Are Cass names a Code?

Jarrah is a type of Eucalyptus tree found in Western Australia. It's used for it's very hard timber.

Just a quick note that 'Ormethion', the name of the thought center that created the Lizards (10/18/94) is consistent with the structural principles described above for the C's names, as is the place name 'Neormm' (although the ending is highly marked) mentioned in the session on 4/29/95.

Ormethion - interesting that it contains the word Orion, which has links to "origin" linguistically that have been explicitly pointed out by the C's. And they use the name for the thought center that created the Lizards.

Q: Well, I think that a HUGE key is in the tracking of the
languages...
A: The roots of all languages are identical...
Q: What do you mean?
A: Your origin.
Q: You mean Atlantis?
A: Is that your origin?
Q: You mean Orion?
A: Interesting the word root similarity, yes?

Q: Well, the word root similarities of a LOT of things are
VERY interesting! It is AMAZING the things I have
discovered by tracking word roots...
A: The architects of your languages left clues aplenty. And,
you have the rare opportunity to learn far more of this by
being taught to speak and understand other languages. WE
suggest you work to penetrate the STS implanted resistance
in this area.

So poking around on www.etymonline.com, starting with 'origin' and following the trail, I came across this interesting little tidbit:

...from PIE *ergh- "to set in motion, stir up, raise" (cf. Skt. rghayati "trembles, rages, raves," L. oriri "to rise"), from base *er-/*or- (cf. L. origo "a beginning;" Skt. rnoti "rises, moves," arnah "welling stream;" O.Pers. rasatiy "he comes;" Gk. ornynai "to rouse, start;" Goth. rinnan, O.E. irnan "to flow, run").

The Proto Indo-European base looks like it could have an original semantic value of 'source' or 'beginning' based on the meanings in the daughter languages, thus 'origin'. So with that in mind, you can segment 'Orion' this way:

Or-ion

That of course gives you your two word-parts that circumscribe the 'meth' in Ormethion:

Or-meth-ion

So if this is on track, you just have to wonder what that '-meth-' is all about!

So between this and Poinsettia, perhaps the C's have a slight predisposition towards the botanical, eh? FWIW, I also just discovered that 'Jarrah' means 'earthen water vessel' in Arabic, from which English 'jar' ultimately originates (via a chain of borrowings).

Vostokokki, that one really jarred me for a moment because it's so Finnish "sounding"(while vostokokk could be Eesti :D). Doesn't mean anything in Finnish though...

As I was trying to find out if it did mean something in Finnish I noticed that they are following this thread over at godlike prod

First off, shijing, I have to say that the work you've done on these threads on linguistics is fascinating and much appreciated.

You may have already looked into this but I found a couple interesting remarks about "Neormm" that relate it to "Ormethion". It seems like you are on the same track Laura was with relating the structural principles of the two:

Q: In a previous session where you introduced the concept
of perpendicular realities, you stated that (T) was connected
to a particular reality called 'Neormm.' You also designated
the 'thought center' of STS as Ormethion. I noticed the
similarity of the names. Is there a relationship?
A: The orm is close to orimulsion. Look it up.
Q: Well, what I am asking is about the possible relationship
between Neormm and Ormethion...
A: Our answers have meaning best not to presuppose!

Apparently, Orimulsion is a a fuel: _http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orimulsion

Two later attempts at questioning the connection didn't seem to add any extra info:

Q: Now, I have long wondered about something you said to
TR, about him being connected to a thought center called
Neormm, and that it was related to orimulsion and this is
some kind of a fuel. I wonder if you could clarify that
remark. What is Neormm?
A: Not yet.

Q: (L) Okay, I want to ask: what is the relationship between
Neormm and Odiem?
A: Take the two and look for hidden words.

From the session you referenced, it mentions the name may have something to do with available star guides.

Q: (L) Neormm?
A: Closest English equivalent.
Q: (L) Is that a place?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Where is it?
A: Check star guides.

guimondaniel, indeed there are "codes" in the transcripts, but the years and experience have shown that they only ever mean anything, or lead to anything, to me, personally.

Hmm, yes. Wish I'd read that yesterday. Think I've headed off in the wrong direction here, but SAO's text analysis prompted me to do some numerical analysis with the A=1, B=2, etc pattern. For interest, the average "score" of the words was 80.76 and reduced to a single digit, the average was 4.95. As a single digit, the distribution was as follows:

Value Frequency
1 38
2 37
3 24
4 20
5 25
6 24
7 22
8 29
9 41
Slight favouring of the number 9 there.

I include the data here incase anyone else can make use of it. I couldn't see any interesting patterns myself - perhaps if there is anything to be found it would relate to the content of the particular session. At least it was a learning experience in javascript, excel analysis and textpad macro writing ;)

OK, it wasn't this particular thread they were following, it was just a post that listed the names and I jumped the gun :-[.
It was in fact an old reply in the thread "Re: OK, enough about Nancy and the Zetas. What do you all know about Laura and the Cassiopaeans?" page 119 (___http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message115499/pg11).
I think it's been covered elsewhere on this forum, sorry for the noise :-[

No worries -- kind of nice to know this thread isn't being zeroed in on at Godlike Productions, actually! That would just be sort of weird...

combsbt, I've taken a look at the information you put together, and found some interesting stuff, although no concrete answers about anything The stuff about Ormethion, Neormm, and Odiem gives me the same feeling that I get when looking up the Bahamas and Japan to try to figure out Kantek culture -- I learn lots of stuff along the way, but never feel like I have actually arrived at the final destination. Nevertheless, I'll report what I have so far. Forgive me for repeating a lot of what you have already quoted from the transcripts, but I want to put everything on the subject in chronological order really quickly:

10/18/94

Q: (L) Who created the Lizzies?
A: Ormethion.

Q: (L) And who is this individual?
A: Thought center.

Q: (L) Located where?
A: Everywhere.

Q: (L) Can you give us a little more of a clue?
A: Another sector of reality.

Q: (L) Is this a sentient, self-aware being that created the Lizzies?
A: Yes and no.

Q: (L) Is this individual one of what you called the Transient Passengers?
A: No.

Q: (L) Is it similar?
A: No.

Q: (L) And who created this Ormethion?
A: Not being; thought center.

Q: (L) Thought center of what?
A: Too complex.

10/20/1994

Q: Is Ormethion who the Lizzies worship?
A: Close.

Q: Who do they worship? What do they call their god?
A: Physical universe.

Q: The physical universe is their god?
A: Yes.

4/29/1995

(T) Do we all share a common experience?
A: Close.

Q: (L) Do they all share a common origin?
A: Yes.

Q: (L) And what is that origin?
A: Neormm.

Q: (L) Neormm?
A: Closest English equivalent.

Q: (L) Is that a place?
A: Yes.

Q: (L) Where is it?
A: Check star guides.

Q: (T) Is this a star? All of us are from another star that I’ve formed relationships like that; the special ones that I would consider lasting?
A: In perpendicular reality.

6/7/1997

Q: In a previous session where you introduced the concept of perpendicular realities, you stated that (T) was connected to a particular reality called ‘Neormm.’ You also designated the ‘thought center’ of STS as Ormethion. I noticed the similarity of the names. Is there a relationship?
A: The orm is close to orimulsion. Look it up.

Q: Well, what I am asking is about the possible relationship between Neormm and Ormethion...
A: Our answers have meaning best not to presuppose!

10/10/1998

Q: (A) I want to ask about the meaning of my dream, which was so vivid... about Elohim and Seraphim. What was the meaning of this dream?
A: Peace torch.

Q: (A) What is peace torch? From whom?
A: Not from. All considered before decision on judgment.

Q: (L) That makes no sense at all.
A: Yes it does.

Q: (A) Who were the Elohim?
A: Elohim refers to past, as a connection to future as envisioned in your dream. It is the connector that counts, see?? Ruling council of Od; Odiem.

Q: (L) What about the Seraphim?
A: Council in clouds... We are speaking of advanced insight here.

Q: (L) Why were there 300 Elohim and 301 Seraphim?
A: Who is the odd one out?

Q: (A) Who is the odd one out?
A: Check your roots. Od, Odiem, odd, could we spell it out any clearer for you? Not without abridging free will!

Q: (L) Who is Sara?
A: Roots.

Q: (L) Who is the ‘King of the Angels?’
A: No more spoonfeeding. Gerbers is out of stock!

10/31/1998

Q: Now, I have long wondered about something you said to Terry, about him being connected to a thought center called Neormm, and that it was related to orimulsion, and this is some kind of a fuel. I wonder if you could clarify that remark. What is Neormm?
A: Not yet.

11/14/1998

Q: (L) Okay, I want to ask: what is the relationship between Neormm and Odiem?
A: Take the two and look for hidden words.

Q: (L) Are the two similar in nature as stated, even before one looks for hidden words?
A: ?

First, here is what I've learned about orimulsion (some of which you already pointed out):

Definition: an emulsion of bitumen in water, used as an industrial fuel.

So the fuel itself is a blend of bitumen and water. Interestingly, the word orimulsion is also a blend of two words: Orinoco and emulsion. So it gets segmented like this: ori-mulsion.

The word Orinoco is a South American river flowing 1600 miles (2410 km) from Brazil through Venezuela to the Atlantic Ocean, and the name Orinoco is derived from Guarauno words meaning “a place to paddle”—i.e., a navigable place (_http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/432619/Orinoco-River).

The etymology of emulsion is:

1612, from Fr. emulsion, from L. emulsus, pp. of emulgere "to milk out," from ex- "out" + mulgere "to milk." Milk is a classic instance of an emulsion, drops of one liquid dispersed throughout another.

So when the C's say 'the orm is close to orimulsion', given the fact that orimulsion breaks up into ori-mulsion, I think they might be saying that the orm sequence should actually be segmented as or-m (which we had already figured out when comparing Ormethion and Orion). Therefore, we are probably looking at polymorphemic roots in these names like this, where or is the root:

Or-ion
Or-meth-ion
Ne-or-mm

I'd better remind everyone that this is still highly speculative but its the best I can figure out at present (and I haven't looked at star charts yet, so I don't know if that will go anywhere or not).

Throwing Odiem into the mix now, the C's seem to be hitting us over the head in their responses above that this is another word that can be broken down. Laura had asked about Elohim and Seraphim, both of which are plural forms of Eloh and Seraph respectively, with the plural suffix -im. The C's give both Od and Odiem, so one possibility is that this can be broken down like this:

Od-iem

The -iem may be the related in some way to the plural suffix -im. There is an Indo-European root *od- which means 'to hate' -- I don't know if that is connected or not:

odium: 1602, "fact of being hated," from L. odium "ill-will, hatred, offense," related to odi "I hate" (infinitive odisse), from PIE base *od- "to hate" (cf. Armenian ateam "I hate," O.N. atall, O.E. atol "dire, horrid, loathsome"). Meaning "hatred, detestation" is from 1654.

More interesting is the etymology of the word odd:

odd: c.1300, "constituting a unit in excess of an even number," from O.N. oddi "third or additional number," as in odda-maðr "third man, odd man (who gives the casting vote)," odda-tala "odd number." O.N. oddi means lit. "point, angle;" related via notion of "triangle" to oddr "point of a weapon," from P.Gmc. *uzdaz "pointed upward" (cf. O.E. ord "point of a weapon, spear, source, beginning," O.Fris. ord "point, place," Du. oord "place, region," O.H.G. ort "point," Ger. Ort "place"), from PIE *uzdho- (cf. Lith. us-nis "thistle"). None of the other languages, however, shows the O.N. development from "point" to "third number."

I mention this in passing because of the "third man, odd man" reference which reminds me of the following excerpts:

7/19/1997

A: Laura, my dear, if you really want to reveal “many beautiful and amazing things,” all you need to do is remember the triad, the trilogy, the trinity, and look always for the triplicative connecting clue profile. Connect the threes... do not rest until you have found three beautifully balancing meanings!!

Q: So, in everything there are three aspects?
A: And why? Because it is the realm of the three that you occupy. In order to possess the keys to the next level, just master the Third Man Theme, then move on with grace and anticipation.

4/4/1998

Q: Okay, I get the connection. In the studies of the Triple Goddess, I came
across some interesting things. You suggested that I should research the Third Man Theme. I have discovered that the origin of the word ‘man’ meant a female - the goddess. The oldest word for the male of the species was ‘wer’ as in ‘werewolf.’ So, the Third Man Theme could mean actually, the Triple Goddess. Am I correct?
A: Close, if viewed through “sheets of rain.”

Q: Okay. Tracking the Triple Goddess back to the oldest references, we get to KaliMa. There are all kinds of derivations of this name, but the thing that strikes me is the relationship to the goddess Kell, or Kella, as well as to the word kell, Celts, and how this might be transformed into the word ‘Cassiopaea.’ Can you comment on this?
A: Do not the Celts like “kelly” green?!?

Q: Yes. So. What does ‘green’ have to do with it?
A: Keep searching... learning is accomplished thusly, and learning is fun!

1/2/1999

Q: So, we are back to something else. I once asked about the Third Man Theme and that perhaps you meant that the imagery was that of the Triple Goddess relating to the Isle of Man... and you said ‘if viewed through sheets of rain.’ So, in this book that I am reading, it talks about the fact that the Celts of Gaul worshipped the Rain as the manifestation of the Goddess, and the Celts of Scotland worshipped the Sun... the male God. Does this relate in any way to this remark you made about sheets of rain?
A: In an offhand way.

Q: Anything further you can tell me in terms of a clue about ‘sheets of rain?’
A: Not for now, when you get there, you will find the chalice.

Q: Where and WHAT chalice?
A: Wait and see!

Where does all this lead? I don't know. I feel like there is definitely something there, but I sure don't know what it is yet.

------

One other anecdote about what I had said earlier in the thread:

Actually, what struck me as I read through them is how much [the C's names] resemble the kinds of names that kids will invent when they are making up characters for a story. They already have a sense of the constraints that have to be present for something to sound like a name, but they also create something novel, and the end result is something that we can tell sounds like it should be a name, but also sounds 'made up'. That isn't to say that the C's names necessarily sound juvenile, but it produces the same cognitive dissonance of 'I recognize that this should be a name, but its completely unfamiliar'.

My daughter (12-years old) is writing a story right now to enter a short-story contest, and I read through her draft tonight -- I asked her if I could reproduce her fictitious names here as an illustration of what I meant (she has had no exposure to the Cassiopaean name thread, so that didn't influence her choices):

Zeane
Lineu
Koina
Payora
Quillian
Minhea

I didn't expect the universe to hand me an example two days after I wrote that, but it did, so I thought I would put it up.

Shijing, really great work. I'm embarrased to add my 2 pence here after you've done so much. But I've done the work now, so I might as well share it - might spark off an idea in someone else.

I thought I'd take a literal/simple approach to this one and pass it through an anagram generator. Again don't think I'm on to anything, the results are more amusing than anything.

Domineer Mom Dime Monomer
Demon Memoir Doormen Mime
Drone Mommie Deem Iron Mom
Dime Me Moron Dime Men Room
Dimmer Eon Om Mined Me Room
Mined Ore Mom Remind Me, Moo
Mom Ironed Me Demon Ire Mom

Dome Miner Om Me, Minor Mode
Mime Moo Nerd End Memoir. Om
No Red Mommie! Men, Dim Romeo
Memo: Rid Omen Emir Men, Doom!

I was sorry the anagram generator missed the word Nemo, which I knew as the latin for no one but I see it can also mean:
- an Oromo language word meaning "The Man"
- a Greek noun root meaning "grove of trees"

[Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemo]

Oromo took my attention because it's almost possible to form it from the available letters, and it's not a language I'd heard of before.

Odin is another obvious name that could be formed - Norse Pantheon connection, Thor's Pantheum?

From 960921:
Q: (L) And what is this project?
A: Called "Project Awaken."
Q: (L) And who is behind, or in charge of, this project?
A: Many.
Q: (L) Who are the primary group, groups or individuals? I'm sure
you're not going to give us individuals, but just the grouping.
A: Thor's Pantheum.
Q: (L) And what is Thor's Pantheum?
A: Sub-select trainees for transfer of enlightenment frequency
graduation.

Something that's buzzing around in my mind is a mishmash of the StarGate bad guys - Ori/Origin and then the idea that an emulsion is a mixture of two or more immiscible liquids, and that reminded me of the C's saying that 4D features variable physicality which together reminded me of The Changelings (shapeshifters, also called The Founders (ie orgin)) in
Star Trek DS9 who were able to blend themselves into one great pool of liquid called The Great Link. Just neurons firing here...

EDIT: Deja vu!

Hi The Spoon --

Think I've headed off in the wrong direction here, but SAO's text analysis prompted me to do some numerical analysis with the A=1, B=2, etc pattern. For interest, the average "score" of the words was 80.76 and reduced to a single digit, the average was 4.95....I include the data here in case anyone else can make use of it. I couldn't see any interesting patterns myself - perhaps if there is anything to be found it would relate to the content of the particular session. At least it was a learning experience in javascript, excel analysis and textpad macro writing ;)

That's how I end up feeling about a lot of stuff I try too -- I wasn't even able to get this far with the text analyzer, so thanks for posting the results of your own test. Even if it doesn't seem to go anywhere, it is good to try multiple approaches on something like this; and even if the codes in the transcripts do only mean something to Laura herself, as long as we don't get too distracted, you never know what might be useful to her.

Same goes for this -- I had thought about anagrams, but hadn't done anything with the idea, so thanks for giving this a shot and posting these results too.

I thought about that yesterday, but it looks like Odin is actually built off of another root (*wet-):

Odin: chief Teutonic god, the All-Father, a 19c. revival in ref. to Scandinavian neo-paganism, from Dan., from O.N. Oðinn, from P.Gmc. *Wod-enaz- (source of O.E. Woden, O.H.G. Wuotan), probably from *wod-eno-/*wod-ono- "raging, mad, inspired," from base *wet- "to blow, inspire, spiritually arouse" (see wood (adj.)).

I have often wondered about Thor's Pantheum, though, as a separate issue...

Interesting syncronicity: I'm exploring "humility" elsewhere and one of my correspondents there has just brough up the topic of The Third Man in the context of a Guardian Angel (6th D?):

_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Man_factor

Just for reference, mastering the Third Man Theme could possibly involve learning to play the zither (it's also a piece of music):

_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Man_Theme

Released 3 years before Laura was born. Probably not relevant. IMDB link to the film that it's the soundtrack of here:

_http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0041959/

An American pulp writer arrives in post-WWII Vienna only to find that the friend who waited for him is killed under mysterious circumstances. The ensuing mystery entangles him in his friend's involvement in the black market, with the multinational police, and with his Czech girlfriend.
<snip>
Crabbin introduces himself to Holly and explains he represents the British cultural propaganda department in Vienna
</snip>

Hmm, scores quite high for IMDB, 8.5. Might be worth watching and the propaganda reference suggested possible relevance. Couldn't find any reference to anyone reviewing it in the forum.

Just stood out for me because these are the only two discussions that I'm actively engaged with at the moment.

I could have sworn we've discussed 'The Third Man' on the forum before, but I can't locate the discussion - it's a classic and really, really good! It's a great example of psychopathy as well. (though this is :offtopic: )
