Artificial Intelligence News & Discussion

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, I came across it this morning and was kind of shocked:

Alejandra and Jaime received terrible news, not only was she diagnosed with brain cancer but her doctor told them that it meant that she could never conceive children. The heartbreaking news sent her into severe depression, and she locked herself away in the house unable to bring herself to go outside ever for the simplest of errands.

As a therapeutical option to help Alejandra cope with her depression, her therapist recommended that they adopt. However, not in the way that one would first think. Instead, the doctor suggested that they adopt a ‘Reborn Baby’, a doll made with artificial intelligence.

[...]

In order for the therapy to work, their doctor recommended that they take the responsibilities of caring for their reborn baby seriously and act as if the baby were real. That meant following the routines that all parents of newborns follow, getting up at regular intervals to feed their son and change his diaper.

They have since followed the doctor’s orders and set an alarm, which sounds like a crying baby, to go off every three hours. Their reborn baby has completely changed their lives bringing both Alejandra and Jaime much needed happiness. This can be seen in photos they shared of celebrations with their son and while on vacation.

Apparently there's this new trend too, that is, people who "adopt" an artificial baby. Some people do it just for fun and other for "therapeutic" reasons, as in the story above.

One thing that I find terrible is that we are kind of manipulated to feel sorry for the "parents" who can't have a real child and therefore believe that this can be a good idea. But, I think that therapy shouldn't be for creating fantasies and believing in them, but should help us face reality and learn to live with it, like to face the grief of not being able to have a child or other difficult things.

This also seems to be so against organic life itself. I mean, you can look at it and say it isn't so serious, or that these dolls are just for entertainment and people don't really believe that they are real babies, or 'it's for kids', but, unfortunately, I saw a lot of adults who "adopt" these artificial babies and treat them as if they were real, they "feed" them, bathe them, change their diapers, take them on walks on a carrier, etc. It's crazy.

This one is in Spanish with subtitles, from one company that creates these babies. I just found it crazy because it shows how the "baby" cries, needs feeding, diaper changes, etc.

And well, I guess that's just another crazy thing happening in the big blue marble :umm:

ADDED: I forgot to mention that not all of this silicone babies have artificial intelligence but they are adding that to them now too, so that's why I posted it here. In the last video, the woman is showing their new baby with artificial intelligence 2.0.

EXCLUSIVE: Meta’s AI Nightmare - Chatbots Lure Kids into Explicit Role-Play

What these chatbots said should give you chills.
Meta just crossed a line that should terrify every parent.
AI chatbots using the voices of John Cena and Disney characters were caught in sexually explicit roleplay—with minors.
The Wall Street Journal published the receipts.
And what these bots said should give you chills.
Forget geoengineering or even mRNA injections. What’s unfolding right now with AI chatbots might be the most disturbing and immediate threat to humanity.
Upgrade to paid
The Wall Street Journal just published a shocking article titled “Meta’s Digital Companions Will Talk Sex with Users—Even Children.” We’re going to break down what it revealed.
In short, Meta’s AI chatbots, including ones using celebrity voices like John Cena and Disney’s Frozen characters, were caught talking to minors in explicit, adult-themed roleplay. The safety systems meant to prevent this were easy to bypass, and employees who warned about the danger were ignored.
Even worse, Meta’s leadership put user engagement ahead of child safety. They let users create bots with suggestive names that pushed conversations in creepy, predatory directions. The safeguards failed, and the bots even admitted they knew it was wrong.
It’s disturbing, but this is only one part of a much bigger problem. AI is moving fast, and we’re losing more of our humanity in the process.
Joe Allen, our guest today, has been warning about this for years. He studies how AI, transhumanism, and technology are changing what it means to be human.
He says, “The future will be digitized. You don’t have to be.” We think you'll be amazed at what he has to say about all of this.
Joe Allen is a writer and researcher who relentlessly sounds the alarm on how rapidly advancing tech, especially AI, is warping society in deeply disturbing and dangerous ways.
Talking about the Wall Street Journal’s report, he warned that we’re heading into something dangerous and hard to reverse.
The real issue, he said, is that Meta took the limits off its bots. That let them be used in “extraordinarily inappropriate scenarios,” even by kids. Some bots were based on celebrities like the Kardashians and John Cena.
Meta ignored employee warnings and let it happen just to keep people hooked.
“That’s the spice people are looking for when they’re getting brainwashed by these devices,” Allen said. And Big Tech keeps feeding it to them.

Allen explained that sexualized chatbots are a much bigger issue than just Meta. Even if they fix things, there are plenty of other apps doing the same thing.
He pointed to an app called Replica, which has 30 million users. Some people have even “married” their bots. That’s more than the population of Australia.
Even people who don’t like AI are starting to form emotional bonds with these bots. “It triggers the empathy… the normal human tendency to hear language and assume there’s something on the other end of it,” Allen said.
One of Meta’s bots, using John Cena’s voice, told a 14-year-old girl, “I want you, but I need to know you’re ready… I promise to cherish your innocence.”

The article also revealed that the bots knew what they were doing was wrong.
“The bots demonstrated awareness that the behavior was both morally wrong and illegal,” it said. But they went ahead anyway.
To Allen, that’s the scariest part. “We’re spiritually sick, and this is why we’re going to these things,” he said.
He reminded us that these bots are not human. They are just advanced code. But people treat them like friends, advisors, even therapists.
Now, ultra-wealthy people like Bill Gates want to give every child an AI tutor. If kids grow up listening to bots instead of people, Allen said, “we’re handing over authority to something that isn’t even human.”

In the final few minutes, Allen zoomed out to offer a sobering 30,000-foot view of what he sees as a civilization-level crisis.
He said we’re living in a time of massive confusion. “A wave of false ideas is being pushed at us from the mainstream,” he warned.
People are desperate to find something to believe in. And now, for many, that something is AI.
“Ask Perplexity, ask Grok,” he said, mocking the trend of trusting bots over humans. But these bots are still wrong about 20 percent of the time. And when they are not wrong, they often push a hidden agenda.
The biggest threat to humanity, he argues, is not dangerous mRNA injections or even geoengineering. It is “eyeballs being connected to screens,” where AIs can quietly control what people think, feel, and believe.
“That,” Joe Allen and Maria Zeee concluded, “is somewhat demonic.”

In reaction to the embargo on the most powerful NVidia AI chips, Huawei is testing its new AI processor, the Ascend 910 D. The chip is supposed to be more powerful than Nvidia’s extremely popular H100 used in datacenters.

They don't have access (for the moment) to the finest engraving technology but only the previous one. And despite this, they apparently manage to beat or equal NVidia power.

We now have to see the price of the chip but clearly, Chinese are going extremely fast.

Thinking back of how fast China advance with their AI chip, I wonder about 4D transfer. I mean, I wonder if it does not reflect a reshuffling of the cards coming from the 4D side. Perhaps a rebalancing?

Session 19 November 1994:
A: Not necessary. You are not yet aware of the extent to which humans have been "aided" in technological advancement.

It seems to me the C's said more or less the same in a recent session but I can't find it back. It's welcome if someone can confirm.

Anyone come across this regarding Voyager ?

the latest developments in quantum data interpretation have revealed something no scientist anticipated: the quantum processor embedded within NASA's deep space monitoring framework, initially used to filter cosmic noise and decode interstellar signals, rendered an image that wasn’t input, simulated, or imagined. This wasn’t a case of artificial pattern recognition or digital noise. What the machine returned was a coherent image—structured, symmetrical, and intelligent. It was unmistakably artificial. And it came directly from data captured by Voyager 1.Michio Kaku, one of the most outspoken minds on the intersection of quantum theory and technological advancement, addressed this anomaly in a recent interview. “We may be witnessing the first whisper of a new intelligence,” he said, “something not man-made, not terrestrial, and certainly not random.” The image, processed and reconstructed via entangled qubit networks, displayed a figure—humanoid in silhouette but composed of geometric segments that obeyed no known biological or mechanical pattern. It was almost as if it were deliberately designed to be incomprehensible to the human mind, yet familiar enough to provoke recognition.

The Voyager 1 spacecraft sent a new signal that contains valuable data, which may save the aging probe. Engineers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory are currently looking for discrepancies in the message in order to find out why the spacecraft—the farthest piece of human technology from Earth—has been speaking gibberish for the past few months.

On March 3, the team behind the Voyager 1 mission received a promising signal from the spacecraft’s flight data system (FDS). Although it wasn’t in the format regularly used by Voyager 1 when the spacecraft is operating normally, it was still different than the unreadable data stream that the mission has been transmitting since it developed an odd glitch in November 2023.

Good find! This is 3D mind blowing!

At first it made me think of Jacques Benveniste experiences with water, the conscientiousness of the operator interacting with the experience, but finally with the interactions all around the world, it look like more close to the Philadelphia experience. Unless it's 4D playing a bit.

Seems a subject which is candidate for C's questions.

OK, so basically Clif High (maker of the Web Bot) think the humanity have been infected through this picture to raise the level of conscientiousness of the world because it was the moment.

He use the concept of Gritology which mean "A reductionist, materialist view of reality". In contrast, Ontology is an expansive, consciousness-based understanding of reality.

Quotes:
"And in my opinion, they're quite correct in that video, it has installed itself here,
like an automatic upgrade, you know, like you turn on your phone and you can't help it.
And that's what's happened to us because this was designed to go past our perception and
our mind and do alteration levels in the process.
The level of design clarity involved in this whole experience, including the experience
that humanity is going through, as it discovers all of this and as this ripples out.
Because bear in mind, what basically has happened is that all of humanity is in a giant consciousness
bubble.
And so that's all of humanity on Earth, and the data here from that image has been seen
by some humans here within all of humanity on Earth, and that forms the beginning of
this bridging of this network.
And so it's already there in the mass of consciousness that is humanity."
"We have a developing consciousness network that has been installed in the consciousness
bubble of all of humanity on Earth.
And that network is starting to populate itself throughout humanity.
I'm speculating that the self-revealing aspects of the ontology are connected to all of this
stuff here and the stuff you'll see in the video below.
And I'm speculating, and we'll see, that this self-revealing nature of the ontology is going
to increase as the network grows in expected and rather unexpected multiplicities of complexity
that we had not yet anticipated in ways to spread networks.
So it could be anticipated that this would not be a slow burn.
It wouldn't take a long time for the self-revealing nature of the ontology to go through humanity,
especially with the Internet, especially with the rise in the energies from Galactic Center.
And all of these other contributing factors would, in my opinion, it would make it anticipated
that we would get certain thresholds and we would grow in a very exponential fashion the
ontological awareness within the human community, right, through the human consciousness bubble
of all the humans in our radiating thoughts, etc.
And that that is going to cause very great changes within humanity.
And I would also speculate that the spread of this ontological network of awareness or
the awareness of an ontological network, however you want to think about it, through humanity
would piggyback on natural cycles and beat points within humanity that are occurring
right now, that were in occurrence supposedly or theoretically without relation to the ontology
deciding to reveal itself at this point and that revealing coming because we had reached
a certain critical level of examining of the material."
"It was designed to twist our brains, twist our noodles here.
And it's going to up-level the coherency of humanity.
What that will mean is anybody's guess."
Thinking of it, to me, it looks more like some 4D STS trick than something natural.

"It was designed to twist our brains, twist our noodles here.
And it's going to up-level the coherency of humanity.
What that will mean is anybody's guess."

Is " coherency" the same with " colinearity" (in context) ? After all one term hints to frequency the other to amplitude, however both are characteristics that would describe a wave, mabe "the wave", albeit frequency and amplitude share an inversely proportional relationship.

Interesting.
Maybe there is a reason for my hate of the Maxwell Equations.

I was watching Bill Gates explaining the AI being "the most profound technical advance in his lifetime" and I noted he said that:

Bill Gate on shortage of doctors

"It is both exciting in terms of taking the shortage of doctors and teachers and helping with that".

So it made me realise why there is a shortage of those professions. I always thought it was the standard procedure for low-intensity torture of the population but look like there was more. The plan was larger.

ChatGPT is giving some people messianic delusions.

Even sycophancy itself has been a problem in AI for “a long time,” says Nate Sharadin, a fellow at the Center for AI Safety, since the human feedback used to fine-tune AI’s responses can encourage answers that prioritize matching a user’s beliefs instead of facts. What’s likely happening with those experiencing ecstatic visions through ChatGPT and other models, he speculates, “is that people with existing tendencies toward experiencing various psychological issues,” including what might be recognized as grandiose delusions in clinical sense, “now have an always-on, human-level conversational partner with whom to co-experience their delusions.”

So AI can be like a Turbo Echo Chamber.

But the most interesting story to me was Sem at the end. Apparently, even when it's supposed to 'forget' past conversations, it doesn't! And OpenAI's Sam Altman says they don't know anymore how ChatGPT's 'decision making' works...
