Can you name the UK town or city from the following clues. The 2 in bold I still have to get and it's really bugging me now :). First 2 are answered to give you the idea.

Males meadow = Mansfield
Mafia leader's sugar = Doncaster
Mr. Pitt's river crossing
Soup base harbour
Feed the fire
A grand old Duke
Water tub
Boat's passengers
The girl's rock
Ship's frame
Noah's latest Vessell
Paul's feathered friends town
Woggals in a muddle
Next to the fairytale brothers
Sprint with the maize
1066 battle location
Purple prince's pattern
Ball game
Next to the comic with an h
Moutain Warf
Go there for the silent treatment
It's calling in the song
It's the same as perusing
Layer opening
Straps for dogs

Mmmmm, don't think so. This one's a real puzzler....

Ah... Tavistock, Devon. Home of 'Tavistock Wharf' Arts and Entertainment Center. No?

edit: Ok, that's stretching it, doesn't explain the missing 'H'...

Sounds good, but not 100% on this one. I was trying to think of famous Pauls, wasn't Paul McCartney in a band called Wings, this might be the link to feathers. Not sure where hometown of Wings may be though, any Wings fans out there?

For "Next to the comic with an h" i've exhausted everything i can think of, from looking at what's next to comic in the dictionary to searching through comedians and comic book names, i can't even be sure i'm even reading the question how it was intended! Grrrrr :)
