To day some body sent me this game calling it a mind game. Just Answer one after other until you get a Answer.
Tell me if you are in 2% or 98%
( floating on the net for a while )

2% or 98%

This is strange...can you figure it out?

Are you the 2% or 98% of the population?

Follow the instructions! NO PEEKING AHEAD!

* Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.

* There's no trick or surprise.

* Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can!
* Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them ... really. * Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something).

Think of a number from 1 to 10

Multiply that number by 9

If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together

Now subtract 5

Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with

(example: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c,etc.)

Think of a country that starts with that letter

Remember the last letter of the name of that country

Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter

Remember the last letter in the name of that animal

Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter

Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange?

I told you this was FREAKY! If not, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else. 98% of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark when given this exercise.

-------------------------
I dont know the rationality or source or authenticity or implication of it what so ever. Just for fun, I am part of 98%.

Or a Canary in the Dominican Republic eating a Yam.

(I was still in the 98% - BTW there are only three countries that start with 'D' (which is guaranteed by the initial math), Denmark, Djibouti and Dominican Republic.)

It is strange enough that any number between 1 and 10 multiplied by 9 and added together if the result produces 2 digits will be 9

1*9=9 -> 9
2*9=18 -> 1+8=9
.
.
.
.
10*9=90 -> 9+0=9

by substacting 5 will always be 4
the 4th letter of the alphabet will always be D

There are only 4 countries that begin with D (Denmark, Djibuti, Dominica and Dominican Republic)... from all these 4 Denmark is the best known and as far as I know there are not many animals start with K but Kangaroo and the best known fruit that starts with O is orange...;) So most people will get the Orange eating Kangaroo in Denmark...

According to my result I would be in the 2% because my angora is eating apricot in Dominica... but it is because at high school one of my favourite subjects was geography and I had to do an essay on Dominica for a competition, my uncle was an angora breeder, I am in fresh produce marketing and it is apricot season in South Africa right now...;) otherwise probably I would have ended up in the 98%...;)

PS: sorry rs but yams are vegetable... LOL

For me - started with 9 - Denmark - Koala and Apple!

As far as number 9 is concerned - once heard a guy on TV say he was able to do quick mathematical calculations in his head with 2, 3, 4 and probably more digits simply because his used a base 9 system of math as opposed to our base 10 system as taught in schools.

I remember thinking about this lying in bed that night and could only think of the fact that if you multiply 9 by any other number the digits add up to 9 or a multiple of 9. Hope this makes sense - I am no mathematician!!

Cat in the Dominican Republic eating a tomato Lol

Although, because your always going to get 9 = d it makes it pretty pointless...
