ABBA

Love ABBA, wore my ABBA Gold CD out driving to and from work.

Went to see Swan Lake by the Imperial Russian Bellet company last night in Sydney, it was beautiful.

My favourite singer of all time is Edith Piaff, the depth of her voice brings me to tears, especially Heaven Have Mercy.

Any fans of Neil Diamond - especially his Hot August Night album?

Edith Piaf is one of my favorite singer as well. Her voice is just so emotional! A lot of her songs are very sad but at the same time I find them uplifting. My favorite is "L'accordeoniste".

And ABBA is also one of my favorites. Their music is just fun :)

He has done a lot of really good songs.

Oh geez, i really like Neil Diamond. I am still listening to his album Jonathan Livingston the Seagull.

What an album ! And when i am listening to it, most of the times, i am seeing the movie in my head and the fight of Jonathan to free himself.

I like a lot of different music and singers but I think my absolute favorite of all time would have to be "Greensleeves". My sister used to play it on the piano sometimes and I really love that tune. I didn't really know that there were words to it until fairly recently.

I saw the Jonathan Livingston Seagull movie in 1974 (mainly because of Neil Diamond's music), but that film literally changed my life, suddenly I just knew the meaning of life.

It started me on a journey (albeit in fits and starts between career and family) and this is where it has brought me.

Now the real work begins.

I'm a Neil Diamond fan too. The first album I owned was "Sweet Caroline" and my favorite is STILL "Taproot Manuscript" which I have had to replace four or five times over the years. The last lines of "Done Too Soon" still give me the chills. I'm pretty happy with his newest effort "12 Songs".

Listened to ABBA hits yesterday with tears in my eyes, thank you, lots of memories. I would love to hear your opinions about a Hungarian singer, Peter Mate. Google: "youtube Máté Péter" Raw English translations of his song titles:

There is of course a cultural distance in his case. ABBA is however eternal.

I liked the Hungarian guy very much.

Also, we don't disable ALL links, just those to disinfo sites and sites that we don't want to support google rankings for.

Meanwhile, have a listen to one of my favorites, Nana Mouskouri:

from wikipedia: "While nominally about young romantic failure... "Solitary Man"'s dynamic melody matched with this melancholic universality would make the song an attractive target for later interpretations."
