Interesting range of sounds there between Slayer and Soca Antillana.

I used to work in Venezuela, so the sound I hear in Soca Antillana is familiar to me, though I did not know them then. Then I was too busy working, but not so much that on Saturdays we didn't go dancing and drink Cuba Libres.

This song is cute and perfect as can be, completely timeless and I find in their vocal tone a good energy and optimism a little cynical maybe... for me there is no melancholy or that "grunge" sadness but just the opposite. I love the suggestion of slow dancing with this song much more than with the experimental Real Hero.

"Real Hero" in my opinion could be danced to but only with the right person. In the average club today, NO WAY :lol:
 
I saw a plant tiktok compilation video and luckily the poster had credited the songs he used. So I tracked these songs down. The first two are covers and the last is from the Disney movie Cinderella. I really like the slow lullaby jazz style, and think it would be fun to play on guitar.

Once I used kevin coynes music for speeding me up when jogging. this title came to my mind today because of the refrain: "It is funny that the grammophon never seems to play when you're down". I had some weeks where my mood was not on top and "the grammophon" did'nt play! :rotfl: :lol:

 
The song is rather old (2007) but I’ve heard it just recently and it’s kinda get stuck in my head...very up-to-date actually
