13-year-old girl becomes record-setting weight lifter (and she loves bacon !!!)

I have to think about all the replies I received, so apologies if I take some time off from this thread.

OK, so you're physically weak, despite the fact that you're of average height for a man...not short. This still leads me right back to my original question, are you intimidated by a 13 year old girl who could most likely (according to your description of yourself) toss you around like a sack of potatoes?
Guardian, since this was your original question, my answer is: No, I'm not.

Whew, this topic sure let the sacred cows out of the corral.
Is it possible that there are some with deeply-ingrained cultural norms, attributable to early imprinting, about what constitutes "male" and "female," being threatened by this 13 y/o's ability to lift twice her weight? Maybe some latent homophobia surfacing?
Whatever it is, get over it, start seeing things as they really are, and stop feeling threatened and being so defensive to the folks on this forum who are trying to help you see that reality.
Hope this helps.

The great thing is that we've managed to come through all that and find each other here - a safe place to have a chance to become who we were destined to be and be appreciated for it. It's really been a gift being here and knowing all of you. :hug2:

Such kind words truth seeker! I, for one, am grateful and glad to be here with you and everyone else, as well! :) :hug2:

Here is dannybananny, I just drooped by to apologize for what I wrote above, I know there aren t any excuses for that and I accept consequences, but I think I at least owe an explanation after everything, I had that program that came to surface from my childhood because people had prejudices about me that I wasn t strong enough because I was skinny when I was younger, good enough, intelligent enough, etc.. for some things, but I showed them they were wrong and that will plays important factor. And then this program was being triggered in this thread, it wasn t nothing about women because I trained with some of them and know there are some very strong women and that they can really hit and wrestle. That s all I wanted to say. Good luck.
