Dabrowski's "Personality-Shaping" back in print!

Hey, between Personality-Shaping Through Positive Disintegration by Kazimierz Dabrowski and Dabrowski's Theory of Positive Disintegration by Sal Mendaglio which should one read if one was to read 1 of the 2. I'd prefer the one written by the man himself but I figured It's a good idea to consult with those who have read both.

There's some interesting stuff in the Mendaglio book, but you're better off reading Dabrowski himself.

I recall the introduction and glossary in Personality Shaping helped me get a better grasp of the concept and terms more quickly, and Dabrowski's book itself is written in an order to help the reader gradually understand, one subject built off the previous one. In the compilation (which I read first as Personality Shaping hadn't yet been released) I didn't understand certain concepts until up to three-fourths of the way through the book, like a revelation of what each writer had been speaking about since the beginning. (It is still just as excellent or close, but I concur Personality Shaping is better to read first.)

Dabrowski and his theory of positive disintegration have been discussed in detail on the forum. Here are some of the topics devoted to his work:

His 1967 book, Personality-Shaping Through Positive Disintegration, has long been out of print and difficult to find (used copies go for around $400). So we're happy to announce that Red Pill Press has just published a brand-new edition, complete with extra material, previously unpublished. It's available in print and Kindle formats here:

;) Will the french editor, Pilule Rouge, will publish it, too?

Yes! You can find it here:

And it is currently being translated into French. :D

Thanks a lot!
I'm looking forward to have it in french! thanks for the translators :)

Chu, if someone is needed to make the re-reading of the book in french, I'll be glad to do it voluntarily (and to buy it too) :) . I'm keen on grammar :)

That would be great, nature! Check this thread: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,12953.msg93863.html#msg93863

And Gandalf will send you an invitation to join our translation group as soon as you volunteer.

Thanks!

OK, then the 3rd item, "Final proofreading" suits to me :)

I look forward to doing this work :)

Hi nature,

An invitation to join the group has just been sent to you.

Please post a little intro as soon as you have joined the group. The French team will be happy to welcome you back.

And if you have any questions about translation, do not hesitate to post them in that group.

And as you know, please remember the following note which is very important for all translators/transcribers :

"Notice to all those interested in volunteering to do translations: We would also like to strongly suggest that you participate regularly in the forum. As you can imagine, translating SOTT/QFS/FOTCM/Cass material also requires a desire to work on the self. This project, believe it or not, is a very useful tool for us all, as we learn a lot about ourselves, networking and the material itself while doing it. But most of the networking and work on the self needs to be done in the forum. The more you participate, the more you learn and the more other members learn with you! "

Thanks AI. Ordered the kindle replacing the .com with .co.uk for UK. The Truth perspective discussion on this book is a great primer. Thank you.
