What are you listening to?

Every now and again I find on YT some random piece of eccentric brilliance. The vid I link below features Stevie Wonder, Bernie Worrell and more just jamming on a Moog Sub Phatty synth at a trade show. It's more than just a wee demo for the punters, you can tell the guys have a deep love for the particular sound of a Moog synth. If I had enough money I would buy a Moog synth, but alas they are very pricey and just out of my range. Bob Moog defined the future of electronic music with his innovations from the 50's up to this very day. He was truly a genius.

Fabulous. Gave me goosebumps. How on earth does he keep them all on the same page?
Hum, did brought tears to my eyes on my side . Now i'm trying to understand "why ?"
I wonder if it has something to see with the gap that exist between what is happening right now on our world we live in from day to day and this demonstration of ... of what ? of human harmony, of a temporary vibration of many souls on the same wavelength ... a kind of a preview of the "strenght" or the power that an STO group can achieve ? I don't know. Hard to comment in fact, but indeed, this simple video gives off a beautiful and powerful energy. Thanks for the share !

Computer Love, by German electro pioneers Kraftwerk. Exquisitely composed song redolent of the ennui and anomie of modern society. Very prescient, it has a kind of sad beauty. It encapsulates how I've felt on numerous occasions. that failure to truly connect with another person.

Also loving Trans Europe Express at the moment. Just amazing. They left a legacy of super albums for about ten years or so. When I first bought this record in 1997 I was entranced, I could hear it in my mind as I tried to go to sleep. I was mainly into rock music at this time so this record was quite a departure from the norm for me. Completely broadened my horizons about what was possible with music in the expanded present we all search for. they keep it simple and rock solid, never over fussy.
