Since this was supposed to be a marker for entering 'sci-fi world', it is interesting that Rogan and Trump did discuss UFOs and Trump basically said he heard lots of testimonies about the reality of the phenomenon. However, I don't get a sense from social media that those comments made a big splash on people's minds. It might still be some sort of marker working at another informational level, not so obvious to us.
Once heard it said that in marketing a product to the public, people need to hear of it 3 times before it sort of solidifies as something noteworthy in their minds; the information on the product getting "registered" somewhere below conscious attention, but not lost. I'm wondering if something similar may be going on with UFO's and the alien reality.
So far though, the subject has been soooo obscured, belittled, confused and delegitimized for so long by materialist-consensus reality-shapers and narratives - and add to this the incredible amount of noise, programming, distractions, day to day stress, bad food, medications, environmental fog, etc., (that many experience) that important data points - like Trump saying he was briefed a bit about UFO's - doesn't cause many individuals to sit up and say, "Did Trump just say what I think he said?!"
The incredible amount of confusion and disbelief around the topic needs time and an on-going good signal to turn the ship around I think, and counter the above. Having said that, it seems clear that the course of truth around the matter is picking up a good bit of steam given the congressional hearings, Lou Elizondo talking to everyone on the TV and the web and, perhaps, Trump saying what he just did, among other things.
So I just think that it will probably take a few more Big and credible mentions of the subject (and maybe another - very public - mother ship or three) before the 'weight' of the information reaches a kind of tipping point of no return and people are somewhat forced to think harder about just what the heck is going on. Could very well be that the Rogan interview with Trump has a part to play in that process even, as you say, its not so obvious to us right now.
