Venezuela Situation: US Declares War on 'Narco-Terrorism'

Putin and Maduro seal treaty on strategic cooperation and mutual support

This meeting aimed to deepen the strategic partnership between the two nations, expanding the exchange in areas of common interest, including military, economic, energy, technological and political issues.

In the field of security, the treaty contemplates military-technical cooperation between Russia and Venezuela, with the purpose of strengthening the defensive capabilities of both countries. The text indicates that these actions will be aimed at guaranteeing stability and sovereignty in the face of external threats.

A Russian transport plane with unspecified cargo lands in Venezuela.

An Il-76 can carry up to 50 tons of cargo or up to 200 people. Such aircraft are known to have transported small arms, military supplies and even mercenaries on behalf of Russia in the past. Larger deliveries, such as an S-400 air defense system, would likely require several trips.

Aviacon Zitotrans, operator of the Ilyushin, has a fleet of six transport aircraft and is under sanctions from the United States, Canada and Ukraine for its ties to the Russian military. It has delivered military equipment such as rockets, warheads and helicopter parts worldwide, including regions where the Wagner mercenary group has been active.

The Wagner Group, formerly headed by Yevgeny Prigozhin, has been a key tool used by Russian President Vladimir Putin to expand his country's global geopolitical reach and has been particularly active in Africa, with reports of some activity in Latin America. After the mutiny of the group in 2023, it was absorbed into the Russian army proper, and its African operations became the Russian African Corps.

and that's it.

Yes.

Since the time of Chavez, a lot of military armament has been updated, a lot of actualization. The problem is that since Venezuela is not a country that lives by war, there is little confidence in defense against a country that has more technology and are experienced murderers.

It doesn't matter how much Russian military technology it possesses. It will not be enough to face so many areas against 3 countries not counting Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador and any other vulture.

If Petro and Lula are removed from the middle, Venezuela will be surrounded and regime change will take place. Personally, I prefer that the government makes the decision to resign and avoid "unnecessary" mortality.

Venezuela's air defenses are the most advanced in Latin America. They would be the first target if the U.S. attacks

In September, Caracas showed a video of one of its Su-30s of the 13th Fighter Air Group “Leones”, armed with a Kh-31 “Krypton” anti-ship air-to-surface missile, also of Russian manufacture.

On the other hand, among its many anti-aircraft missile systems, the S-300, the Buk and the Pechora stand out, all of Russian manufacture and designed to attack targets at different altitudes and distances, which the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) calls “Multilayer Aerospace Defense”.

In addition, Venezuela claims to have 5,000 Igla-S portable missiles — also Russian —, operated by a single person and with the ability to shoot down targets at low altitude and short distance.

The S-300VM that Venezuela currently has has a maximum range of 200 kilometers, at a maximum altitude of 30 kilometers. They are the most capable that the country has, and they can shoot down airplanes, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.

Meanwhile, the Buk-M2E can attack targets at a maximum distance of about 40 kilometers, at an altitude of 25 kilometers.

Trinidad and Tobago forces on alert for Venezuelan crisis.

The military high command ordered all soldiers to return to their barracks, because they were under "maximum alert."

"High Alert: Effective immediately, the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Forces (TTDF) is on ALERT LEVEL ONE. All members must report to their respective bases," the message sent by the armed forces to all officers reads. The police canceled "all permits," according to messages seen by the AFP agency and local press outlets.

For its part, the EFE news agency reported that top commanders held closed-door meetings for several hours on Friday, while all the soldiers were ordered to return to their bases.

Today, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, warned that its neighboring countries are the ones that would suffer "the most regrettable consequences of an intervention" by the United States.

Colombian senator ratified categorical support for Venezuela.

The Colombian senator, Jahel Quiroga Carrillo, ratified the categorical support of the New Granada government to the government of President Nicolás Maduro, after both nations suffer the attacks of the American empire.

"Here is a message from the government of Gustavo Petro, who is also with you. We are here with all our affection and fraternity, you are not alone, we are the people of Colombia who have also suffered the onslaughts of repression and the Gringos all their lives," said Quiroga Carrillo during his speech at the Popular Assembly in Miranda state.

He also stressed that the main task "is to unite the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, that is our greatest challenge."

"What you are doing is historical and a reference for all of us. How much we would also like to get to work hand in hand with the public forces, but the public forces, their leaders, their hierarchy, studied at the School of the Americas and that marks a lot," he said and added that the Government of President Gustavo Petro has carried out a purification work of the organism to humanize it.

Faced with this proposal, Quiroga Carrillo denounced that there is a campaign to assassinate the New Granada president, by putting him on a "Clinton list, which is a civil death."

"What the public authorities have not done there against our government and the government has privileged people in need, that option has cost Colombia very dearly," he said.
Yes! a "greatest challenge".

Trump says he is not considering a military attack in Venezuela.

The President of the United States denies the reports that point to an imminent operation.

”No," U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One heading to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday, and they asked him how much truth there was in two publications in the last few hours that claimed that a U.S. military operation in Venezuela is imminent. Is it true that Trump has decided to order that attack? "No, it's not true”" he said, in a more laconic style than usual.
Of course... the orange contradiction in person. "We will not attack, but the CIA has orders to do so."

There is so much thats been posted here I don't know if this has been touched on or not. A deep dive on Columbia and Venezuela's take down of cartels and a international corporation. He speculates about a plan where Trump and the presidents are working together to bring down these international crime operations which may or not be true but good info none the less.
Patrick Byrne down voted this post which is a bit of a mystery as well as Gen Flynn saying he's for Machado. Since these 2 work in the realm of spooks I don't take what they say at face value.

and have been working with President Trump since his first term to bring down the whole transnational system.

If he has no plans to invade Venezuela militarily, what is the "open window" and "neglect" through which the opportunity to assassinate Maduro will "enter"? The opinion matrix that is being handled is "We are not going to inviadir Venezuela, we are going for the major boss of the drug trafficking in Venezuela." oh! OK! , and how do you plan to get to Maduro without going "over" or "between" Venezuela? it's stupid but alarming.

But, this is very striking what Trump says.

“How can I answer a question like that? Are there plans for an attack in Venezuela? Who would say that? Assuming there were, would I honestly tell you? Yes, we have plans. We have very secret plans he commented with a critical tone towards the reporters who insisted on the issue.

From the inside, no doubt, just as Chavez was assassinated.

The other option is to throw a missile at him for some "Military" reason and tell any lie and voila, a dead king, a new king.

Although personally, the first option has always seemed the most possible to me.

Trump claims that Nicolás Maduro's days in power are numbered.

US President Donald Trump said he believes that the days of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro are numbered, although he denied that his country is preparing for a war with Venezuela.

The remarks came during an interview with CBS' 60 Minutes on Sunday.

Asked by journalist Norah O'Donnell whether Washington is contemplating a military intervention, Trump replied bluntly: "I doubt it. I don't think so,” and added that “they have treated us very badly,” referring to what he described as problems related to drug trafficking and illegal migration from Venezuela to the United States.

A deep dive on Columbia and Venezuela's take down of cartels and a international corporation.

Yes, it seems that they are uniting now, but in "silence" but not only for that work against drug trafficking, which is not that it has not been done for a long time, but that they were doing just maintaining the relevant communication and nothing more. Yesterday I was watching a video where apparently they are also conducting joint military maneuvers on their borders but I have not found any news about it.

The video I was watching, the YouTuber was watching news in China and Russia about Venezuela that apparently are not seen throughout Latin America and that caught my attention because the pages of the government of Venezuela and others, which necessarily does not have to be from the government, publish absolutely everything about the military advances due to these current circumstances. But it seems that that guy, I couldn't find any news about it.

Currently only some communication media can use the X platform, I can use it only with VPN. Which seems absurd to me because that doesn't block misinformation but it does keep people outdated and more exposed to fake news by such trivial websites as instagram and tiktok, especially open to videos manipulated with AI.

What I know is that there is a demonstration in support and a call to work together, news that I already published in the previous post. It should be expected that whatever they are doing, they will do it without attracting much attention as well.

"I don't defend Maduro, let alone an invasion": Petro responds to criticism for rejecting US maneuvers in the Caribbean.

"I am not a friend of the policies that are being implemented in the government of Venezuela because I do not recognize it. I'm not going there. But I don't agree with violent actions," the president said two weeks ago.

I do not defend Maduro, I did not recognize his election, but I still defend an invasion of Bolivar's homeland, that would be the ultimate betrayal of the history and the future of all Latin America and the Caribbean.

Well it's a double standard ideal however you see it. It doesn't have to matter to him the way Chavez and Maduro make the "revolution" that's not his problem and in that insitence besides joining Lula to request the voting tickets as if it affected them in something personal, it seems that he is unconscious that with that way of thinking, it just makes it easier for the US to play the game.To isolate Venezuela, to position Maduro as illegitimate and ultimately affect the Venezuelan population.

He is so stubborn that he does not see something so obvious and if he sees it, then there "if it is a problem that only Venezuelans should solve." Again, the double standard, really, if it doesn't help, it doesn't get in the way either.

And I'm not wrong about it, apparently, because the psychopathic side knows how to use it in favor of this double standard and contradiction:
Petro's double stance: He does not recognize Maduro, but criticizes Machado

Although the Petro government did not officially recognize Maduro as the winner of the 2024 elections, it attended his inauguration and has continued to enter into trade agreements with the regime. In the same way, the president has maintained a critical tone with the opposition leader María Corina Machado.

If he does not recognize the current government, then he must recognize the democratic government of Maria Corina, Egmundo, Guaido, Capriles, Leopoldo, etc.

If he is not going to take sides, method that does not work with EE.UU and that we have seen enough and we are seeing the actions to be taken on behalf of these psychopaths when they do not accept a "No" as an answer, then it would be better and very helpful to shut up so that they do not keep spraying gasoline for not controlling their impulsivity and the syndrome of the savior of the world and pollution.

It's ironic! Petro doesn't want anything with Maduro but they still put him together with Maduro as a drug trafficker and he gets attacked... what I always tend to think, "They defend together or perish together."

The worst always has to happen for them to take the right action, even if they don't like the decision to be made. I hope that Petro will become aware soon and it will not be the "First success" of the EE.U, a Trojan horse or the last one to turn off the light.

I am sorry for the double post, I don't mean to add noise, but this seems pertinent.

What I found really interesting about that idea of dollarization of Argentina, is that the other country they were considering was Venezuela. As reported by RT. Which goes to show the real motivation behind all the shenanigans in the Caribbean.

I found it really interesting because, who would ever consider that Venezuela would on their own decide that "hey, let's just adopt the US dollar!". FT was alluding to over the weekend, that there were plans and candidates for an expansion on the adoption of the US dollar, and Venezuela was named as such, which makes it really transparent.

"hey, let's just adopt the US dollar!".

It is that this is precisely the wrong approach in this whole issue of dollarization. There has never been a vote or consultation of any kind to give entry to the dollar here.

On the contrary, they injected the country with inflation and the Venezuelan opposition came out shouting "dollarization to combat inflation, this country needs dollars" and like a virus, it was the thinking adopted by the ignorant population. For some reason there began to be more dollars on the street, when there is supposed to be an exchange control, in all types of shops, small medium and large, rich and those who sit on a street corner to sell vegetables, changed their prices in dollars and there was no support from the government to curb that price out of control, nor has there been today yet.

They tried some things, but who was in front and who was in front of the television cameras announced that from a certain day, you could start using the dollar, but not only the dollar, also Chinese and Russian currency. Who were these "geniuses"? this pair of thieves who were scamming the country for more than 10 years:

Why were they in the most important positions in the country's economy? because the government does not follow up on anything and in order not to stain its "zero corruption" garments, it prefers to remain silent.

This is not new, and it was a strategy to put the dollar very carefully so that society will begin to have false expectations of economic improvement. It is absolutely worse today.

Only the green paper is working its magic. As long as people have dollars, the price of things won't matter and the government knows it, that's a time bomb that it can't disarm anymore, just increase the detonation time by "legally" maintaining the central bank's dollar rate a few less dollars.

Central bank dollar cup that not all traders respect. Today the parallel dollar is at $200, and there are merchants who already sell at $300 and so, everyone puts the price they want on things.

How does the government expect to cover up that large uncovered flank? i doubt I have a choice, over 20 years and they have never had anything feasible about it. It has only been contradicted.

Venezuela will stop using the dollar as a reference currency in international transfers

The Maduro government will prioritize the euro “and other convertible currencies" in foreign exchange operations.

The measure that was announced more than a year ago as a response to the financial sanctions imposed by the United States on Venezuelan officials and institutions
Has it had any positive impact on people's pocketbooks? No.

It is not to diminish the actions of the government, but if there is something that is unique as a reference for people how well or how bad the economy of their country is, it is when they go to buy food and each time they have to deprive themselves of buying eggs today, meat tomorrow, tomato the day after, and so on.

Have you seen this contradictory video of Maduro? Years of revolution demonizing the dollar and here it says that dollarization is a blessing. It says here that dollarization "is an escape valve, thank God it exists!".

And that's why we are in this situation where not even the "experts" in analysis know the root reason of all this silly problem and waste their time trying to put the round and fat situation of Venezuela in their square conclusions talking about oil economy or just comparing social works of "before the revolution and after the revolution" or just pointing out as guilty "the blockade".

Obviously, there is a big difference "before and after" Chavez, the one who does not want to see him and the one who cannot see him, is already something else. Access to such basic information can be found and is easy to understand. But this revolution has also changed and not 100% positivity and that's what they don't want to face.

For me there is no worse damage than what has been done internally. Bad decisions, lack of knowledge, lack of decision in front of their corrupt friends and we are simply exposed now.

That's why my best reference is Argentina, here people are not going to want a left to return ever again, no matter how bad, that's the best reflection.

Because depending on a bag to be able to complete the monthly meal is exhausting! so basic, without ideologies or colors. That's why the Latino wants to be more Yankee. Without much understanding or intelligence about economics or politics. People want to have access to their stuff. When Chávez started talking about Coca Cola brands as something to combat, the thought was simple, "I like coca cola, I don't care if I get cancer, I like it, period, I don't want anyone to change my tastes".

I know I'm leaving a lot of things out, but the left in their "vision of freedom" unconsciously imposes a way of living on their "good intentions" and look at all the hell that is unleashed for touching those things. How can there be no chaos that can be exploited for something so simple? Example of recent social media blocking.

And to that wear and tear is that the dollar has generated a great dependence in society. To touch the dollar today is to touch people's pockets and the government has no other option but to keep stretching the fuse of that bomb as far as it can.

The dollar today here is just another wallet where $1 serves put a lot of Bs bills, the price is still a vulgarity. Poor of those who can not get enough dollars but the most interesting thing is that the crime rate has not shot up and that says a lot. Well, personal fact, many of the antisocial people who live in my area, have been put to work with dignity.

It is very interesting what happens inside the country while from outside they only see "left, right, dollar, dictatorship and freedom".

an expansion on the adoption of the US dollar,

The parallel dollar is a pot of gold. "You'll have all this if you use the dollar."

It's the best reference that comes to mind because that's how miraculous they have shown it, in a certain way it has worked and people rushed to take it without thinking much. And in a country that only looks to the north aspiring to have everything "good" that they have, what did they expect to happen?.

This video is an example, they were taking too long to use Argentina as an example to start getting excited about those who have had enough, those who just want "everything to get better no matter what but get better soon, now" and the usual radicals:

"If Argentina could, Venezuela can too”

They create the need through inflation, the government of the day is blamed and they offer the solution to the misery through the dollar and the government has no measures to support its currency and never thought about it because neither the deals with Russia nor China have helped significantly.

They have only been "fever cloths" to combat the inflationary fever that is only going up. If there is no treatment/reinforcement appropriate to the measures they take or international treaties they sign, the patient will obviously get worse.

No "expert" talks about the mentality of society in that aspect as "weakness" when they dare to talk about a "before and after" to understand why they fall so easily before something that should be "obvious". It even seems like a long-term strategy and that's scary just thinking about it.

Will Trump send troops to Mexico? This is known about the American plan.

Two high-ranking former Republican officials reveal that elite troops are training for foot operations and dismantling the synthetic drug infrastructure in Mexican territory.

What is the mission of U.S. troops in Mexico?

According to former US officials, the armed incursion seeks to hit the targets of crime, priorities for the Trump administration, and is that so far the Republican has been focused on Venezuela.

“The mission currently being planned would be a break with previous US administrations, which have quietly deployed CIA, military teams to support local police and army units fighting the cartels," the outlet notes.

Also, the former officials revealed that if the mission gets the green light, the Trump administration plans to keep secret, and not publicize the actions associated with it, as it has done with the recent bombings of the narcolanchas.

“The Trump administration is committed to using a whole-of-government approach to address the threats the cartels pose to American citizens,” the sources stated.

Meanwhile, last February, the US State Department designated six Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, thus giving powers to spy agencies and military units to carry out covert operations.

The same pattern, Trump splashing around the Caribbean.

"This day will always be remembered as the day I almost put an end to all the "drug trafficking" in the Caribbean!".
