8-72-9-4-Denmark-Krill-got stuck on the fruit question...

edit: I guess Lime is a fruit... sweet sweet lime.

i agree with the ego thing , anyhow , i ended up with a koala in denmark eating an apple

I'm terrible at maths so I learned a quick way of multiplying nine when I was little using my fingers. Whatever your multiplying nine by, just bend the relevant finger. The I's represent fingers in the following explanation, the o's are the curled down fingers.

1*9= 9 oIIII IIIII = 9
2*9=18 IoIII IIIII = 18
3*9=27 IIoII IIIII = 27

Just use the Bent finger as a division between the first and second digit. After hearing that test for the first time many years ago at school, I instantly realised everyone was gonna get nine by the number work at the beginning because of the way I multiplied nines.

I got Rhinoceros eating a Strawberry in Darfur. Alas I now know Darfur is a region of Sudan, not a country, so I suppose I'm disqualified. :-)

Hehe.... I gave this as a presentation at uni many years ago. It seemed to be about 60-80% were right on the mark. The others were left wondering 'huh?' and quite a few of those making simple maths errors so not ending up with a D to begin with.

Luckily the lecturer followed all the way through(I used elephants in Denmark instead) so I scored a high mark!

Yeah I messed up the math. I *saw* the nine as a six when I added it, which is common with me, so got an 8 instead of a nine. LOL and opps.

It is nice to be the average Joe..isn't it?

I am looking at a Kangaroo eating an Orange in....yeah..Denmark !!!

Well I got a Koala eating an Apple in Denmark. I think most of the 2% guessed this, however, being Australian, I very nearly ended up saying "Kookaburra" (an Australian bird whose call sound like laughter).
