An article that raises the issue of WEF control of Canada - but only in order to delegitimize the claim. It's a pretty flippant piece of 'journalism'. The first paragraph is about as good as it gets.

As revealed by the National Post’s Christopher Nardi, the federal ethics commissioner has been barraged by more than 1,000 requests for the office to investigate claims that senior members of the Canadian government are under the sway of the World Economic Forum.

It’s indicative of a theory that has gained remarkable currency among Canadian right-wing circles, particularly during the events of Freedom Convoy. The gist is that the Swiss-headquartered World Economic Forum is secretly pulling the strings on the Canadian federal government, particularly when it comes to COVID policy.

The short answer is “no,” but it’s not entirely crazy to jump to the conclusion that an international cabal of ultra-elitists is secretly pulling the strings on world affairs (particularly when they keep claiming as much). Let us explain …

On Saturday, a peaceful protest took place in front of Liberal member of Parliament (MP) Randeep Sarai’s Surrey constituency office with the intent of holding local MPs “accountable for COVID-19 tyranny.”
The protest, which was organized by the Sikh Freedom Alliance, attracted close to 40 citizens who demanded an end to the federal government's ongoing travel restrictions for citizens who have not received two COVID-19 injections.

Sarai is one MP out of many who are responsible for Canada continuing to take the North Korea style approach, by punishing their unvaccinated citizens and forbidding them from traveling out of (or fleeing) their own country.
On May 30, Sarai and 200 other MPs, predominately from the Trudeau-Singh coalition, voted down Conservative MP Melissa Lantsman’s motion to end the discriminatory travel ban, keeping Canada as part of the small fringe minority of countries still crushing unvaccinated citizens' mobility rights.

Randeep Sarai’s name recently made headlines after another pro-freedom protest in Surrey, which was reported on by Rebel News.
The CBC, who initially reported that Trudeau canceled his appearance at a fancy Liberal $1000-per-plate fundraiser after racial slurs were hurled and later revised their headline saying so, used MP Sarai as the source for the racist allegations.
Despite many cameras rolling during the modestly sized protest, a heavy police presence, and myself doing my best to find a first hand account of the alleged racial slurs being stated, we were unable to find any evidence corroborating the claim.
This time around the typical “people who want freedom are racist” narrative, which the legacy media favours whenever reporting on citizens concerned with medical tyranny in Canada, wouldn’t get very far with the protest in front of Sarai’s office. After speeches were heard, the protest ended with people of multiple ethnicities dancing together to South Asian music.

The video shows what some of the speakers had to say as well as a passerby who stumbled upon the rally.
I reached out to Sarai asking what his message is for the citizens that rallied out front of his office, and what motivated him to vote in favour of continuing to trap unvaccinated Canadians inside of their country.
As was the case when I reached out to him to get more context surrounding his allegations about the “racial slurs” being hurled, I did not receive a response.

Well it's official, unvaxxed Canadians can now travel within the country by plane or train.

But they are still holding on to lots of other nonsensical restrictions. Unvaxxed can now leave the country but will have to quarantine for 14 days upon return, show negative tests multiple times etc. Unvaxxed foreigners are NOT allowed to enter the country, and everyone else who does enter must use the Arrive Can app. It does appear that they have dropped the mandates for federal employees, so many people may get their jobs back. They were also very clear that the mandates are "suspended", not ended, so likely they will try to bring them back at some point.

And of course, they are keeping the mask requirement on planes and trains. We can't have people forgetting we're in a pandemic after all!

Parents and concerned citizens, we cannot ignore this message. Our children and youth are being subjected to twisted ideologies using social justice as a means to indoctrinate and groom them. From the highly politicized radical LGBTQ agenda to the made up critical race theory the government has a target on our children’s heads and we need to step up and put a STOP to it.

Thinking about this with many smaller community leaders, forget the cities, with some having been followed for decades (mayors, councilors, schools etc.), wherein one could not believe a decade ago that they would raise there hands in a yea vote for some related pathological policy or action, and yet they do. It is like they are not even aware of what they are doing, it is just as Samenow (Inside the Criminal Mind) had said, their wrong thinking. Never stopping to really assess what it is they are doing and what the social ramifications are. Never assessing where it is all coming from - just being swept up in the tide flow and thinking they are doing a good job.

Oh, and speaking of the Emergency Act, here is Freeland zigzagging around and blaming others:

That didn’t sit well with some members of the committee, including NDP MP Matthew Green, who pressed Freeland for relevant economic data that would have influenced the decision to invoke the Emergencies Act.

Their exchange grew testy as Freeland disputed Green’s assertion that reputation and “feelings” don’t matter when it comes to the economy, and specifically its impact on the government’s decision-making.

“I’m not talking about pontification, I’m talking about facts here,” Green said at one point.

“I don’t believe I’m pontificating,” Freeland replied. “The economic impact was absolutely, clearly there.”

“That’s not good enough,” Green shot back.

You'd think I'd be thrilled but I'm pretty pissed about this 'suspension' of the travel mandate. Keeping the 14-day quarantine in place might not be the same thing as banning the unvaxxed from travelling, but it has more or less the same effect as ban. If you're living in Canada and want to fly abroad, that's an extra two weeks of vacation you'll need to find - good luck with that. If you're living abroad and want to visit, again, extra two weeks, and an extra few thousand dollars for the hotel room. Although come to think of it, the fine for breaking quarantine is $5000, which is only $3000 more than the cost of the quarantine hotel.

Judging by the comments I'm seeing at the major press outlets (National Post, Globe & Mail, CBC were the ones I looked at), a lot of people had precisely the same reaction when they saw that the quarantine is remaining in place.

There's also the concern that they'll bring the mandates back. It was announced today that 'fully vaccinated' has been redefined to mean boosted.

A targeted killing is defined as an “assassination by a government authority of an individual(s) for a perceived threat.” This is what Toronto Police indicated when they said pharmaceutical giant Barry Sherman had been “targeted.”
According to a Presscore.ca article published in March 2020, Det.-Sgt. Susan Gomes publicly stated “I believe they were targeted.”

At the time of the murders, RCMP were conducting a criminal investigation of an August, 2015 fundraiser held at the Sherman home for Justin Trudeau. A possibility existed that a Sherman conviction would impede the candidate’s chances of being elected.

As reported by Presscore, Justin Trudeau “responded by paying the Office of Commissioner of Lobbying $400,000 to obstruct/defeat Barry Sherman suit & a court hearing that was to be held Feb 2018 to address OCL refusing to comply with a court order.”

“A chief court clerk order was made as a result of the Commissioner of Lobbying redacting Trudeau’s name from material evidence in an ongoing RCMP investigation. Complying with Chief court clerk order would prove OCL redacted the Trudeau name from the transcript in order to conceal an OCL finding that Justin Trudeau broke the law.”

Admittedly, we arrive at a slippery slope when postulating on motives for the murders. Presscore.ca is a Canadian website founded by editor Paul W. Kinkaid in 2008. Reviewing its contents, we find consistent dedication to incriminating evidence against the Liberal government, Covid, and other issues which concern Conservative citizens.

If their reporting on the Sherman murders is credible, it reveals what no media organization in Canada would dare expose– a connection between Justin Trudeau and the murders of Barry and Honey Sherman.

“Material evidence leads to the conclusion that they were targeted and killed because of the RCMP’s ongoing high profile criminal investigation of Barry and Honey Sherman’s August 26, 2015 fundraiser for 2015 election candidate Justin Trudeau.”
Phil McIntosh, director of investigations for the lobby commission, stated in a report that the directorate found evidence indicating Barry Sherman engaged in political activities that risk creating a sense of obligation on the part of public office holders via the August 2015 Trudeau fundraiser. If accurate, this constitutes a breach of the Canada Elections Act.

Next, an outcome bound to result in a massive sigh of relief on the part of Team Trudeau:

“In light of Dr. Sherman’s passing, the purpose of the investigation to ensure his compliance with the (lobbying) code can no longer be fulfilled,” stated the Lobbying Commission in a letter dated January 24, 2016.
“The newly-appointed federal lobbying watchdog won’t look any further into a complaint about a private fundraiser the late Barry Sherman hosted for Justin Trudeau.”

Case closed. Does this indicate the vehemence by which Trudeau’s backers insisted he endure as prime minister? This part of the picture makes sense. The push for Justin Trudeau to become national leader was no casual affair. Let us consider in retrospect what was riding on his installation as prime minister.

Has our country not undergone its greatest transformation in modern history under the “leadership” of Trudeau? Have the wishes of 1% Elite not been fulfilled during his tenure? Everything that the World Economic Forum and World Health Organization desire? Climate Change, Carbon Tax, Open Borders– you name it, and the prime minister of Canada facilitates it.

Are the Sherman murders indicative of a situation whereby nothing on earth was to prevent globalist seed-sowers from planting straw man Justin Trudeau as prime minister of Canada?

MacLean's discussed the case in 2019, in interview with Kevin Donovan (he wrote book on the subject), yet it seems to yield on speculations - there was this:

A: There were so many ‘out-there’ theories—that the murders were the result of a bad business deal, or the Mossad or the Clinton Foundation was behind it. I’ve arrived at the thinking that it’s not any of these theories. It’s somebody Barry Sherman knew who didn’t want him alive anymore and didn’t want Honey alive anymore.

Not so sure about that "knew" business, except for the last part for all the obvious reasons. Brutal stuff.

Perhaps it is, or not, a murder wherein dead man tell no tales, type of thing. It is fishy business, though.

Just a brief scan, and some of her 'wording' is interesting. It appears that it might have come via a FOI request, as it is littered with s. 15; s.19 redactions.

In one email thread from April 8, 2021 "Re: Devastating vaccine Injuries among residence of Lytton," Bonny is responding to Monika at the BCCDC, when Bonnie said:

"Talk to him fist and then let us know whether this is something we should bring up with the Collage" {the Collage is the CMA}.

The "him" of this correspondence denotes Dr. Charles Hoffe, who was thereafter excoriated in the press and by his medical Collage for reporting observations on his patients (Ivermectin might have factored too down the line).

given this context, do you want me to PHONE {in upper case} Dr. Hoffe as requested by Penny?

So, it seems clear they did not like what the had heard and it was brought up with the Collage, and the Collage is the muscle and the press the loudspeaker. Moreover, by June of the same year the town where Dr. Hoffe had practiced, was burnt down to a crisp with fatalities, yet that is an aside.

I've noticed that the media always refers to it as the "so-called freedom convoy" not just "the freedom convoy" to delegitimize the concept in people's minds.
