What are you listening to?

A few choice cuts from Rage's last studio album. Very appropriate music to soundtrack our dystopian age. They fuse the heaviness of Black Sabbath with the lyrical acuity of Public Enemy.

Back to a soothing balm after the ferocity of Rage. This track isn't on any of Dead Can Dance's studio albums to my knowledge, only on a "best of", so enjoy of you're a fan of the duo.

Rage Against The Machine rocking hard with intellectual vigour. How I wish these guys were still creating new music. At least we have 4 albums of great work. It's the combination of hard rock with defiant lyrics.

David Jon Gilmour guitarist, singer and songwriter who is a member of the rock band Pink Floyd. I was looking for Close to you and Superstar covers on YT and found the girl singer with the harp on a completely different level than even the best amateur singers on YT covering the Carpenters songs from the latest Joker movie. His guitar play sounded strangely familiar, so I looked him up. My GOD! Listen to this recounting the 2020-2023 Plandemic, the Lockdowns, government oppression from the civilians perspective. A herd of Holy Cows and Jesus!! WOW!!

From David Gilmour's 'Luck and Strange' album:

I link Rage Against The Machine's music for musical strength and those funky guitar tones rich in texture to Asian Dub Fundation who are although they are more ethnical” to me seem similar in their musical strength but more fun if you will.

Yeah, ADF are great! They combine many genres, and I was surprised to find they're still going strong today, which is good to know.
