My first question to this was: Will they really be that stupid??
What will this achieve besides escalating the conflict to yet another level, with unpredictable consequences?
Maybe they are beginning to realize that people and other countries are beginning to see through their lies and outcry, so they feel they have to back it with some substantial actions.
Like saying: See! This is very real! Look what we have to do!
Do not know if its connected, but I think that it is weird that the secretary general goes out with this statement and pushes for it, right before the replacement with the new one(Jens Stoltenberg).
I don't know either, the whole thing is ridiculous. Look at their whole effort to stop
Russia from integrating closer with EU, they indeed got what they wanted, Russia is turning
around and forming other alliances. But it will ultimately hurt EU and Russia doesn't seem to be
hurting much, at least to my understanding, which ultimately shows that EU is nothing but a US controlled vassal.
It's appears to me that every move they made so far has backfired and is bringing about the changes
they want, but in a strange way that ultimately benefits Russia. They don't think ahead much.
The whole rearising cold war propaganda could be just to divert attention from the real
problems. I don't know much about the Cold War, but the whole thing seems to have been nothing
but a way to control the masses and keep states subjugated to the imperial agenda,
the communist boogeyman resembles the 'terrorist threat' we have today, and it's used as a way
to justify their goals, more oppression, less freedom, all done "for our own benefit".
