Does the body store physical pain from childhood?

Mariama, How awful to have to go through what you have gone through and then have the trauma settle in your body. Are you familiar with Complex Post Traumatic Stress? It sounds like your most recent trauma, opened a gate way to all of the other traumas in your past....Tore open the old wounds, one scab at a time.

I've been seeing a therapist for 2 years and will likely see her for 2 more years in order to heal some episodes from my own life. Have you considered hypno-therapy, not to remember, but as an aid to relax, to take your body off hyper-vigilant, emergency alert status?

I've experienced two lots of hypnotherapy for dealing with neo-natal trauma, with the second one also focusing on 'as an aid to relax, to take your body off hyper-vigilant, emergency alert status' - and to no effect. So far, the most effective way of operating is by doing the 'Levine' exercises already mentioned in this thread.

Thanks LisaR, for your reply. :)

I am not sure whether the recent events left me traumatised. I was shocked and outraged and was able to get in touch with my emotions almost straight away. There was no reason to develop a trauma, OSIT, because I was able to work through these emotions.
But the shocking events opened a door, which allowed me to gain access to the older traumas. That is how I think it went anyway.

Do you know Dr Berceli's TRE? I find it curious since I've ever experienced such tremor/shaking without prior knowledge of this technique.
Also occasionally I am trying EFT (Tapping)

I can't remember the source offhand, I think it was the C's, but EFT does little more than relax the body, there is an absence of transformation - and I can confirm this from experience of working with a hypnotherapist who also used this technique as part of her practice.

Sure! I guessed what you has said. And yes the C's mentioned it:

Q: (laughter) (L) Are the EFT techniques a valid method?

A: EFT is merely a keep busy activity designed to hold focus. It is the attention that "works". It would be counter to the purposes of the program you have presented.
