First of all, what is the MoD doing there, starting on the eve of the Embraer crash? Why not MFA? What's the official reason given to the Russian people if there is any?
On 23 August night, Rybar commented on EP's "empire":
Russia may renegotiate some business contracts, but they were tied with military/security service in exchange. Is RF going to send their troops to Africa when they are needed much closer? I wouldn't count much on Shoigu's Redut PMC even if they manage to recruit some of former Wagner fighters, something that they tried since long ago. Many questions, very few answers. The problem is that Evgeny Viktorovich's entire empire was built on him and his personal connections and contacts. Without him and his charisma, without Utkin, who was the flesh and blood of the Orchestra's spirit (he was on the same plane), there is a crushing possibility that what Evgeny Viktorovich has built and suffered for, will crumble. And all Russia's ambitions in Africa will crumble as a result of which Africa will plunge back into hopeless and hopeless darkness with the Western stranglehold around its neck. Russia's position in the Middle East will also weaken.
