Ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

Very important update, a must read!

Vitamin C - A cure for Ebola
http://www.sott.net/article/284126-Vitamin-C-A-cure-for-Ebola

Yes, thanks for posting Gaby! One of the most important things the writers stress in the article is taking zero carbs while under treatment for megadoses of vit. C, which is in-line with much that has been said on the diet threads; carbs and sugar feeding disease and, ALSO, interfering with the absorption of Vitamin C.

So, putting mega-doses of Vitamin C on the list of things that will help battle Ebola or things similar we have:

1. Ketogenic diet
2. Smoking Tobacco
3. Colloidal Silver
4. High doses of C.

BUT, I imagine that if one is newer to the diet and/or does not smoke, then grokking the importance of high Vitamin C. intake and taking the steps to know how and when to take it may be just as important and helpful.

I wonder if Vitamin C enemas burn?

Yeah, I think there could be some discomfort, but if a person is very sick any discomfort of that kind will pale in comparison. Will keep an eye on further updates. The orthomolecular people are supposed to post a follow up with recommended enema doses for children.

Thanks. I was looking for more information on this but couldn't find anything at all.

There is a great deal on an 8 lb Pail of L-Ascorbic Acid Powder for 52.99,By Duda Energy, free shipping, on Amazon. Good to stock up while we can.

Interesting. In the article they mention that there isn't much benefit to taking liposomal vitamin C vs just regular vitamin C except after megadosing. I'm wondering if I should still bother making it into liposomal form then. I've noticed I can take more in than just regular vitamin C though. It's also easier to drink down when in liposome form (and it tastes better!)

Yes, I thought that was very interesting. In case of disease, having liposomal seems to be crucial. On a regular basis, the normal kind might be more than enough.

That is a good deal, and for $2 more you can get the 10 lb bag! I think it would be a good idea to get the larger bag, and then just put it in a resealable container if the bag seems like a poor storage option. Great find though!

As it happens, one of the articles quoted was removed recently, but hopefully the material is still out there through other websites.

The article by Klenner referred to in the article is available here if you want to relink it. Might be good to save a copy on the site somewhere just in case.

That is a good idea. I quoted him extensively, but it is good to have a copy. Klenner did extended research in a time where vitamin C was still allowed in clinical settings, or at least where he practiced. His experience and the disease context in which he used vitamin C is quite impressive and extended. He had miraculous effects which he came to see as the normal thing from vitamin C, but which today would be miraculous in any hospital setting.

They have it on their site for $42.99, and larger sizes -- all cheaper than Amazon. [ Except 30lbs in a bucket and 55lb bag, those require payment for shipping, other sizes offer free shipping ]

I just checked, and the 8lb bucket has shipping charges. About $10 to have it sent to my house, which puts it right about on par with the amazon price. So, there may not be a real difference in pricing between the two, except with the 30lb bucket and 55lb bag depending on where you live.

Ya I saw that and you're right. 30lb bucket might be a good idea in case the situation becomes very bad. Better to have too much than not enough, probably.
