Venezuela Oil: US Declares War on 'Narco-Terrorism'

Dunno, looking at what is going on from a broader perspective (not only with the Venezuela thing but many others in recent times including now that woman that was shot in the face in the US) it seems we are again on a verge of something? What exactly I don’t know.

And it might be another big point of choosing this or that way not only collectively but individually? At least partly another big phase of “separating the wheat from the chaff“ is coming? I’m also reminded of the C‘s warning that “the right“ has similar issues. Maybe it has also something to do with that and that now the choosing and separating happens at an even faster pace? Perhaps partly every person now will be tested even more: if they can hold onto and follow the most basic positive human characteristics? Everyone that doesn’t “becomes a dream in the past“?

It seems to me we are seriously entering end time vibes and it is probably up to every individual how that will pan out not only physically but spiritually, individually and collectively.

Big shifts seem to be well on the way.

This professor in the video has a interesting comparison. Current US and China "war" is like using ladder. Both needs ladder, US is on the top on the ladder and China below them. If this economic war continues, ladder will fall and who is on the top will have bigger damage.
BUCKLE UP: 2026 GEOPOLITICAL PREDICTIONS FROM A PROFESSOR WHO GOT TRUMP, IRAN, & UKRAINE RIGHT.Professor Jang uses game theory & history to forecast global shifts. His track record is uncanny. Here’s his alarming analysis for 2026.

THE GRAND GAME: US vs. CHINA The core of 2026 is the U.S.-China relationship. Everything else is secondary. Trump’s planned state visit to China in April is the pivotal event. The goal? A "grand bargain" to secure the US dollar's dominance. The U.S. strategy is contradictory: it seeks to coerce China while needing its cooperation. This cannot hold.

THE REAL WAR IS FINANCIAL The 1971 move off the gold standard created a system where China’s addiction to dollars stabilized the U.S. economy. Now, China is destabilizing that system by internationalizing the Yuan and creating gold-backed corridors. U.S. actions in Venezuela & the Middle East are not just about oil—they are about forcing China to buy resources using dollars, strangling its economy into submission.

MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION Professor Jang uses a powerful metaphor: two nations on a ladder over an abyss. If they climb together, they are stable. If one tries to climb too far ahead, both fall. The U.S. insistence on hegemony is that destabilizing force. China’s weapons are financial: it can restrict silver exports or dump U.S. treasuries, causing market havoc.

THE AMERICAN PONZI SCHEME The U.S. economy is built on bubbles: AI speculation, over-leveraged paper silver (300:1), and cryptocurrency. These bubbles are sustained only by oligarchic control and endless money printing. A self-correction could mean collapse—and potential civil war.“The American financial industry is one great Ponzi scheme.

”EUROPE: SLEEPWALKING INTO DISASTER The Ukraine war is settled in all but name. The front is stabilized. Yet, Europe’s elite, living in a bubble, will continue a suicidal policy. They cannot admit they were wrong. The endgame is Odessa. NATO will commit to defending it, Russia will besiege it, and European conscription will spark internal revolt.“Europe is a lumbering bureaucracy that cannot imagine its own demise.

”THE DECLINE OF EMPIRE: MICRO-MILITARISM The kidnapping of Maduro was a televised spectacle, not strategy. It humiliated a nation and turned the Global South against the U.S. It’s a sign of an empire in decline—sacrificing long-term strategy for short-term optics.“Trump thinks like a mafia boss, not a president. He lives in Trump World, where TV ratings equal victory.”APRIL 2026: THE SHOWDOWNAll roads lead to Trump’s visit to China. The goal is to negotiate from a position of strength, controlling the Western Hemisphere to dictate terms. The wildcard is China’s response. Will it cut a deal or choose a different path? The professor’s bet: A grand bargain is reached, but it merely delays the inevitable collapse of the current order.

THE BOTTOM LINEThe world is being pushed toward conflict by a declining power that confuses television ratings for statecraft, while its rivals hold the financial weapons to ensure mutual destruction.I highly recommend watching the entire interview ! -

Mean while, "emperor" wants fulfill his "God's" promise. "wonderful"

This is how the US Senate responds to the Trump administration's illegal act:

U.S. Senate passes Venezuela war powers resolution 52-47, backing limits to block Trump from further Venezuela military action without congressional authorization.

"Ignoring the law and the will of the people in this way is a serious crime," writes Conor Friedersdorf in The Atlantic.
The real question isn’t whether this action was legal; it is what to do about its illegality. Ignoring the law and the people’s will in this fashion is a high crime. Any Congress inclined to impeach and remove Trump from office over Venezuela would be within their rights. That outcome is unlikely unless Democrats win the midterms. But Congress should enforce its war power. Otherwise, presidents of both parties will keep launching wars of choice with no regard for the will of people or our representatives. And anti-war voters will be radicalized by the dearth of democratic means to effect change.

The process of releasing political prisoners has begun. The president of the Venezuelan Parliament and chief negotiator for Chavismo, Jorge Rodríguez, announced the “release” of “un número significativo de personas,” including Venezuelans and foreigners—without specifying the number or the conditions—as a “unilateral gesture” to “consolidate peace and peaceful coexistence” in the country.
“The Bolivarian government, together with state institutions, has decided to release a significant number of Venezuelan and foreign nationals, and these release processes are taking place as we speak,” Rodríguez said.

U.S. Senate moves forward with resolution to stop hostilities against Venezuela

In a vote with the support of ruling lawmakers, the Senate advances a resolution that obliges the president to seek authorization from Congress before new hostilities.

In a setback for the White House, the US Senate approved on Thursday a resolution that seeks to prohibit the use of the armed forces against Venezuela without the express authorization of Congress. The measure, promoted as a response to the aggressions against the sovereignty of Venezuela and the kidnapping of the constitutional president of that country, Nicolás Maduro, was approved by 52 votes to 47.

The vote constitutes a bipartisan critique of President Donald Trump's authority on foreign policy and a test of the Republican Party's loyalty. Five Republican senators - Rand Paul (Kentucky), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Susan Collins (Maine), Todd Young (Indiana) and Josh Hawley (Missouri) — broke ranks to join Democrats and support the resolution. Democratic Sen. John Fetterman (Pa.), who had previously shown reservations, also voted in favor.

The resolution, co-sponsored by Paul, demands that the president end U.S. hostilities against Venezuela and seeks to reaffirm Congress' constitutional role in declaring wars. Although it has no immediate binding force of law, its passage sends a powerful political message of legislative restraint and oversight.

The leader of the Democrats in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, said that Congress needs “answers about how long the intervention in Venezuela is going to last.”

"How many troops, how much money, are there clear limits?asked the senator, who added that the plan depends on the cooperation of Venezuelan officials of the Chavista government who “do not fundamentally support American interests.”

Senator Elizabeth Warren, from the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, expressed her dissatisfaction: “Oil company executives seem to know more about Trump's secret plan to ‘manage’ Venezuela than the American people.”

The United States has reportedly warned Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello about possible consequences if he does not collaborate with the political transition and the maintenance of order after the departure of Nicolás Maduro, according to sources cited by Reuters.

Washington is analyzing relying on figures from the current state apparatus to ensure stability, while also evaluating the cooperation of Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino, with the aim of promoting a controlled transition and moving towards elections without direct military intervention.

The US warns Diosdado Cabello: cooperate or you will be the next target, according to Reuters

U.S. officials are especially afraid that the interior minister - given his history of repression and his well-known rivalry with the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez - could act as a saboteur. Therefore, they are trying to force his cooperation while exploring ways to oust him from power and send him into exile, a source close to the matter said

The Threat about Diosdado Cabello

Through intermediaries, Washington has made it clear to Cabello that if he shows defiance he could face a fate similar to that of Maduro - captured in a US raid on January 3 and transferred to New York to be tried for narco-terrorism - or even see his life in danger, Reuters notes.

However, removing hair carries significant risks. It could motivate the colectivos (pro-government motorcycle groups) to take to the streets, unleashing precisely the chaos that Washington wants to avoid. Although, according to the analysis, their reaction could depend on whether they feel protected by other regime figures.

Along with Cabello, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López is also in the US crosshairs, accused by Washington of drug trafficking and with a millionaire reward on his head, according to two sources.

"It's still a police operation and we're not done yet," said a U.S. Justice Department official, who also requested anonymity.

Delcy Rodríguez: the fundamental axis

For now, Washington considers Delcy Rodríguez its best option to temporarily maintain power while it develops plans to govern post-Maduro Venezuela, a strategy that one source described as "still in the development phase."

Trump's advisers see in Rodriguez a technocrat willing to collaborate with the United States on transition and oil issues, according to people briefed on U.S. strategy. Although she and other senior officials loyal to Maduro have shown a mostly united front, it is unclear whether this unity will endure.

Among the demands of the United States are:

- Opening up the Venezuelan oil industry on favorable terms for U.S. companies
- Cracking down on drug trafficking
- Expelling Cuban security personnel
- Ending cooperation with Iran
- The United States expects to see progress in these areas "in a matter of weeks," according to the source.

The commitment to Maduro's collaborators

The Trump administration has accepted a classified CIA assessment that concludes Maduro's top aides would be best suited to lead the country on an interim basis, according to sources briefed on the matter.

This decision is based on the conviction that the Venezuelan opposition, led by the Nobel Peace Prize winner María Corina Machado, would be unable to maintain peace at a crucial moment. Trump is seeking enough stability to boost U.S. oil companies' access to Venezuela's vast reserves and avoid deploying troops on the ground.

U.S. officials decided to work temporarily with Maduro's allies out of fear that the country could plunge into chaos if they tried to force an immediate democratic transition, and that excluded members of the inner circle could foment a coup.

Pressure levers and co-option strategy

Beyond the military threats, the United States could use Rodriguez's financial assets, identified and protected in Qatar, as leverage, which could be confiscated, the source revealed.

The US authorities and their intermediaries are also trying to co-opt other senior Venezuelan officials and lower-level commanders to pave the way for a government that is related to Washington's interests.

Criticisms and uncertainties

Trump's promise to "run" Venezuela appears, for now, to be more of an aspiration to exert external control - or at least great influence - over the OPEC nation without deploying ground forces, a move that would be unpopular in the United States.

Trump has not offered a clear explanation of how Washington would oversee Venezuela following the largest U.S. intervention in Latin America since the 1989 invasion of Panama.

Critics have condemned it as neocolonialism and a violation of international law. Geoff Ramsey, a researcher at the Atlantic Council, contextualizes: "Maduro brought Cabello to take charge of crushing the opposition after the stolen elections."

The United Nations has determined that both the Sebin and the Dgcim, agencies under Cabello's influence, committed crimes against humanity as part of a state plan to crush dissent.

Venezuela's Communication Ministry did not respond to Reuters requests for comment. A senior Trump administration official limited himself to saying in a statement: "The president refers to exercising maximum influence over the elements that remain in Venezuela" to guarantee cooperation on migration, drugs, oil and "what is right for the Venezuelan people."

It is a strange time. In recent years, I still had the feeling that I could logically categorize events because there were high probabilities. Nowadays, I have the sense that there is no longer any logic. It feels as if time is compressed and events destroy the picture that has just been gained minute by minute. I believe that, from the perspective of those responsible, there is a strategy based on secret agreements and self-interests that run counter to those agreements. Added to this is the influence of the Wave, which causes maximum chaos. For months, many people have been experiencing inner restlessness, the dissolution of old structures in families, and the collapse of their own systems and belief systems. Without knowledge of spiritual topics and insufficient understanding, this leads to fear and breakdowns. Global chaos amplifies this to a great extent. I very often read that Germans are no longer recognizable – depressive, negative, and full of fear. Here, the strategy of manipulation seems to be working completely. At the same time, I have the feeling of an awakening that is based not on knowledge but purely on logic. When our Chancellor does not appear in Berlin in an absolute emergency situation, donates our emergency power generators to Ukraine, and at the same time announces on television that our priority is the security of Europe and Ukraine – then people wake up, as a high level of anger is already palpable. A different kind of black-and-white thinking is now palpable – it is not about the economy, but about the visible and tangible way in which the value of human beings has sunk so low. It becomes visible how detached, indifferent, and narcissistic politics has become toward the people. Such events are needed to change personal attitudes. People will rise up when the pressure becomes a little stronger – the pressure cooker will explode in all countries.
