I will just quote the introduction of http://cassiopaea.org/ :)

Ekios, you are engaged in legalistic nitpicking, for no good reason. This indicates that you are running on emotional energy, perhaps due to being corrected several times recently on this forum, and, thus, running a 'right man' program. Please take a moment to stop and observe yourself and your motivations.
Ok will do :/

The first UFO I ever saw: Summer 2010, ...

To me, it's not just that we've seen these things. I think "what have I missed seeing?"

It looks like they don't even bother to hide, when I bet they have the ability to hide. Or if they show themselves only to "special" people, I'd like to know what made me so "special" that they paraded right in front of me in my own little private air show.

I don't even know what to think about the star blinking out.

I asked them because these things weren't the result if "swamp gas" or Venus, or some unnamed atmospheric anomaly. They were craft and they were close, and made no noise that I could tell, and flew like rocks skipping on water. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to know more, so I asked what seems to be a good source. If it gets asked and answered, thanks. If it doesn't, no problem.

I am reading Operation Trojan Horse and I am sure you will find ansewers to your question in this book. Really! :)

There must be a million possible reasons. How would anyone know for sure? But perhaps this could be something for you?

Both times you were driving. It is possible "they" are all around us all the time but we cannot see them. When you're driving do you fall into a quiet state of mind...meditative? If so, this state of mind could open you up to seeing just a little beyond our normal range of perception. Just a guess. As I said...there could be a million reasons.

I would also like to recommend you read Operation Trojan Horse by John Keel, and also to read High Strangeness by Laura, along with the Wave series. These will answer your questions and help you to learn on your own, which is always much more rewarding.

Well, I'm not sure you have to be "special" (can lead to becoming narcissistic) more so than "aware" enough to pay attention to what's going on around you?

Now, for the newbie question, what's are the "Cs"? Lol.

The "Cs" are a construct of a very fertile imagination. Their unproven existence has, like lots of things in this life, to be taken on faith. In an ideal world, it should be a case of either you believe or you don't, but unfortunately a whole 'industry' has grown up around the subject which has made it into a major controversy. The unbelievers, rather than simply saying 'I don't believe in this' and switching off their computers have taken to lying and defaming the leaders of this group in increasingly disgusting ways.

I have not yet made up my mind on the subject. That, I believe, is a legitimate position to take. Equally, belief is also legitimate, as is unbelief. What is totally illegitimate is the harrassment of Laura, Ark, Joe et al. Even from the point of view of a sceptic, it is clear that they are sincere in their beliefs. What is more, they live out their beliefs in a real and tangible way every day. SO if you're not sure, like me, fine. If you don't believe, go to one of the millions of other websites that are out there. But leave them be. Stop the hatred!

Have you read The Wave yet?

I'm also confused by your second paragraph because no one was attacking or even criticizing the Cs or Laura and Ark and the Chateau crew--can you explain further on what you're comments are referring to?

Methinks ec1968 misunderstood Sinny's seemingly innocent question, misinterpreting it as a form of criticism or attack.

Sinny, the Cs refer to the Cassiopaeans and is a frequently-used short form on the forum.

Yes, that is why I used the quotes around that word. Special, as in chosen to let their craft be seen in such an obvious way for some unknown reason(s), and not because I think I'm super-great.

Been reading The Wave,Adventures and some of the other info. There's a lot to digest. I've been looking for "red flags" and have yet to find any. The idea on "agents" makes a lot of sense, especially. I used to see it as a simple mindset exhibited by true believers, but never considered what exactly was behind their mindset.

I don't see it. Driving a truck is not exactly theoretical nuclear physics, but one has to be aware at all times, or much damage can be done.

Hello ec1968,
Maybe Sinny is just asking about something he/she genuinly didn't know (which would be a little ironic too). He/She asks a question and many members have given an input into it.
Maybe your emotional response is based upon the importance you give to the belief/disbelief concept? Just asking in case you didn't notice the recurrence of this theme in your response, while this forum is primarily not about belief as you should already know, but mostly about the wait and see attitude :)

Yes, as Laura has said repeatedly, even in her books, the Cs are 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration through research. Strange you haven't seen this yet. Nothing is taken on belief.

Thanks for all the replies regerding "the C's" , was a genuine question, makes complete sense to refer to them as that, I'm just not used to the lingo round here.

In regards to *what* the C's are and do.... That's a bit to swallow lol, and I appreciate all opinons on it/them. I've got some homework to do.

Sinny, my readings on the topics of UFO leads be to believe one shouldn't be too happy because one can see them, especially if they see them as often as you do. If you read Karla Turner's books, you'll find her true story fascinating. What is usually remembered as a UFO sighting that lasts for a few minutes was many time a full abduction scenario for her - just that she didn't remember it consciously.

Not meaning to scare you, but there could be more to it than this for you personally, or there could be nothing. There are signs such as missing time, strange marks on the body, weird memory flashes and a lot others you can get from reading the book. fwiw.
