Are Cass names a Code?

Thank you Belibaste,
The idea was worth a try!
It was just a flash!

Wishfull thinking will get you everytime...

I just want to add something here. While reading the Adventure series and the Wave, you will not find anything of value if you read with the intent of finding "clues". What we are supposed to be trying to do is to learn about ourselves, to see objectively. And trying to find clues will not get you there. There is much Work to do and not much time!

Of course, this is just my take on it. :)

But the cassies give clues in the transcriptions, or not????????????????????????

The difference I see is that they now give their names, or did they give their names in the past transcriptions?

The C's have actually given a name in nearly every session since the first one.

If that is true why in one transcription the group ask if they in each session were different beings?

I think that if the cassiopeans gave their names since the first session, they haven't to ask that, or what do you think?

I think that they asked that with the knowledge that the names were given as a convention and might not be 'literal'. Do you have access to a copy of the transcripts? If so, it could be fun to browse through with this topic in mind...

Re: Cassiopaean's Names in Sessions

Note that there is only one name that is recognizable in English: Poinsettia (Corsoca is mentioned as a name taken from a piece of literature: see Luthien's post below). Another word, Fortunaea, seems like it could be a possible name, although it isn't actually as far as I can tell.

Actually Rolla is recognizable as well, at least to me, for there is a town in the Ozarks: Rolla, Missouri.

Fascinating topic and very involved efforts at research! Just wanted to add that little bit.

Just for the record, Knoriha (from the recently-posted 12/29/09 session) has a new twist -- the [kn] sequence has never occurred before as far as I know (and it ends in an [a], which is supposed to be an indication that everything is on the up-and-up FWIW...)

Hi all,

Just a note here that I've updated the C's names in the transcripts on page 2. :)

Thank you Vulcan59.

Regarding the following from session 1/29/10:

Q: (L) And who do we have with us this evening?

A: Timorone Cassiopaea

Q: (L) And why are you so slow this evening?

A: Energy is variable.

I just happened to notice the correlation between the lack of an [-a] on the end of the name and the mention that the energy was variable; the general understanding is that the name will end with an [-a] if there is a good connection.

I was updating some things from the recently posted sessions tonight, and I noticed something that I hadn't before -- I don't know what to make of it, so I'm just making a note:

Hnorra (January 14, 1995)
Honnorra (December 8, 1996)
Honnorah (June 27, 1998)

Sorria (January 27, 1996)
Soriah (September 13, 2009)

Tora (July 8, 1995)
Torra (January 25, 1997)
Torra (March 15, 1997)

Uthurrah (June 7, 1997)
Uturrah (August 9, 1997)
Urturra (August 22, 1998)

Yxorra (May 25, 1996)
Xyorra (May 21, 1997)

December 10, 1994

Frank, Laura, Terry and Jan.

Q: (L) Hello.

A: Hello. Poinsettia.

Q: (L) What?

A: Just came to mind.

Q: (L) Is that in our minds?

A: No, ours.

Q: (L) Who do we have with us tonight?

A: Cassiopaea calling.

Q: (L) What is your name?

A: Rodann.

So it is quite possible that Poinsettia is not a name but some kind of clue like Caucus range for example.

Now about the language of Cassiopaean names.

[...]

Q: (L) Okay, this is Sunday, April 25th, 2010.

A: Hello delighted to be back!

Q: (L) And who do we have with us this evening?

A: Nilennioa of Cassiopaea.

Q: (L) I've often wondered when these names come up. They're just such strange things. What is it that they mean?

A: They relate to the specific vibrational frequency of the moment as expressed by the numerical frequency of the combination of vowels and consonants.

Q: (L) What is the numerical frequency of a vowel and consonant?

A: It is a science barely understood by your civilization but was once well known. Words have deeper meaning than you suspect.

Q: (Bubbles) Like in numerology?

A: Similar, but that is a dim reflection of the ancient science.

Q: (L) Well, that's a fascinating topic, but I don't think we want to get diverted.

I am not a linguist or any kind of scholar so let it be just my wild guess... The names could be only a part of the puzzle. There are very similar word formations: Cederra - Endurra (1994-11-16) - the real name of the sphinxes; Bayreera - Qaddeera (1994-09-30) - the homeworld of Lizards. I doubt that this was just a coincidence.
It is said (and I am agree with this statement) that there are no limits to perfection in any task. From this point of view any occupation could become a science.

Ana,
Word endurra is very similar to endura which has also a gnostic meaning:

_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endura
a practise of the Cathars, a ritualistic fasting in order to speed death

_http://www.theatheistconservative.com/category/gnosticism/
A final rite was called the Endura. He who submitted himself to it could choose to become a Confessor or a Martyr. If he chose to be a Confessor, he would neither eat nor drink for three days. If he chose to be a Martyr, he would never take food or drink again, but fast and thirst to death. So long drawn out and intense would the agony of this be, that the Martyr was permitted to cut his life short by other means. And it was considered a kindness if someone close to the dying Martyr killed him. Both suicide and euthanasia were morally acceptable in that circumstance.

and etymology
_http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=endure
endure
early 14c., "to undergo or suffer" (especially without breaking); late 14c. "to continue in existence," from O.Fr. endurer (12c.) "make hard, harden; bear, tolerate; keep up, maintain," from L. indurare "make hard," in L.L. "harden (the heart) against," from in- (see in- (2)) + durare "to harden," from durus "hard," from PIE *deru- "be firm, solid." Replaced the important O.E. verb dreogan (pt. dreag, pp. drogen), which survives in dialectal dree. Related: Endured; endures.
