There seems to be more to it than just another random fire. After the yesterday's fire in the Scranton Army Munitions Plant that produced artillery shells for Ukraine right after the US Congress approved more money/ammo/weapons for Ukraine and Israel, now, almost 5 years to the day after the horrible Notre-Dame fire of April 15, 2019, now this:

Copenhagen fire: Spire collapses as historic stock exchange engulfed by flames

April 16, 20241:41 PM

A fire ripped through Copenhagen's Old Stock Exchange, one of the Danish capital's best-known buildings, on Tuesday, engulfing its spire which collapsed in a scene reminiscent of the 2019 blaze at Paris' Notre-Dame.

Emergency services, employees from the Danish Chamber of Commerce, including its CEO Brian Mikkelsen, and even passers-by were seen carrying large paintings away from the building in a race to save historic artefacts from the flames.

"We are saving everything we possibly can," Copenhagen fire department chief Jakob Vedsted Andersen told reporters.
Denmark's National Museum sent 25 employees to the scene to help evacuate cultural artefacts and paintings, it said on X.
The historic building, whose spire was shaped as the tails of four dragons intertwined, had been under renovation and clad in scaffolding when the fire broke out.

Parts of the roof had collapsed and the fire spread to several floors of the building, Vedsted told reporters.

Some 120 people were working to contain the fire but only around 40% of it was under control, Vedsted said, adding that the firefighting operation would go on for at least 24 hours.

There were no immediate reports of injuries, police said.

"Horrible pictures from the Bourse. So sad. An iconic building that means a lot to all of us ... Our own Notre-Dame moment," Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen wrote on X.

Thick grey smoke rose above the city and sirens could be heard as emergency services were called to the site. Around 90 conscripts from the Royal Life Guards, an army unit, were helping cordon off and secure valuables, the military said.

"I am very, very sad... At first I couldn't believe it was true," schoolteacher Elisabeth Handberg, 80, said, adding that she and her pupils had watched the smoke from their classroom window.

"My fifth graders said 'it's been there since the time of King Christian IV and then it burns'. They were also very touched by it," she added. "I'm hoping it will be rebuilt, it can't be any other way."
The Dutch Renaissance-style building no longer houses the Danish stock exchange, but serves as headquarters for the Danish Chamber of Commerce. [...]

I find it somehow striking on symbolic level that a chamber of commerce (money) is being compared to the iconic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris. Kind of emphasising the consequences of replacing religious faith with the new god of mammon...

I also have a feeling that the topic name may need to be extended soon to other locations of similar symbolism or otherwise not seen as standing alone.

Very sad news because of the art inside. The Danish painters were so good, they named a very well-known painter, Peder Severin Kroyer, that I discovered some years ago seeing the movie Hip Hip Hurrah!

Here is one of his paintings.

The historic building, whose spire was shaped as the tails of four dragons intertwined, had been under renovation and clad in scaffolding when the fire broke out.

This for me is a very symbolic fire, the dragons are burning! Not one dragon, but four.

Interestingly, on this same day, Dubai is experiencing a very unusual storm that inundated large parts of the city.

Dubai is known as a capital of money and excess. Moreover, one of the most iconic buildings of Dubai is the Burj Khalifa, currently the tallest tower on the planet which also has the shape of a spire.

Below is a twitter thread of video clips showing the flood happening in Dubai.

The topic came up on SOTT: Copenhagen's historic stock exchange in flames, cause of fire unknown
I find it somehow striking on symbolic level that a chamber of commerce (money) is being compared to the iconic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris. Kind of emphasising the consequences of replacing religious faith with the new god of mammon...
The evening before the State TV had shown a report about the Notre-Dame fire, one FB comment read. I tried to verify and found an article, that could have been a five-minute news report published the day before: Five years ago, Notre Dame went up in flames - this is how the restoration took place It has so far cost 550 million euros to restore the Parisian landmark. There have been other documentaries and series about the Notre Dame fire over the years. If people did not know about the Paris church before the fire, they might know about it now. Perhaps it is on this background that the Reuters article included a comparison:
"Horrible pictures from the Bourse. So sad. An iconic building that means a lot to all of us ... Our own Notre-Dame moment," Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen wrote on X.
Reuters quotes the Minister of Defence, as if he is the only one able to make a Tweet? Minister or not, saying that the building meant a lot is reasonable, considering that it is only 200 meters from the Danish Parliament, where he is working. By him writing, the Government goes along with the idea that it was just a fire, or is it known or suspected in those circles that the Notre Dame fire was sabotage? For a discussion, see Session 18 May 2019. If the CPH fire was sabotage what would be the motive?

While the symbol of Notre Dame and the old stock exchange are very different one being religious, the other commercial, the respect the society has for old buildings, and the achievements of the past, is that it connects them to their ancestors, the memory of an illustrious leader. It is not openly admitted or talked about in such terms, but I suspect that element is there.

If it was sabotage what would be the motive?

Some commentators found it odd they had seen a news report on TV about Notre Dame only the evening before. Was that part of the circumstance that led to the fire? This would be highly strange, especially because the people in Copenhagen did not suffer from the Paris fire, but who knows? In a different field, there was:

Did the commemorative event have an effect on the second earthquake? - Indeed!
Session 20 October 2018
(Pierre) There was this earthquake in Mexico that happened on the 19th of September in 1985, and then another on the same day in 2017. For the second one, you had people in Mexico commemorating the thousands of deaths in 1985, and then the second one happens that very day. Did the commemorative event have an effect on the second earthquake?

A: Indeed!

Q: (L) I guess you can refer to that session where we talked about the day after Christmas earthquake in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Isn't that the one that had the tsunami and some 200,000 people were killed? The Cs said that if you can't create without, you create within.

(Pierre) I don't think it was only the grieving in Mexico...

(L) It was the current state of affairs.

(Pierre) The injustice and poverty and misery that is so widespread...

(L) I have a theory that when you have oppression of human beings en masse without them being able to release it, that energy goes into the Earth and then the planet reacts for them. It may destroy them in the process, but it reacts for them. Is that anywhere near close to true?

A: Yes!!

Q: (Pierre) The human-cosmic connection goes both ways. And the crazy cosmic events make people more crazy, so then they trigger even more events. It's a downward spiral.
It's a downward spiral, Pierre said. It is funny, in a way, but have a look at the spiral of the spire, in 'Børsen' painted by H.G.F. Holm, c. 1823

Below is more on the building, the fire and symbols surrounding the incidence

Here is the building with its tower, some time before the recent renovation attempts:

The Wiki has:
Børsen (Danish for "the bourse"), also known as Børsbygningen ("the bourse building"), is a 17th-century stock exchange in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. The historic building is situated next to Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament, on the island of Slotsholmen.

Built under the reign of Christian IV in 1619–1640, the building is considered a leading example of the Dutch Renaissance style in Denmark. It is a protected building for conservation purposes.[1] A popular tourist attraction, Børsen was most noted for its distinctive spire, shaped as the tails of four dragons twined together, reaching a height of 56 m (184 ft). On 16 April 2024, the building was severely damaged by a fire, which toppled the spire.[2]
Børsen was planned by Christian IV as part of his plan to strengthen Copenhagen's role as a centre for trade and commerce in Northern Europe.
Construction of the building began in 1620 and was largely completed in 1624 with the exception of the spire (installed in 1625) and details of the east gable (completed in 1640).[4]
The current owner is the Danish Chamber of Commerce
The Danish Chamber of Commerce was founded on 1 January 2007 as a result of a merger between Dansk Handel & Service and the Chamber of Commerce (previously Handelskammeret, HTSI).[2]

Traditionally the organisation's portfolio has been within the service sector, e.g. retail and wholesale, the transport sector, consultant companies, tourism and hospitality sector, etc.
As an employers’ organisation, the Danish Chamber of Commerce negotiates a broad range of collective agreements on various areas and within many industries. The Danish Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Confederation of Danish Employers (DA).

The Danish Chamber of Commerce works towards securing optimal competitive conditions for Danish business. This entails protection of interests in the Danish Parliament (Folketinget), in the European Union, in the local constituencies, and in the regions.
It is known as the Old Stock Exchange, but ceased in that function in 1974
In 1857, Frederick VII sold the building to Grosserer-Societetet[4] for 70,000 rigsdaler.[5]

The building housed the Danish stock-market until 1974. In 1918, unemployed anarchists attacked Børsen, an attack that went into the Danish history books as stormen på Børsen (Storm on the Stock Exchange).[8]
I inserted a green circle to mark the location of the fire.

In the picture, the large complex to the upper left is the Parliament. There is also a museum of war, a state museum of defense history, a Royal Library, and a Danish-Jewish Museum. They are located below the center to the left and right. The burned building is close to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Health.

Looking up comments and links in the discussion on this Danish FB post, there were several suggestions and connections:

The four dragons of the spire were according to one interpretation placed there to keep evil out.
The Wiki has
The building was known for its twisted "Dragon Spire," which was from 1625[24] and was designed as four intertwining dragon tails. The spire had three crowns atop, symbolizing the kingdoms of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. In 1775, a new spire was erected somewhat similar to the old one because there was a risk of it collapsing. The dragons that made up the spire, designed by the fireworks master of Christian IV, were supposed to protect the building from enemies and fire.[4]
If a downward spiral falls, what does that mean? One can speculate, in this case, the context of the spire was the building, and its purpose to protect against enemies and fire. Even if it was initially just a place for trade its last fame was as the place for the national stock exchange. Contrasting older ways of doing business, actual paper stocks, with newer ways which is digitalized trading, and especially digital money, where would there be less fraud? Or how is it possible that the US can have trillions of USD in debts while others suffer, and have to do as told?

Inside the building, there were large images of, Courage, Diligence, Justice, and Wisdom. I don't know if these were paintings on canvas or wall paintings, but the ideas are noble. How do they compare with what goes on today in western politics and parts of the financial world?

Among the comments, some said the event reflects the actions of a war-pushing Government, that is taking the country down. The media and the government are publicly behaving as they should from a US, Ukraine, Israel, perspective. For instance, the Nordstream sabotage investigation was kept from becoming a problem and closed down without revealing much. There is no apparent lack of support for US projects The same day as the fire, it was announced the Government has made another huge donation to Ukraine.
The day after the fire, there was this article in one paper, the author commenting on weapons that did not go to Ukraine:
Denmark has sold the last F-16 aircraft to Argentina. It is strange that, with the current situation in Europe, they send 24 fighter jets as far away as possible. It is a bad signal for Ukraine and the other countries in Europe. With the sale, Denmark does not have the opportunity to donate the last planes to Ukraine at a later date. After all, the US does not contribute with planes. I can't believe the government itself has proposed something so foolish. Is it the United States that pushed the decision through?
The author of the above article is very late for the show, as the selling of the 24 F-16 to Argentina, was cleared/facilitated by the US in October 2023. Seen from a US perspective, the Danish Government did what it should.
“The United States gave the green light to a sale of 24 F-16 fighter aircraft equipped with air-to-air missiles from Denmark to Argentina and is working on a financing package for 40 million dollars to facilitate the purchase by the government Argentina, an operation of enormous geopolitical impact in which Washington competes directly with China, which has offered the sale of JF-17 aircraft from Pakistan.

Updates about the fire
From a news outlet, Ekstra Bladet, Anna Wørmer writes
Press conference with the capital's emergency services
Ekstra Bladet was present during today's press conference with Hovedstadens Beredskab. Among other things, it was about the crew's continued efforts at the historic Stock Exchange building.
Didn't know what awaited them
The capital's emergency services did not know the extent until after their arrival.

Four vehicles arrived at Børsen at 7.40am, and none of the ten firefighters responded to anything unusual.

- But two minutes later, flames and smoke rise from the building. The police must investigate what happened before they arrived, says the incident leader.
From the press conference, it was clear that the work is ongoing, they are trying to stabilize what is still standing, and remove anything flammable, as there still are risks from smoldering embers. The fire began early in the morning, just when people would be busy getting to work, to school, in time for maximum media coverage.
Here is a Tweet showing the collapse of the spire, but will the videos play?
And this:
One commentator, Eva Selsing remarked:
What on earth has been on fire at the top of Børsen that could start a fire? Because there have probably been no cases of spontaneous combustion when you were renovating a historic building. So what was it?
Experts are perplexed too;
There is something about the Børsen brand that does not make sense to seasoned brand experts
'This indicates that it has gone almost directly into over-ignition', says a fire expert about the fire in Børsen.
Jakob Slyngborg Trolls TODAY AT 11:58 UPDATED TODAY AT 12:54 p.m

As fire advisor at Copenhagen Fire Engineering and fire expert at the engineering association IDA, Jens Kastvig is a man with a solid CV.

And there is something that doesn't really make sense to the seasoned fire expert, after he, like so many other Danes, saw the images of Børsen's dragon spire, which succumbed to the flames on Tuesday and crashed to the ground.

- There are some things in this that are not 100 percent connected in relation to a normal fire sequence, he says to DR Nyheder.

And what does not add up for Jens Kastvig is, among other things, how a fire can develop so violently if it were to have started on Tuesday morning.

- People talk about it being a roof fire, but yesterday it emerged that those standing on the roof could not see smoke when they started hearing the fire alarm.

- Four minutes later the fire brigade then arrive, and when they get on the roof the fire has already become violent, violently large.

Far from normal fire progress
- The fire quickly gained a very large scope and is spreading with an explosive character,
said Tim Ole Simonsen, chief of operations at the capital's emergency services, and one of the first on the scene.

And that is exactly what makes fire expert Jens Kastvig wonder.

- It's not a normal fire course. A 'normal fire' will spread over time as an exponential development until everything in the room ignites - what is called a flashover.

- This indicates that it has gone almost directly into over-ignition, says Jens Kastvig.

Therefore, he is now presenting a new theory about the fire. He believes that something indicates that the seed for Børsens was finally laid already on Monday evening.

- My best guess would be that there has been a smoldering fire inside a cavity from the night before.

If you want to see a smoldering fire in your inner eye, you have to imagine a fire or a stove that has almost gone out. No flames, but plenty of heat, explains Jens Kastvig.

- If something has been smoldering inside a cavity all night, and it then breaks through the cavity in the morning, then air gets to it, and then the conditions are present for a rapid fire development, says the fire expert.

At the same time, he emphasizes that he naturally does not know the actual cause of the fire.
1713451700347.png
The damage to Børsen is so extensive that there is a danger of collapse, which prevents the police from carrying out their investigation inside the burned-out building. (Photo: © Ida Marie Odgaard, Ritzau Scanpix)
Smolder fire would make sense
It is also consistent with why the fire alarm was first heard early on Tuesday morning.

- It would also make sense for fire development in a cavity, as it has not been detected by the fire alarm system previously, because there is no legal requirement that small cavities of less than 200 cubic meters must be monitored by a fire alarm.

Jens Kastvig does not dare to point out where a smoldering fire might have started, but in an old building under renovation there are several possibilities, he explains.

- In an old building, it can happen in an old electrical installation if hot work has been done, or if some linoleum cloths have been lying on top of each other or something completely different. But I will leave that to the police.

The Copenhagen Police, who are investigating the Børsen fire, did not want to comment on the theory of whether it could be a smoldering fire that started the night before.

However, this morning it was heard from deputy police inspector at Copenhagen Police, Brian Belling, that they are still in the process of clarifying the cause of the fire.

- We continue to work with the traditional investigation as we still cannot enter the actual fire scene.

- So we continue with the interrogation and review of building drawings to clarify the cause of the fire.

Yesterday it was stated in a press release from the Copenhagen Police that the investigation could take months.

People in the FB thread, remarked on the image that were on many videos and photos of the fire. "Fear nothing" is a slogan from Copenhagen based designer of work boots and safety shoes, Airtox.

Apart from the above rather strange image, there are odd coincidences. The dragons of the spire that fell, reminds one that:
2024 is the Year of the Dragon in Chinese astrology
If taken symbolically what might it mean? It was in the building of the Danish Chamber of Commerce.
A Chinahighlights article, describing the qualities of the year and the sign has:
2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon, beginning on February 10th, 2024 (Chinese New Year) and concluding on January 28th, 2025 (Chinese New Year's Eve).

In Chinese culture, the Dragon holds a significant place as an auspicious and extraordinary creature, unparalleled in talent and excellence. It symbolizes power, nobility, honor, luck, and success. 2024 is forecasted to bring about opportunities, changes, and challenges. If you're seeking a shift in your current lives, this year might offer a favorable chance.
The same page has posted an illustrated comics-like video about the legend of the dragons, in which there is both a large black dragon and a little white dragon that fight two battles. Not related to the event, but it is a good story.

The Wiki about the Chinese Dragon has
The dragon is sometimes used in the West as a national emblem of China, though such use is not commonly seen in the People's Republic of China or Taiwan. Instead, it is generally used as the symbol of culture.

April 16 was the birthday of the recently abdicated Queen Margarethe II.
April 16 was in Copenhagen for the duration of her reign celebrated with flags on the busses and public buildings, and usually with her appearing on the balcony of the Royal Palace, located a little more than a km further to the East. She was married to a Frenchman, which makes the current king half of each. One more link to France?

The fire took place on a Tuesday, the day ruled by Mars, the Greek god of war. Very often elections in Denmark are held on a Tuesday. Both the number 16 and Mars are in Western traditions connected to:

Tarot card number 16, The Tower
Here are some notes from a beginner's book, The Ultimate Guide to Tarot by Liz Dean, she writes:
XVI The Tower Breakdown and illumination
Alternative Names: The House of God, Fate, The Lightning
[...]
Astrological Sign or Planet: Mars
[...]
Meaning: Chaos
[...]
Key Meanings: Destruction and enlightenment
The image is:
1713437753289.png
About how to understand the tower, there is:
The Tower is aflame, struck by lightning that has thrown two figures to the ground. A crown, once atop the Tower, is blasted in to the darkness as nature asserts her power over Earth. In early French tarots, the card is named la Maison Dieu, the House of God, calling to mind the burning of the Tower of Babel as divine retribution for our sins, a story told in the rabbinic text the Midrash. Genesis offers an alternative story: The Tower and city were abandoned, not burned, when God made the Babylonians speak in incomprehensible languages.

As with the other supposedly dark cards in the major arcana—Death and the Devil—there is always a way forward, provided we can accept a force that is higher than us and adapt to a new way of living and relating to each other. If we’ve been cossetting ourselves away in ivory towers, it’s time to come back down to earth.

The Tower marks a point of awakening. In the major arcana sequence, it falls after the Devil. If the Devil is pride, ego, and arrogance, then the Tower is a fall from grace. It is a necessary stage of breakdown and rebuilding so our horizons can expand. We must look for a new place to be, physically or spiritually, and engage with new concepts and people if we are to progress to card XVII, The Star, which offers hope and the chance to follow a dream.

[...] With the Tower, our willpower has no effect. Only the will of God determines the outcome. In this sense, the Tower, along with the Wheel of Fortune [...] is a card of fate.

THE TOWER’S ASTROLOGY
The Tower’s planet is Mars, fiery and masculine, forceful and warlike. Although Mars’s energy can bring destruction, with this comes a release, a breakthrough.
THE TOWER’S SYMBOLS
In the Rider-Waite tarot, the Tower appears with these magical symbols.[...]

The tower: Illustrating society, protection, and the ego, a lone tower can also symbolize the past.
[...]

The falling figures: The figures symbolize humanity at the mercy of God and the power of nature. They also represent the fallout that disaster can bring—emotional, physical, and financial.

[...]

Lightning bolt: The lightning bolt is a symbol of enlightenment and purification, revealing what has been hidden. In a flash, we are spiritually awakened and cleansed of negative karma.

The falling crown: The crown is a symbol of power and sovereignty. The falling crown shows that worldly power no longer holds—nature is a far greater force. We are not in control or protected by our ego anymore.
Regarding the Crown in the image, it is weird now two days later to read, about a large company: Danish Crown closes the abattoir in Ringsted: Cuts 1,200 jobs

The future of the building
Owner says Denmark's treasured stock exchange will be rebuilt after fire
Lord Mayor of Copenhagen have spoken to Paris. It gave one idea for the Stock Exchange's reconstruction Berlingske.dk
A call to Paris has given the Lord Mayor an idea for the area by the Stock Exchange: 'Could we do something more exciting in that area?'
Sophie Hæstorp Andersen (S) mentions, among other things, that in the future you can look at the area around the building and change it.
The stock exchange must be restored as it was. Without hesitation

After the fire - what decisions will be taken in the political sphere?
What decisions are now being taken apart from continued support for Ukraine, US made planes to Argentina, support the Biden, and Israel. Just in this morning was:
Anders Vistisen
@AndersVistisen 9h
Lars Løkke and Stine Bosse want Denmark to commit national and cultural suicide.

7,000 more immigrants per year will mean Swedish conditions before long, including more Islamization, violence and destruction. This is what Løkke and Bosse want with Denmark.
Have not similar measures been taken recently elsewhere in the EU? Do we hear the locksteps from COVID?

The significant number of symbols around the event, as well as the fire anomalies, could indicate a agency interference, which does not exclude taking:

A different perspective
From an older post, commenting on Session 23 May 2020, there was this summary from a compilation of excerpts:
If one selects some expressions, one may with slight editing and some ordering say that:
1) Mass consciousness is aware and driving seeking from many quarters
2) mass unconsciousness perceives something in advance
3) Everything is interactive when it comes to the "collective mind."
4) the human cycle mirrors the cycle of catastrophe and human mass consciousness plays a part.
5) mass human behavior is a reflection of cosmic conditions
6) its all just lessons for the collective consciousness
7) It is possible to tune into the collective consciousness.
In the coming days and months, new information will probably surface. Let us see what happens.
