UK actress and TV personality Denise Welch talks about the national covid ‘scaremongering’ on This Morning.
‘....Basically, for five months now, we’ve had a rolling death count every day. We’ve never had one for the 500 people who die of cancer every day, we’ve never had one for the 180 people who die of heart disease every day or the 20 plus at the moment, who are dying of suicide every day...’
She is well informed and passionate but the presenters and resident show GP come across as utterly pathetic. Not surprisingly the video comments on YouTube were turned off!
After watching the interview, Piers Morgan, controversial and contemptible Good Morning Britain presenter took to Twitter where he called the former Waterloo Road actress ‘dangerous’.
‘Dumb, deluded & dangerous Covid-deniers like Denise Welch need to stop being given airtime,’ he penned reports the Metro, ‘Her idiotic, ill-informed ramblings – from a woman who never stops telling us that she suffers from mental illness – will cost lives by persuading people to think the virus isn’t a threat.’
Denise quickly fired back at Piers’ claims, writing: ‘Please ask Mr Morgan to show me one tweet, one interview where I have denied Covid?
Slowly but surely though more celebrities, who often have large followings on social media etc, are at least questioning the official narrative. Comedian John Bishop for example said last week:
"It seems risk assessments were made months ago when we knew significantly less than we do now and nothing has changed despite the correlation between infection and illness shifting.
"I am sure we will come out of it but I think that will happen sooner if we keep checking if what we are being asked to do makes sense."
