Well, Guile & 987baz, my curiosity was stirred so I listened and read the background. Thanks for giving me something to learn about. I think I am more visually oriented so I found this version:

Miles Davis - So What talent wins in the end...

MSM lies even about "Fake News". I love watching them take smoke breaks while the others play their parts.

"So What" :cool2:

found this amazing French singer/song writer on bandcamp

Rosie Valland - Noyer

Wow, I've never seen a capo used on a bass like that (it even matches the red). She's really a unique singer. What a nice variety from Miles Davis to a French girl singing and playing bass.

She reminds me of Tal Wilkenfeld.

Indeed, that's what I love about this thread always something new to listen too :)

Thanks for the Tal Wilkenfeld clip, sounds pretty cool :cool2:

Another cool artist I found on bandcamp

The Lake Poets - YOUR FACE

Today I found out that part of this video, a war scenes, was recreated at Croatian town Karlovac that was hardly damaged during the last war in 90s, and not that MJ took that reference of destruction of Yugoslavia to show "white people evil mess", but also that is a little town on 4 rivers just near Zagreb where Nikola Tesla went to high school and where he for the first time realize that he is life work is to follow the path of electricity and physics .... there was fantastic scientific cabinet of 19ct with a good professor who was Tesla inspiration to follow his visionary path ... and today after visiting the place again, and watching this video, and knowing that actually most of Tesla technological wonders are becoming reality, but on a quite scary and non human way ... it is inspiring to see meta language of human cosmic connections in this pop song from 1995 ...

"Earth Song"

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores

I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far

Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can't even breathe
(What about us)
What about apathy
(What about us)
I need you
(What about us)
What about nature's worth
(Ooo, ooo)
It's our planet's womb
(What about us)
What about animals
(What about it)
We've turned kingdoms to dust
(What about us)
What about elephants
(What about us)
Have we lost their trust
(What about us)
What about crying whales
(What about us)
We're ravaging the seas
(What about us)
What about forest trails
(Ooo, ooo)
Burnt despite our pleas
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
Torn apart by creed
(What about us)
What about the common man
(What about us)
Can't we set him free
(What about us)
What about children dying
(What about us)
Can't you hear them cry
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
(Ooo, ooo)
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about babies
(What about it)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
(What about us)
What about the man
(What about us)
What about the crying man
(What about us)
What about Abraham
(What about us)
What about death again
(Ooo, ooo)
Do we give a damn

It's been a long while, but I just gotta post this song to you all : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NHq6JWOqi0
It's called Sign Of The Times (!) and it's lyrics, I feel it is connected to this forum somehow. The singer may be unknown to the majority of us, except maybe Galatea (?) but I like him, and I feel he's just a different human being altogether. Thank you all.
