Alex Jones - COINTELPRO? Fascist Tool?

I remember people talking about him years ago, but I ignored him after finding out both his parents were CIA. No wonder he was never short of funds, clicks, views etc. The algos seem to have been programmed to like him and those like him. Yes, he can tell some truths when convenient, but he's simply not to be trusted.

Both of Jones' parents were CIA?

Tucker Carlson's dad was CIA, but he's 'on the right path', so coming from a well-connected family isn't a sure sign that someone is 'not to be trusted'.

Seems to me like Jones he is 'in over his head' with the lines of investigation Owens has opened. What he and other critics seem to be revealing is that they don't understand the complex, layered, 'mosaic' or 'matrix' Owens is thinking within. Even the 'conspiracy theorists' among them!

This 'inability to go there' may be, in part, what separates humans from OPs.

Or maybe he's simply been 'turned' because he needs the money. Which would be sad given his 'lifetime of service' to truth-telling. It's like watching country music legend Willie Nelson turn to corporate advertizing in the early 90s after he was screwed over by the IRS and PWC accountancy firm and found himself in massive debt.

Good point! I don’t think Jones is part that group, but it seems very clear that his tone has changed in many ways, he might have been clever in other subjects in the past and went where many couldn’t go too, but he always had this inability to see other things or consider like you said, the complexity of certain things, one example always has been around the subject of China.
To me it seems, as implied by others before, that they fully got him with the finantial pressure, they were very close to fully shut him down. And maybe the guy who used to work with him for many years, who went his separate way (can’t remember his name) didn’t want to go along with decisions he maybe done or with his sort of new tone.

Jones community-noted here:

And the top response (and counter from Jones, that I see on my timeline anyway) reveals a whopper of a malapropism from Jones:

I think Jones is likely being beamed in the way that Nick Fuentes is:

Q: (L) So, what is the deal between him and Candace, and him and Tucker?

A: Induced antagonism exacerbated by Nick's paranoia.

Q: (L) Induced... Induced by who or what?

A: Beaming triangulation by deep state operatives.

Q: (L) So he is not paranoid enough, huh? [laughter]

A: Yes

Q: (L) Sorry, I just had to do that.

(Andromeda) Paranoid in the wrong direction.

(L) Yeah, paranoid about the wrong things.

(Niall) And is that motivated by fears that those three together could really coalesce opposition to the Zionists, Israel, et cetera?

A:
Yes!

Lionel suggests that Jones (or at least bulk of Candace's critics) are motivated by jealously: "These are character assassinations. Commercial jealousy dressed up as "moral concern""

The same thought crossed my mind as well. It strikes me there are plenty of ’news influencers’ who can be easily manipulated with clicks, likes, views, etc., and who think very highly of their own opinions and thoughts. Being the ’thought leader’ with the next ’explosive’ headline that could put them at the top is more important than truth itself. It's a self-oriented game, and they can't ’submit’ themselves to being lower on their self-created totem pole. I think this probably holds true for Alex Jones, Nick Fuentes, Steven Crowder, Tim Pool, and others. I’d wager they also have a number of ’sources’ who are actually handlers and their narcissism and love of the spotlight makes them easy prey for spreading lies.
