(wishful thinking on his part)

It's not wishful thinking on their part, just leave us alone and I will go away. This particular attack has my attention because it has VERY real consequences for a woman and her young children. It's all good fun until you're in a custody battle with a pervert.

I don't see these battles as fun, that is for sure. I also know that you are not scratching Berta for no good reason. The non-reponse from your Lone Narc Song is telling. But what exactly it tells, is not always easy to guess. Especially with a pathological.

I do pray for "Marie" and her children, as the stress of this is something NO ONE should ever have to endure. I have tasted what a psychopath can do to his ex and children.

I have certainly not forgotten how this whole mess started, but I am shocked at where it has led.

How do you deal with fear Guardian?

That depends entirely on what I'm afraid of at the time. Compartmentalization, confrontation, humor, Winchester 30/30, run like hell... there's a variety of choices. How I deal with fear is determined by what's scaring me.

Thanks for answering my question. I admire your style Guardian. Especially your sense of humor. Not in a weird way though. I suppose you can refer to me as being abit transfixed.

I have one last question I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I read in one of your posts that you were thinking of chaining yourself to some post or something like that as a means of protest and another that you were thinking about going to help out with the BP Oil Spill when it happened. I sense a rather deep seated sense of mission which is quite inspiring but how can you consider to go and put yourself in a position that is potentially dangerous to yourself and infact is hardly likely to make a difference as in the BP Oil spill thing? That was essentially where I was aiming at with the fear thing.

If a person is capable to confront petty tyrants, unknown situational variables would be scarier than any individual. You'll probably come off like a 'path' yourself from their perspective, since by comparison to you, they will be a fearful, agenda-moving little man behind a curtain and you're a whole lotta being who is disgusted and not gonna take it anymore.

Quite the difference and nothing to warrant fear because you prolly wouldn't want to live any other way.

Actually, these were two different situations. I was planning on chaining myself to a bulldozer (with a practically indestructible chain and lock) while dressed in a duck suit, when Duke Energy was plowing down a sacred site here in WNC. I was going to quack and cry in Donald Duck voice, for publicity ...which we wound up getting without needing to rent the duck suit, thanks to friends. :)

Long story short, Duke moved the TieStation, and the Sacred Land was preserved.

Later, shortly after the BP disaster, I considered going south with some wildlife rescue friends of mine who are laughingly referred to as "Duck Washers" and we were talking about chemical hazard suits.

I ultimately didn't go because it would have been too hot for me in the suit. I do NOT take heat well, and I would have been a liability as the temps were over 100 deg.

I never know what difference I can make until I try so I weight the risks against the possible benefits, then go for it...or not.

I don't see why. That is like saying that you are only allowed to post on a thread if you are 100% certain about what you write. But who is? We all learn and if this forum is a school, it is natural and necessary that people make mistakes. In fact, it happens all the time, and to all people. I would feel quite out of place if it didn't!

As for Guardian's song, I too didn't see anything wrong with it. It was strategic and funny, and quite Guardian-style. Not only does it provoke a reaction from this guy or his friends, but it attracts attention in a place in which people tend to be irreverent and 'funny'. Plus the guy deserved that and more. I wouldn't have done it that way, but that's just because I don't have Guardian's qualities. ;)

Seems to me what Guardian was doing was following the strategy of something along the lines of, if your trying to find a snake you have to sometimes beat the grass, osit.

Better, she took the issue to his turf and used his own lingo to say "The buck stops here", without involving this forum in doing so, with humor, style, and the 'lolz' factor. :D :cool2:

Oh yeah, I'd been wondering about that. Thanks for the update.

Alright if I was out of line I apologize. But I'll admit that I'm a little confused. I think writing articles to expose someone in a defensive manner is a good way to expose those pathologicals. Going on someone else's forum or in your words "someone else's home" to actively entice them to come out and 'play' to me is basically fighting fire with fire and sinking to their level. I see it the same as when people come here and start throwing certain words around or saying things just to get a reaction out of the people here, namely you Laura. So I guess that's where my confusion came from and that's why I wrote what I did. I apologize if I offended you Guardian.

You don't seem to understand the type of people on forums like WITP. The way Guardian interacted there would seem normal to them, which would actually decrease the chances of anyone there taking issue with her. As for Berta himself, he deserves all the harassment he can get, in whatever form. He's a 'disreputable individual'.

Alex Berta of the Jedburgh Corp. already outed last July
Posted on August 31, 2011

Apparently, I’ve not been the only one to find out about Alex Berta’s dubious connexions. Somebody raised the issue last month on Pastebin. Interesting how his concerns and the data he pointed out to were dismissed and ridiculed, and he labeled as crazy – classic Cointelpro tactic.

Absolutely, it's amazing how people will automatically shut down and shut out (and usually ridicule) anyone who disturbs their cozy little illusory reality where everything is always shiny and the way they want it to be.

I must admit the "You're a Narc" song made me kinda uncomfortable when I read it, Guardian, but I refrained from saying anything initially because I figured that your reason for posting it (if it was you, since I didn't know) would come to light after I brought it up here.

You're much bolder than I am, that's for sure! I'm pretty timid and passive, a "never step on anyone's toes" kinda person, and I'm starting to see how that doesn't work in a world with psychopaths. I guess a big part of it is that I've never wanted to be "seen as mean" or "misinterpreted". But I think I see how those are really programs from when I was a child, dealing with bullies/pathologicals (who always misinterpret/twist what you say when you oppose them), and maybe getting confused by Christian ideals. The fact that my dad has little-to-no guts/backbone and was gone most of the time (because of his job, which he chose) doesn't help.

Anyway, I think you're an inspiration to all of us! :flowers:

And petty tyrants of all flavors. No, it doesn't work on those.
