U.S Soldier(s) Are Waking Up!

Nienna,
I didnt state that I glared at police/security officers. I stated that I knew quiet a few local law enforcement
and quoted a few sitiuations/comments. Most of these guys I consider friends whom I share their viewpoint,
or they share mine. Some of these guys refuse to carry tazers. Actully I emailed Sott articles to a few
of them, now they are regular sott readers. And we discuss what has been read from time to time.
I am guility of antonganizing the col.. but given the overall length (continuing) of time I have spent with him, I dont think
it was held against me. The person with H.S., I have made an effort to get to know him,
as to gain insight. He is really a personable guy. His motivation is patriotism, he has thus far not asked my
opinion on anything other than general things which I agree with a lot of his statements.
The initial parania I felt was based upon a few incidents that I have stepped forward and spoken and some of these
times, one of the above metioned P.O. was right there with me expressing his opinion. I wrote some articles under
a pen name that I probably should not have shared with certain persons.
My job brings a variety a gov. depts, polititains, and law enforcement to my door. If I was an aggressor I would
be waiting in the unemployment line at the very least.

Fwiw... I work with a lot of those types of people as well. One thing I've learned from my experiences with them is to keep my opinions to myself. Especially about whats right and wrong. They may agree with me sometimes but I know everything I say is pretty much being recorded in their heads. Even the ones I'm close with. I've seen in the past how a slip of the tongue can turn a head or two and then I have to remind myself, these guys are trained to pick up on these things. They are trained to evaluate people and categorize them and like you say Kimber, for many of them its patriotism first. Friendship takes a back seat. I don't blame them for what they are, but I sure don't want them to know how I really feel about issues cause it might change the way they look at me. They pretty much think I'm right on board with their views and I just feel thats the best way to keep it.

In the end I always try to remember, I can't help anybody if I'm locked up!

Yes, I realize that you did not, but I was using this as a visual for "what not to do". I apologize for the confusion.

That's rather nice to know. Cops refusing to wear tasers (and read Sott). Now if we could just get them to influence their fellow officers.....

Patriotism. Also known as ponerized. It's sad, isn't it, that they think they are being patriotic when, instead, they are working for those who are taking away all of our rights and freedoms.

I'm glad that you are not antagonizing him.

I think that writing articles under a pen name is an excellent way to express your disgust at what is going on in the U.S. and the world.

It seems that you are in a bit of a sticky situation at where you are working. But, maybe you can be creative and come up with less antagonistic ways to get you point across? Ways that would make them start to think instead of them being defensive and stop all thinking processes. Do you see what I am getting at?

Anyway, just take care of yourself and keep yourself out of jail? ;) Being wise as a sperpent and gentle as a dove is the way to go.

Pete02, you are exactly right in your assessment. Law enforcement has a 'they' and 'us' attitude. This is a point that
is drilled into their training. I have read a lot of their training manuals. I have to say Not All are of this mind set.
One in particular, I totally trust. He reads sott daily. He has accessed my library of books for the past two years.
right now he has; The active side of Infinanity, Darkness over Tibet, The other side of Deception, The Sociopath next
Door and High Strangeness. He freely admits that psychpaths are drawn to this sort of vocation. And has offered
many examples of behavior, how they protect each other when one of them breaks the law, etc. He does not share
his 'true opinions' with most peers. Influencing peers, imho, is a long process and must be like minded in certain respects
to begin with.
Neinna, I hope that going to jail statement was a joke referencing to more caution- I have this right? Thank You for
your words. A few days ago I testified against a child molester-- he has been convicted. This was my second go around
with this sort of situation. And two weeks from now will testify in court against a drug dealer. So jail ain't a good option, lol.

Yes, it was a joke, sort of....more a reminder to be careful. But, yes, you always have the choice of what you prefer to do. Hopefully, there are no others (partner, child, etc.) that would suffer because of something you do.

Like I said, take care of yourself. And good for you getting that child molester convicted.

Hi Kimber, I'm sure you're doing your best to handle these situations appropriately, and even more so since you've become a member of the forum. Your police officer friends sounds like a great exception to the rule and, with any luck, he'll have a positive effect on his coworkers merely because of who he is and his example. Just stay vigilant and remember the General Law and you'll be fine, I think. :)

I hear ya Kimber. I know one or two that also think this way and honestly I can't understand how they made it to retirement! It is somewhat comforting to know that some of them out there really are on our side too!

This kind of brings up another issue; what if all the people around you in a room are sott readers or follow the fourth way yet everyone is practicing external consideration. How will they network :(

You seem to be equating external consideration with utter silence. They aren't the same.

You're right anart, I was thinking of common waiting places like airport lobbies, hospitals and so forth where people just wait and don't talk much :)
