To better understand Serbia its good to know that there are two fractions among Serbs in Serbia, and thats like that more than two hundred years now. And thats for Serbs in Serbia, Serbs outside Serbia are different.
First fraction, bigger one, is nationalistic, but not only that, its nationalistic and imperialistic. That fraction are proud to be orthodox christians and lean towards Russia. As British were imperialistic and thought that they bring the civilisation everywhere on Earth, Serbs thought that their job is to liberate all around them. No mater if you don't want to be, or you think there is no need, you will be liberated, because Serbs think that you deserve to be free like them and you are bad if you don't want to be free.
The second fraction, much smaller, is intellectual and artistic. They too are very proud to be orthodox christians, but lean mostly towards the West. They are not that imperialistic, and think there is no need to liberate anyone.
This is very simplified and with just one, the most obvious, fact as an example.
The both work for Serbia. The first is the engine, the energy, and the second is the head, the lead. If it is not like that you get wars like in the nineties, or dissolution of the organized statehood later. Balance is good for Serbia and countries around Serbia.
That balance was disrupted because of the influence of communism on serbian intellectuals, and coming to place in last couple of years (ironically as collateral effect of Vutchich's actions). That's why it is not important is this now is colored revolution or not. Any foreign force that take the power in Serbia, can only have it so far, until both fractions unites (what Vutchich in his psychopathic oblivion accidentally did).
