In this regard, the message I interpret as the most important—or perhaps even the simplest—is that we shouldn’t feel guilty about using oil.

That it’s simply another element of nature, just like water, sunlight, and so on, which give us the ability to live or experience life on this planet.

It is true that the greed and lust for power of certain people lead them to treat natural resources with disrespect. However, if such abuse—which primarily involves seizing resources to exert power over others—were to have karmic consequences, these would apply to these tycoons for the reasons described.

As long as we continue to do our best, trying not to disrupt the balance of the ecosystem, doing everything within our power in our daily lives, I believe we will continue to move toward a better world.

I wonder if it's not the right time – or even the last chance (at least for a while) – to quickly buy certain things?

I am worried where this Iran war will lead. More importantly, if we are about to go into WW3 for, who knows how long, what can I do to plan for things to come?

I mean, where will be safe? What can I do to plan and prepare for energy shortages, food shortages, disinformation etc? Will every nation and person being dragged into this war?

Will it be safe to pick “sides”? Will I have a choice or will I be “dragged” into whatever our own government support?

I am asking these questions for my family and friends, how to prepare for and If the worst happens…

You're in the right place to find answers to those questions, and it would come down to paying attention to reality, reading the signs and taking steps to protect ourselves and others. If you think back to the Covid scam, everyone was worried to some extent or another, especially at the beginning, but we got through it eventually thanks to the efforts everyone made to understand the situation, network, etc. That passed, and so will this. In the last sessions the C's said to not be afraid, and that it will not go down as expected for the "reality creators", so we just have to hold on, keep the faith and do what we can.

I was worrying myself along these lines yesterday, pricing chest freezers and bulk pork, wondering if I should stockpile firewood and whatever else, etc. Then both doors to my house, at separate times, flew open. The dog managed to open the front storm door by chance (chasing the Amazon driver! ) and the wind blew open my back door, which I had accidentally left only partially latched. I thought to myself, "Well, that's an omen!"

Doors opening represent opportunities. My mom always told me not to come in one door of the house and out the other, because it invites company (to which it said, cool! I'm bored ). Taken together, these doors opening may have represented the drawing in or flow of resources, the coming and going of things. Grasping and hoarding blocks the energetic body and jams up the exchange system. I took my doors opening as a sign to trust in the DCM to provide. The last thing we need is another toilet paper shortage due to hysteria!

That being said, I'm going to learn as many skills and read as many books as I can! I'm planning to start gardening again this year, saving seeds, and canning. I'd also like to get some chickens for my backyard, but that might be ambitious. I'll look over the threads @iamthatis shared about preparedness on page 9 of this thread, and I want to watch some more of The Outdoor Boys videos. I was reminded of this YouTube channel by Beau's supposition that the content creator is an STO candidate.

I would say that Luke Nichols, the man behind the immensely popular (and my favorite) YouTube channel Outdoor Boys, is quite possibly an STO candidate. I've watched darn near all of his content, and it's not just about building survival shelters in the bush and other outdoor survivalist content....
I especially love when he makes his famous honey butter bread from scratch when he's camping in the woods. He's got a very pleasant demeanor and always treats the land and people around with respect. He may be one of the few true role models for the younger generation, at least in the West.

Propaganda machine will run very strong against him, mental health issues, impeachment, things that the deep state has from him will be released etc. like Epstein connection etc, a huge machinery to discredit him will be disposed. Core supporters of Trump are already recognizing he seems to be losing his mind. Trump's credibility has fallen among core supporters because his actions are just too irrational. I recommend Richard Paris' poll found at the Peoples Pundit on locals.com, the only honest pollster I can find. Baris is predicting at this time the Senate and House will have Democrat majorities after the mid-term elections because of Trump. However, this could change if Trump corrects course in tiime, but not likely.

It appears this session and the ramifications of the war with Iran has us all thinking of how to prepare for probable eventualities. Part of this scenario is an acute energy shortage with gas/oil issues already erupting in different locations across the planet - surge in prices, restrictions/rationing of gas usage affecting many forms of transportation - along with shortages of fertilizer and other elements that will ultimately impact how we live.

The energy crises of the past is what I'm most familiar with which prompted me to bring up the GEET Fuel Processor engine as a possible way to mitigate the likely rationing of gasoline in particular. However, my posts on the subject brought this response:

I bought a Moped, a 50cc one, that should get somewhere in between 80 to 120 mpg, I've about 350 pound of pinto beans, a hundred pounds of rice, NonGMO seeds, a method to make water from condensation, and also a water cooled AC, from Frozen Water bottles, that work for both the AC and Water Production, and a Freezer, Solar Power and a inverter generator for back up, I plan to plant corn for methanol, that are ways to produce methane from animal droppings and vegetable waste.I could go all Mad Max if need be.

I remember reading of a farmer using chicken manure to produce methane for fuel. And yes, landfills produce so much methane that they're rigged with a flare that burns off the gas:

If you travel down State Route 665 in southwestern Franklin County past the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill, this is the flame that you might see.

SWACO ensures that we strictly adhere to and properly handle this gas according to the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) set by the United States EPA.

Additionally, I remember a woman scientist who discovered how to make energy from algae. I don't remember any of the details regarding that, but interesting that nothing ever came of it as far as I know. Could be wrong.

Of course we know many inventors have come up with alternative energy technologies that are immediately confiscated for National Security reasons. I'm wondering if this latest crisis will somehow break that hold and new sources of energy will be revealed. I'm not holding my breath.
