Are you all seeing the the news coming out of RT about Ukrainian troops surrendering their armored troop carriers in the east? I saw Laura's comment about the whole thing being better than a soap opera pop up on my Facebook feed some days ago, and at the moment, I have to agree. Still, one nervous trigger finger is all it would take to make this really nasty I imagine. Let's hope Ukrainian soldiers keep making good decisions. (assuming it's all true of course)

I also read about it and Nato starts to real plan sending troops in the eastern direction and Nato-bases, at least 6 German Eurofighters (for September) and a German ship (for May) and they should attend some military exercises there.

Yes, it's being reported in all the main stream media in Germany - even though so far it has been mostly Anti-Putin and Anti-Russia propaganda.

It has been interesting to see the discrepancy between the pushed propaganda and people's responses in comments. And it truly is so transparent this time.

Maybe this is one more example of a miscalculation by the TPTB and everyone "seeing the man behind the curtain".

It's just too much that doesn't add up:
- The U.S. is the only one who benefits from a rift between Russia and the EU
- Europe did nothing against the NSA spying and everyone knows it
- The U.S. and others broke international law themselves too often

And so on...

Nor sure if this information can be trusted:

Some Western media have reported on the incident at the Black Sea on April 12. A Russian fighter jet has repeatedly carried out mock attacks against a U.S. warship.

The aircraft from the type Sukhoi Su-24 (Fencer) had flown twelve times in low altitude to the destroyer USS Donald Cook early in the evening on Saturday. The fighter jet had approached the ship up to 900 meters and had been underway at an altitude of 150 meters above the sea. The event ended without incident after approximately 90 minutes.

What the media didn’t report is what has happened after that. The USS Donald Cook had to immediately make a port call at a Romanian port, because the ship’s crew was completely tuckered out with fear. 27 sailors of the U.S. Navy have immediately submitted their resignations and went off. The Pentagon acknowledged that the mock attacks of the Su-24 on the U.S. destroyer have created a demoralizing effect on the crew.

The above is a direct translation of this German article:

The original source seems to be a Russian news website:

Lucky for them that it wasn't the latest model: Su-34
That one could demoralize them forever.

As I have mentioned here yesterday about similar maneuvers:

I've been watching similar jet plane maneuvers today out of my own window (we have them here sometimes too), but I thought it was a good sign. Apparently, it was not :(.

Those maneuvers actually created an encouraging effect on me, i.e. we have a pretty strong defence against all sorts of provocateurs..

I went to read the RT version and then compared it to the Guardian's and BBC's versions. RT says:

Dozens of Ukrainian troops surrender APCs in Slavyansk

http://rt.com/news/ukraine-troops-withdraw-slavyansk-940/

and the Guardian:

Kiev's grip on eastern Ukraine weakens as pro-Russians seize army vehicles

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/apr/16/kiev-eastern-ukraine-pro-russians-army-vehicles

and the BBC:

Ukraine crisis: Military column 'seized' in Kramatorsk

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-27053500

I find it hilarious that this is what's happening, and how the Western media are phrasing their narratives. I love how they say the Ukranian soldiers were "disarmed" and their armed vehicles "seized". That was without any violence, by the way. Instead, the Ukranian soldiers are taking pictures with the local children. Seriously? How do you disarm and seize a tank without violence? The only way is to receive the keys to the tank from the friendly tank driver himself. In other words, the tank driver is switching sides, which makes RT's version the most accurate of the three above. So who's the terrorist, again?

Oh, what an embarrassment for the Western warmongers and their Ukranian government puppets. What are they going to do now if people don't want to spill blood? Why, increase NATO activities in countries bordering Russia, of course!

If i understood correctly USS Donald Cook is a electronic surveillance ship and maybe trying to tap in Russian communications during ongoing "intervention" of Ukrainian army on Eastern Ukraine... So basically Russians were disrupting covert electronic infiltration by overt disturbance made by Sukhoi -by the way another Sukhoj was flying at high altitude covering the action. I wonder if any of seamen-eavesdroppers suffered some kind of electro-acoustic shock (happens to person talking on phone - land line - when thunder strokes near/line)... That must have been a hell of noise outside and through headsets... FWIW

Thinking about strategists and tacticians making plans and counter-plans for all the most likely possibilities, it is nice to enjoy a moment, if only brief and we can hope it is not brief, where the normal flow of color revolutions, regime changes, etc gets disrupted by folks not following orders.

These comparisons would make a great SOTT piece. Doesn't even need to be long...

It is a guided missile destroyer, but I'd be very surprised if it wasn't using surveillance capabilities to some extent. I'd say most US Navy ships have an intel/cryptography capability and may even have personnel on the ship for signal intelligence gathering like the destroyer (DD) I was on at one point, but I wouldn't really call it an electronic surveillance ship.

The puppets in Kiev really have a situation on their hands. The tougher they talk and send troops east for some violent showdown, the more the troops side with the people and turn over the equipment. It's going to be interesting to see how and how long these puppets stay in power.

According to Haaretz all jews in Donetsk are called on to register themselves and all their properties by pro-russian separatists or face deportation:

I suspect this to be a move by other forces to further "hitlerize" Putin.

This is very interesting, thanks for sharing, birk.

What immediately caught my eye was this quote:
Jews would also have to pay a registration fee of $50 before May 3 and list all real estate and vehicles owned.

This probably indicates whose ears are leaking from this paper, so to speak..

I also have noticed, that the Ukrainian newspaper Mirror of the Week claims that these papers are distributed by very young people, almost children dressed in camouflage and armed with Kalashnikov guns.

This description very much reminds me of the Right Sector guys.

I don't know if it is going to be transcribed, but there are some great quotes there.

"This is the president’s 12th Q&A session, with the previous year’s lasting a record four hours and 48 minutes."

A marathon!
