Good point,
It's a description of a pathological liar, who gets off by lying to people and pushing the boundaries just enough and yet getting to remain hidden. Like a cat and mouse game and their "hit" isn't from coming out in the open as what they are, but from lying to people in the most spectacular way and convincing themselves of their success.
Likely a scenario they like to entertain in private for sure. But I guess is not up to them to decide, they are political puppets after all and they have a public-facing purpose. I can't recall any political figure of importance who has suddenly gone "look, this is me!", but I may be wrong.
Also, there is this "reveal themselves just enough" mandate just to respect the free will of the people.
I'm not sure if this is a real photo, but it does look like it might be. They may have tried to remove all male-presenting photos of "Brigitte", but some may still exist somewhere. At the end of the day other people may have had Jean-Michelle's photos in their own private albums.
Would make sense, she's (he) is so much older than him, probably is what Keeps Macron anchored in place.

The couple took their staycation near Fort de Bregancon, the medieval fortress on the Cote d'Azur which has been the official retreat of French presidents since 1968.
Nobody seems to have evidence that the first image is a fake, so far!
Apart from here, but it's clearly a different photo (same location) from a different angle, so that's not a great start.

Apart from here, but it's clearly a different photo (same location) from a different angle, so that's not a great start.
Also seems to be a big difference in the size of the bust between the images with dark blue togs and light blue togs.
