problems with electrical equipment in my area

In the last two days I have seen strange things ... a friend who has two cell phones, both began to behave erratically. A equipment that is used to do analysis at the university also behave strangely and did not work. The two elevators in my building were broke down simultaneously, which is very rare, and to an aunt was also broke down an equipment that emits infrared. it would be planetary influence? or just a coincidence? I did a search an I didn't see any significant solar activity .. Is anybody experiencing something like that?

Are you sure that you are not the source of
energy spikes? :)

Kidding aside, I have not seen such things here
where I am, in my computer room, in NW USA.
All seems "normal" here whatever that means.

We've recently had a set of points burn out in our central air unit, but other than that it's all good here is South Georgia (as far as I know). :)

Exploding transformers and other electrical problems

Anyone caught up with the 'Strange Lights Fort Worth Texas - 5-12-2011'

The current story is that the video is a whole bunch of transformers blowing over the Ft. Hood base. I then decided to spend the last 2 hours researching the subject. These were not transformers going... If a transformer went there would be a loud bang, followed by fire and smoke. None of that here. Once again all speculative. Wondering if anyone else knows anything?

Original video was put out by BrianLuenser (youtube ID.) I think. Just use the youtube or google video search and the title I gave.

Short description... birds chirping, cars driving. Massive ground to air light display as far as I can guess atm. I will let you guys ponder its meaning.

I didn't see any lightning strike but at ten second to about 25 sec. you see round sphere of light appear over the area and some time further in the video as well, 1:55 to 2:10. Loud bang and a green flash is what I witnessed many time as well. Never seen blue or orange flash from a transformer explosion. Happening twice in two day too is peculiar.

Indeed. Here's the SOTT article version from last Friday: http://www.sott.net/articles/show/228500-US-Fort-Worth-lightning-strikes-create-fireball-explosions

Re: The Fort Worth Lights (5/12)

It happened in Portugal too.

Exploding transformers and other electrical problems

I wrote a brief introduction on SOTT to these recent "exploding transformer" stories showing some of the incidents over the last two weeks here:

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/228706-Exploding-Transformers-More-than-meets-the-eye-

My search for exploding transformers was limited to the US, but I suspect that these incidents may be going on in the rest of the world as well.

As I wrote in the conclusion of the article, there's a good chance some (maybe most?) are due to increased lightning strikes. However, there may be some larger process going on as well (which would make sense given all the bizzaro weather and other strange events this year). Maybe this has something to do with 4D bleedthrough events too?

Keit mentioned to me that these transformer explosions may be similar in nature to the electrical power outages at airports that Possibility of Being mentioned last year:

http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=15425.msg128570#msg128570

Which was also discussed in this C's session:

http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=15927.msg133887#msg133887

(PoB) One more question: there were several events at the beginning of
this month on the 9th and 10th of January around New York. At
airports, there were radio frequency problems while a plane was making
an emergency landing, and some other weird things like power surges
affecting 3 states in the US. All of this, as one of our readers
noted, was around the grids.

A: 4D bleedthrough.

It would be interesting to keep tabs on these exploding transformers, transformer fires, strange power outages, or any other news related to them (such as nearby weather reports or other recorded strangeness) and see what patterns come about, if any.

.

Maybe it is possible to get an interesting collection of exploding transformers together. What did make me curious in your article, that the transformers did explode almost in the same time period.

Re: Exploding transformers and other electrical problems

The following aren't about transformator explosions, but about transformator fires, each followed by a blackout, fwiw:

4 items from Germany and Austria:

25the April - Germany
http://www.main-netz.de/nachrichten/blaulicht/regionales/art12299,1621620

26th April - Austria
http://www.kleinezeitung.at/steiermark/knittelfeld/knittelfeld/2730153/nach-trafo-brand-zwei-gemeinden-strom.story

29th April. - Austria

18th May - Germany
http://www.maerkischeallgemeine.de/cms/beitrag/12087644/1353731/Herzberg-Brand-in-Trafostation-Stromausfall.html

Other languages (these I cannot verify as I don't speak the language, maybe someone who does can check those out and report back):

16th May 2011:
http://www.adevarul.ro/locale/calarasi/Calarasi-incendiu-transformator-pagube-pompieri_0_481752175.html

17th May:
http://www.radio.koszalin.pl/wiadomosc.php?id=21659

There's more in other languages, eastern European and also Scandinavian; or at least, the articles have the word 'transformator' in them.. so maybe others from Europe could do a news search, too.

That's right. There was a big cluster of them around 5/12. Is there anything special about that day? Was the Earth hit by a CME by chance?

Well, on May 11, a comet dove into the sun and triggered massive CME.

Also (and I don't know how significant this is) there was a planetary alignment on the 11th/12th of May _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lY-roYPKWIE
