Venezuela Oil: US Declares War on 'Narco-Terrorism'

Nothing like some (SELF INFLICTED) "great replacement theory" to start off the year. Lol

So here's the narrative, and it's hilarious.

It wasn't an invasion, not a war, not even a military skirmish.

It was just the execution of an arrest warrant. And the bombs and missiles fired were to protect those US personnel executing the arrest warrant.

All legal, see?

Seems they back-engeneered the operation from the narrative.

And people braging online about how clean and quick it was, seems like they went for the american pride angle also.
kinda gross

Yes, it was similar to what happened in Panama with Noriega, who was accused of crimes related to drug trafficking and money laundering with Colombian cartels, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio also makes this clear:
Upwards of 90% of the drugs come from Colombia and Mexico if im not mistaken. But people will run in circles around that narrative.

Maybe the real deal in Venezuela was that China and Russia would not interfere with the removal of Maduro in exchange for the US' non-interference in the removal of the govts. in Taipei and Kiev.
The same thoughts came to my mind as soon as I read about this attack this morning.
From my perspective, there are two possible scenarios:
  • The U.S. carried out a fast, precise operation that completely surprised Venezuela, and also Russia and China, which I find unlikely.
  • Alternatively, this was part of a broader agreement or understanding between the U.S., Russia, and China.
If the second scenario is true, could Russia then do the same in Ukraine and effectively end the war within days? Arresting Zelenski or eliminating him will make a big global impact. Could China do the same in Taipei?

Such actions would clearly define the spheres of influence of the three major superpowers in an emerging multipolar world. I find it hard to believe that Chinese and Russian intelligence services had no prior knowledge of this operation.

For now, we will have to see how the situation develops.

If there was a trilateral agreement of some sort, which seems likely, I wonder why China sent a delegation to visit Maduro just hours before the attack.

Maybe it was a message by China to the US not to overstep their reach or do anything beyond what was agreed for Maduro’s removal?

From what we have seen so far, apart from Maduro's alleged arrest, there have been no reports of the arrest of any other important figures in the Venezuelan government to further legitimize the destruction of the “narco-dictatorship,” (Diosdado Cabello was seen calling for calm among the population.) unlike what happened in Syria.

From what we can see, there has been no attempt at a response from Venezuela so far, so perhaps this matter has already been discussed.

Rumors circulated in Russian Ukrainian armchair-general "military-speculator" circles - just the other day - that:

1. Russia was preparing for large scale Oreshnik strikes preparing missile stations in key Russian cities close to the front of Ukraine together with all kinds of other serious missile strikes for some unspecified, unheard of military operation.

2.
Organized by EU / The West: the comeback and installation as president of Ukraine of Valerii Fedorovych Zaluzhnyi
(born 8 July 1973) is a Ukrainian four-star general and diplomat who is currently serving as Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom. He served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 27 July 2021 until 8 February 2024.

Trump's Exit Ramp from Ukraine

Russia was rumored and speculated for a long time for wanting to provide for Trump an Exit Ramp from Ukraine. This is a successful exit ramp, no?

1. Trump allowed to capture Maduro. The World's Eyes is now on Trump.

2. Using the media chaos China swoops into Taiwan, which was very much announced by Xi:
Chinese President Xi vows ‘unstoppable’ reunification with Taiwan — RT World News

3. Amids media chaos Russia swoops into Kiev. Arrests Zelensky. Initiates regime change.

Chessboard re-arranged.

Sources close to Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirm 11 key locations that were targeted for bombing by the US military.
• La Carlota disabled and bombed.
• Mountain barracks in Catia La Mar disabled and bombed.
• Federal Legislative Palace in Caracas bombed.
• Fuerte Tiuna bombed.
• Airport in El Hatillo attacked.
• F-16 Base No. 3 in Barquisimeto bombed.
• Private airport in Caracas (Charallave) bombed and disabled.
• Defense plan activated in Miraflores.
• Areas of Caracas, Santa Mónica, Fuerte Tiuna, Los Teques, 23 de Enero, and the entire south of Caracas without electricity.
• Attacks in the Historic Center of Caracas.
• Military helicopter base in Higuerote disabled and bombed.

According to statements made by Diosdado Cabello after Maduro's capture, it was revealed that during the bombing, “bombs fell on buildings with civilians inside,” and he accused international organizations of being complicit “in the murder of civilians.”
Are you, the global organizations and agencies, going to make public your complicity in the invasion, in the killing of civilians, in the bombing of buildings and places inhabited by civilians? Are international organizations going to be complicit in this massacre?“ he asked. Cabello said that the United States had ‘partially’ achieved its objective because the people did not rise up in ”uncontrolled" protest.

If anything, the Peace President just crossed his own line, and even as we were already in Clown-World™, this just confirms that regime-change-r-US is back at business as usual, following the steps of Dubya and the rest of the Neocon gang. The National Security Strategy doc of November 2025 outlines clearly that Latin America is and will remain the backyard.

Maduro's transfer to New York reported

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who was captured on Saturday by US forces during the attack on the South American country, is being transferred to New York City, according to ABC News sources.
Maduro will presumably remain there, held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial.
Previously, US Attorney General Pamela Bondi said that the Venezuelan president and his wife, Cilia Flores, who was also captured, “will soon face the wrath of US justice on US soil and in US courts.”

Vance confirms that Delcy Rodríguez is in Russia

According to the Spanish news La Sexta, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez is in Russia, according to US Vice President J. D. Vance, after President Donald Trump announced that Maduro had been captured by US forces.
Meanwhile, Delcy's brother, Jorge Rodríguez, who presides over the National Assembly, is in Caracas, according to sources familiar with his whereabouts.

If this news is indeed true, we could speculate as to who revealed Maduro's location.
