I will second (or third) this. Could be some flukey electrical thing going on, or maybe the Universe is trying to get your attention. Just goes to show us how dependent we are on our electronics. Take them away and we're screwed. Just a preview of what's coming, I guess.... :/
Two points of view to contemplate when this kind of situation gets you ... its been like two months back that the TV broke/died?, I was getting used to not getting used to it, I will admit that living alone .... I was in need of "voices" around? so I began to hear the radio and concentrate on other things, like algebra!!! --I had found it quite intersting nowadays!! :P ---I was beyond bad in Junior High.
Parents and other family members come to visit or need to stay at the apartment while being in this city, so when they noticed the TV was out -there is no internet at home either- we realized that we are a pretty much boring family without those appliances, there are moments for talking and moments for viewing TV and they need more the TV :P ... and -since my budget is limited and I decided to not buy another TV- my sister bought a new one last week, her words "it's not for you, is for us when we come to visit you" ... OK then, fine with me :)
I had decided to use my free moments in other activities and not seeing TV as if it is the only intersting thing in the world, fortunately I do not have cable either. I might viewing somedays ... but not as before.
The other curious thing is that my iPod died? and then it had a resurrection! -it was like 3 weeks ago, in fact, I saw this thread about that time, and I remembered it's first "death" -almost two years ago-... some electrical thingy must be happening in the air again, so I gave it about a week -like the first time-, and it did function again!! :P this iPod of mine is from 2002, I supposed its getting old... -since I use it just to hear music and/or EE practice I do not need new fancier ones- I was used to do EE program with it, I gave me the opportunity to do it without "guidance"? -Laura's voice- ... and I even had more concentration!!
