I wonder if it's not the right time – or even the last chance (at least for a while) – to quickly buy certain things?

I am worried where this Iran war will lead. More importantly, if we are about to go into WW3 for, who knows how long, what can I do to plan for things to come?

I mean, where will be safe? What can I do to plan and prepare for energy shortages, food shortages, disinformation etc? Will every nation and person being dragged into this war?

Will it be safe to pick “sides”? Will I have a choice or will I be “dragged” into whatever our own government support?

I am asking these questions for my family and friends, how to prepare for and If the worst happens…

You're in the right place to find answers to those questions, and it would come down to paying attention to reality, reading the signs and taking steps to protect ourselves and others. If you think back to the Covid scam, everyone was worried to some extent or another, especially at the beginning, but we got through it eventually thanks to the efforts everyone made to understand the situation, network, etc. That passed, and so will this. In the last sessions the C's said to not be afraid, and that it will not go down as expected for the "reality creators", so we just have to hold on, keep the faith and do what we can.

I was worrying myself along these lines yesterday, pricing chest freezers and bulk pork, wondering if I should stockpile firewood and whatever else, etc. Then both doors to my house, at separate times, flew open. The dog managed to open the front storm door by chance (chasing the Amazon driver! ) and the wind blew open my back door, which I had accidentally left only partially latched. I thought to myself, "Well, that's an omen!"

Doors opening represent opportunities. My mom always told me not to come in one door of the house and out the other, because it invites company (to which it said, cool! I'm bored ). Taken together, these doors opening may have represented the drawing in or flow of resources, the coming and going of things. Grasping and hoarding blocks the energetic body and jams up the exchange system. I took my doors opening as a sign to trust in the DCM to provide. The last thing we need is another toilet paper shortage due to hysteria!

That being said, I'm going to learn as many skills and read as many books as I can! I'm planning to start gardening again this year, saving seeds, and canning. I'd also like to get some chickens for my backyard, but that might be ambitious. I'll look over the threads @iamthatis shared about preparedness on page 9 of this thread, and I want to watch some more of The Outdoor Boys videos. I was reminded of this YouTube channel by Beau's supposition that the content creator is an STO candidate.

I would say that Luke Nichols, the man behind the immensely popular (and my favorite) YouTube channel Outdoor Boys, is quite possibly an STO candidate. I've watched darn near all of his content, and it's not just about building survival shelters in the bush and other outdoor survivalist content....
I especially love when he makes his famous honey butter bread from scratch when he's camping in the woods. He's got a very pleasant demeanor and always treats the land and people around with respect. He may be one of the few true role models for the younger generation, at least in the West.
