Where to Start?

Magnesium supplementation never brought me any real benefits, but then I discovered Magnesium Chloride. To illustrate this process better, I wrote a poem:

(Magnesium thread: http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=2354.15 )

MAGNESIUM

THE DOGTUR GAVE ME MAGNESIUM TO TAKE
AS MY BODY WAS LACKING IN THIS MINERAL OF LATE
REGULAR AS CLOCKWORK, I TOOK IT EACH DAY
BUT AFTER A MONTH, THERE WAS NOTHING TO SAY EXCEPT
IT DIDN’T WORK

IT WAS A SULPHATE, YOU SEE
MAGNESIUM SULPHATE DOESN’T DO IT FOR ME

SO I PICKED UP SOME CAPS OF ANOTHER KIND
THIS TIME A CITRATE, AN ASPARTATE AND AN OXIDE COMBINED
‘SUPPORTS ENERGY PRODUCTION’ IT SAID ON THE JAR
I DOUBLED THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE WITHOUT GOING TOO FAR:
IT DIDN’T WORK

MAGNESIUM OXIDE
MAGNESIUM CITRATE AND
MAGNESIUM ASPARTATE
DON’T DO IT FOR ME

THEN I DRANK SOME WATER THAT HAD SEVENTEEN PERCENT MAGNESIUM
I FELT PRETTY GOOD, LIKE A SHORT HIT OF HELIUM
BUT IT JUST WASN’T ENOUGH
I WANTED THE REAL STUFF

AT THE HEALTH FOOD STORE, THEY SUGGESTED ‘NIGARI’
AS THE MAGNESIUM BOOST THAT WOULD DO IT FOR ME
MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE THIS TIME AROUND
IN LESS THAN A WEEK, I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN
IT RECHARGED MY BODY LIKE NOTHING BEFORE
THE MAGNESIUM SEA SALT THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

SO IF YOU FEEL DEPRESSED OR GENERALLY UNWELL
THIS STUFF ACTS LIKE A MAGIC SPELL
IT HELPED WITH MY ARTHRITIS AND DIABETES TOO
IN THIRTY DAYS, I WAS ALMOST BRAND NEW!

QUITE THE PURGATIVE, SO EASY DOES IT
A HALF TEASPOON IN WATER SHOULD DO THE TRICK
OR TAKE A BATH AND THROW IN SOME CRYSTALS
IT GOES THROUGH THE SKIN AND PERFORMS MIRACLES!

MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE DOES IT FOR ME.

Re: Where to Start? Oats??

After doing some searching on this forum, it seems that oats are out, but after searching on the internet, it seems that oats do not 'naturally' contain gluten, but the risk is from cross contamination. Is this correct? Is this the reason, or do oats actually do contain gluten and most are not aware of it yet?

Thanks

All grains contain their own gluten. So, yeah, oats will always have gluten. However, they may get contaminated with wheat gluten as well, and a bad thing times a bad thing equals a bad thing. ;)
