What happened, am I going nuts?

I'm dead sure I posted in several threads today and now(just got home, long day) when I'm cathing up on the forum posts they're just not there . . . !

So I naturally check my profile and latest posts... Last post yesterday!
So I recapitulate and try to remember forumites in the same threads i posted in and check them in same manner... Their posts weren't there either!

So my question is *the usual cussing word at situations like this*?! Did I just imagine my hole day?

I'm pretty sure I didn't break a forum rule... other than being noisy at times :-[

nah your not , my post is gone too , looks like forum admins brought databse from backup hence lost posts i assume

Neither of you are going nuts! After some discussion, we decided to remove topics started by a recent new member, to the moderators board and ban that member. Your replies happen to be among the removed topics. :)

No, and there is not really any reason to discuss that.

Well, now I'm piqued. I think it was "Crusading humberdink", am I right? If so Why(apart from the obvious preaching part)?

Again, this is something that is best left to moderators. Their is no reason to discuss this on the open forum.

Maybe my redacted posts don't amount to much and I don't "long" to have them back either, but could I please have a better explanation than the one above which in my ears sound like "move along folks nuthin' to see here"...?

... And while I'm at it, whats this confusion about their and there? Many a english speaking forumite seem to have this problem. It confuses me too, especially when I see it written by one native to the language.

I don't know the reasons behind this, and i don't speak on behalf of the moderators. But since you have been around here for some time now, maybe you should be more aware of the delicate balance they have to maintain, one between allowing the truth to be seen and spoken while filtering what might provide an excuse for an attack on this forum and it's members. And such an "attack" is something that has been attempted in the past, fortunately with little success. So, overall they have done a great job navigating this ship in these "dangerous waters" so far, and i think they deserve more trust when they say something that. Don't you? ;)
There is good, there is evil and there is each individual situation that dictates which is which. You know this forum, and the people who run it well enough. Practice some discernment on this... Or this is my opinion at least. Take care.

One really has to be careful to distinguish between an "authority" and a reflective network.

Asking questions of the latter is always welcomed.

Yes, You are right and I do trust(the mods), but in this particular case I don't trust my trustin' or something like that... curiosity disguised?

So, am I just nosy or reflective? :/

That's up to you to sort out, isn't it?

Yes for the most part but it can't be done without mirroring, so:

My post #6 was pure curiosity(in retrospect) => doesn't need to be answered, IMO, in any way(unless somebody feel they must :scared:.)
My post #9 was not curiosity(IMO) => needs a better answer(IMO). Here's where the mods have to decide...
