I'm not very familiar with the anatomy of the brain Ljubica but the pain was about 3 to 4 inches behind my left eye or at least that's the way it felt . Somewhere in that region. And unfortunately I wasn't really paying attention to it but I would have to guess that it was about 3 weeks or so into the start of my DMSO treatment. Sometimes I do still get a slight headache feeling but it goes away rather quickly after I put the pipe down. I'm still kinda undecided as to whether smoking is for me or not but I do so enjoy it. :cool2:

Well, perhaps I should try with DMSO and see how I'm reacting on it, thanks for explanation. :)

No problemo, ;) There is however a thread on the DMSO and I would recommend you read it before starting with treatment. Have a look! http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=17014.0

Thanks, just reading it :)

Very interesting feedback discussion!

I sometimes smoke cotton-filter cigars (Candlelight brand), it helps to stabilize my emotions, easier focus and boost mental endurance. They have a very 'strong' nicotine hit compared to normal cigarettes or even hand rolled ones.

If I smoke more than 3 a day I get a headache like the ones describes in the previous posts, I get very dehydrated during the night and I can't sleep very well. I can sense this hard to describe mental strength/resistance building up after I smoke each one during the day.. Also I feel a little sick after each one, I can describe it as a downer for me I guess.

I also use nasal snuff tobbacco sometimes and I can feel the same 'mental strength' build up during the day if I use it 4 or more times a day. But doesn't give me the headache or the sickness feeling afterwards like the cigars. And the nicotine 'hit' is pretty much the some for me.

I was just thinking that one tend to focus only in the nicotine that contains the tobacco and forget the rest of substances that forms during the burning. These components can have biological activity and can be responsable too of headaches and another symphtoms. I believe that the body redox balance is a factor to consider because of those substances, a big part form radicals that need to be reduced by the enzime system or by conjugation with gluthatione to discarding them. This is a process that require a good support of antioxidants. You mentioned DMSO that is also a good free radical scavenger apart of a fine pain reliever, maybe it have to do with the two sides of it.

I don't know why but I smoke more in the morning, I feel I need to smoke when I get up and also before I go to bed to do my EE Meditation

It seems natural to me since you don't smoke when you're sleeping

I am of O- blood type and do smoke. Generally 10-15 cigs a day. Helps me in focusing and concentration.

If smoking dosen't make you feel good, then I guess you have your anwser right there.

Also, like Laura, when relaxing, I'll smoke less. Usually 2-3 hours before going to bed I do not even smoke one.

Funny enough the C's have said that Grays do not really enjoy eating "smoked fillet mignon" (humans that smoke). Could be the same for some germs/viruses etc.

I have never bothered myself with the whole cancer thing as I beleive that 1) cancer might in part of a metaphysical nature (bad emotions) 2) if you strongly beleive in it, it might become part of your reality.

Also, Nicotine, as far as I know, haven't been showed to be a dangerous compound (just addictive for some). The rest of the crap in comercial brands might be more hazardous to the body hence why I'm going to go with organic tabacco when I have a chance.

I've been smoking for around 35 years and until I started with the Cassiopaean material had never smoked more than 20 a day. Now I'm up to 40 a day and not that happy about it, although if that's the cost of personal progress I'll gladly pay it. Headaches? Yes, but I've always had low blood pressure and find if I increase my salt intake that helps.

Blood type is O negative.

AB+ .. and absolutly unable to smoke, turns me into a strong nausea for the rest of the day. The day after i'm still feeling dizzy and in a bad mood because of it ...

The rare times I have been able to handle to smoke was in the Middle East with the "chicha" aka narguilé/arguilé/arguila but even after a few "pof" I was feeling like I had ten kilos pending in the front of my head, nausea, and the need to lay on a bed urgently (just typing those words makes me feel it again).

I used it a few times to calm my nerves and sleep ... but ... the day after ... "mama mia" ... moody, cranky, headache & co .. yay

It's like my body always punished me for smoking, like saying "teuteuteuteuuuh..
smiley-no-no-yellow.gif
don't bring that inside of me or i'll make you pay for it !!"

(edition : AB positive confirmed)

O-. Liked cigarettes since the first time I tried them. Strong ones like Marlboro tend to give me throat aches, so I've smoked Luckies for the last 10 years. Don't get any headaches. Smoke about a pack a day.

O+ and smoke between 15 and 25 per day depending on what I'm doing. A 50 gram pouch of rolling tobacco lasts me about week or more since I roll my smokes very thin. I don't like very strong tobacco.

Hi Herrnimrod, you might wanna give cigarettes a try that are additive free of any chemicals. Lucky Strikes are chemically loaded just like Marlboro.

Yeah, most (all) store brand cigarettes consists of genetically modified tobacco, reconstituted tobacco, which is the fill that is picked up off the plant floor and several hundred chemicals and additives. If your gonna smoke, smoke organic! There are bound to be at least 1 or 2 brands at the nearest tobacco shop.

You can easily solve this question by your body's own response/demand.

In other words, if I'm feeling OK, no matter if smoking 20 to 30 cigarettes w/o filter per day, it's fine, because following my own needs. Understood, Thanks Laura :).

Fwiw, if I was to smoke 20 to 30 cigarettes per day I would like to feel a lot more than OK. I would want to feel and notice benefits, e.g. in thinking and energy. Many years ago I did try smoking. It calmed and sharpened the mind, but I always ended up feeling very sick afterwards. Haven't tried organic tobacco though ;)

Maybe You can try the organic tobacco, Aragorn. It's help a lot of people including me. :cool2:

Mmh reading back that topic since new add and I wonder what kind of #&$% free/bio tobaco I could find here in france, and if there is any "chicha" clean tobaco that exist ?
