally borrowed from German jurisprudence, which can be translated as "legal state", "state of law", "state of justice", or "state of rights". It is a "constitutional state" in which the exercise of governmental power is constrained by the law, and is often tied to the Anglo-American concept of the rule of law.

In a Rechtsstaat, the power of the state is limited in order to protect citizens from the arbitrary exercise of authority. In a Rechtsstaat the citizens share legally based civil liberties and they can use the courts. A country cannot be a liberal democracy without first being a Rechtsstaat.

However, this definition seems to be a better fit for the US government:

Oligarchy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The oligarchy (from Greek ὀλιγαρχία, oligarkhía) is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small segment of society distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, or military control. The word oligarchy is from the Greek words "ὀλίγος" (olígos), "a few" and the verb "ἄρχω" (archo), "to rule, to govern, to command". Such states are often controlled by a few prominent families who pass their influence from one generation to the next.

Oligarchies have been tyrannical throughout history, being completely reliant on public servitude to exist.

I think as always this situation goes deeper than what we think.

It is true that the situation of going through the naked scanners (mess up your DNA/possibly get cancer and god knows what else while pleasuring some sickos showing them your naked body) vs. 'enhanced pat downs' (get touched in your privates and feel violated) is the same ol technique of pick the lesser of two evils. But this shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone, it has been in practice in America for a very long time.

What is the difference between this and the election of republicans vs. democrats? Like the last presidential campaign of McCain & Obama or the recent elections a few months a go? I tend to think it is furthering the conditioning of this sort of mentality on people.

This situation was so ridiculous that the TSA were making even pilots go through these pat-downs, etc.. until there was an uproar and people began to *think* just a tad- like hey if the pilot was a terrorist, he could simply crash the plane into a building or do whatever he wanted, not to mention that all pilots are provided with a gun inside the cok-pit for protection, etc.. And so the TSA said OK OK pilots don't need enhanced pat downs, etc.. just because people began to show signs of *thinking* and in-arguable thought patterns.

The TSA seems to want to see how far they can take this whole thing. Now they are saying they want to begin these procedures in Subways & trains? How far will this go on for?

I remember reading, in places such as Israel airport security (and I could be wrong) they can force you to strip down to your underwear in order to more thoroughly pat you down, etc... knowing how close relations are between Israel and US, what's stopping the TSA from implementing those same laws? For one thing, imo - people in USA are still less, mind you by quite a low margin but still less mind-programmed and less willing to give up their rights as Americans than residents in Israel. For me these sparked outrages bring a glimmer of hope, that people are not ALL sheep. That some people really do see these things for what they are, a breach on their human-rights.
