Tobacco will last for years if it doesn't get mold. I have some that is more than six years old.

Pod systems are short lived. You will need fresh pods or coils every two to three weeks. And some day they are no longer available.

In case you want something more durable buy a rebuildable atomizer(rda) plus a battery. I will post some reviews on hardware in the coming weeks after testing them.

I’m hoping to do this at some point when the stock comes in, atm there aren’t very many and only one (which I have but it’s not great, aspire pocket x) that cater to mtl on our “pharmacy” sites here ..

I’d be very keen on seeing your reviews .. atm we can get some geekvape, vapresso, uwell, voopoo and wild.

unfortunately no, apparently 1 in 5 make it through customs .. I think the coil kits have a better chance, but the batteries and hardware is a definite no :( only thing I can get is the empty bottles, which is something at least and i can get PG and VG on ebay and i have a supply of nic salts .. so it's really just the hardware atm ..
 
I bought a Caliburn A3 with 1.0 ohm pods and used some Mad Hatter Spearmint 25mg vape juice. It took 40 minutes to charge the 520 mAh battery. It seemed like the battery drained 10% every 5 puffs, so it doesn't last very long.

The juice was more sweet than minty and tasted like chewing gum. Still subtle enough, but I wouldn't vape it every day if I had the choice. I got the nicotine hit around puff 10, and totaled maybe 27 puffs, so it's probably 40% charged. Initial note was that it is warmer than tobacco smoke. I think they only come in 1.0 ohm pods for this model.

I can see why some want to cough, because it kind of tickles my throat, especially if I inhale through my nose. And like others have said, it's not as satisfying as a cigarette, and takes longer for the nicotine hit. I usually smoke American Spirit organic, which is harsh and strong, so I expect the hit in less than three draws. Maybe I can go up to 35 or even 50mg nicotine juices? I've only been smoking 2-3 cigarettes a day, usually after meals.

So maybe some more experimenting. I'll see how a cigarette feels tomorrow. I noticed I'm getting some mucus production, even though I mostly inhaled through my mouth (not direct to lung). It seems in the US you can order vape stuff online, but it can take a while and you have to be present to sign and maybe show an ID for delivery. I think some vape stores can just buy it for you and you pick it up.

This sounds wrong to me .. shouldn’t be doing that .. even my cheap backup device lasts a day!

1.0ohm coils should be running around 12 watts roughly so that is weird .. does the device tell you what wattage it’s running? Can you change it?

They say that 50mg is roughly what you get when you smoke tobacco, which is why all the disposables have that, to help with quitting tobacco … I started on 30mg and I am now down to 20mg which seems to be the sweet spot for me. This is nicotine salt btw not freebase..

I haven’t had any tobacco now for a a week or so .. strange how I looked forward to it , as I started on 4 a day while vaping, then down to 3 then 2 then 1 and now I prefer vaping.

I am trying out some flavours atm. I got various mint/menthols’ and vanilla and cinnamon.. the vanilla is ok, as that was the first I tried .. I made a mint which I will try and then I mixed vanilla and mint together .. not sure how that will go, but it’s a process of how much you mix. I think mint with a hint of vanilla might be ok, will continue to experiment.. I only make 10ml flavours at a time in case I don’t like them.

In other vaping news, I talked to the online pharmacy guy, who used to run a vape shop, nice guy, and he has helped me pick a mod (battery) and a tank (atomiser) that will suit my needs… vaporesso amour s mod and Aspire nautilus 3s tank .. the nautilus tank is specifically for MTL and apparently the BVC coils that it uses are great too… I was thinking of waiting until the Black Friday sales but it seems there is very little markup here and it’s very unlikely that they will have a sale at all .. still, I think having and mod and a tank will be a better investment in the long run as the pods tend to only last 2-4 weeks, and as brokenenglish has said before making your own coils is a good way to ensure you never run out, so it’s both cost effective and ensures no matter what nonsense they put through parliament I will be sorted for the foreseeable future 🤞
